Hello Beautiful! My name is Connie. I am a transformation coach + writer. Green juice addict + yoga lover. Seeker + optimist. Motivator + inspirer. Spiritual rockstar. ABOUT me
A few years ago, I was totally + utterly stuck. I was living a life full of disempowerment and dissatisfaction. I felt sad, lonely and empty. Negative stories played on repeat in my mind. I knew there was SO much more out there for me, but I had no idea how to get there. Fast forward to now, and I am quite literally living my dream life. The changes I have experienced, both in my self and my life have blown me away. It is as a result of the commitment I made to doing the work that I am now where I am today. In 2012, I made a massive leap to turn my dreams in to a reality. I quit my day job, moved in to my own apartment and dived head rst in to creating a full time career as a transformation coach + writer. And I have loved every minute of it. My life is miraculous. It is lled with love. I am the happiest I have ever been. Wherever you are at right now, I want you to know that everything you desire + more is possible for you. Now, this might seem like a strange rst step for a book about manifesting your dreams! However, not loving and accepting your self is the single biggest thing I see hindering people from living the life they desire.

As you move bravely and boldly towards your dreams, there will be plenty of opportunities for your inner critic to step in and tear you down. In those moments where you make mistakes or don t get the results you want, your inner critic will tell you all the reasons why you are not good enough, and why you should just give up now. You can let that inner critic beat you up OR you can choose to instead become your own cheerleader. The one who tells you that you can do it and that you are good enough. You must start learning to encourage yourself like you would your best friend.

Self-love is characterised by:


1. Speaking to yourself in kind, gentle + loving ways 2. Focusing on the wonderful + beautiful things about you 3. Acting in loving ways towards yourself 4. Unconditional acceptance of who you are (flaws and all)

2. Tune inwards + nd out what your little heart wants"


Sometimes admitting what we really want for our life can be scary. It may mean that we have to forge a whole new path for ourselves, let some things go, and really step out of our comfort zone. As a result, many of us avoid taking this really honest look at our life and ourselves.

The truth is, darling, that you cannot be the happy, abundant and deeply fulfilled person you want to be, unless you are doing what it is that your heart desires.
So, if there is even an inch of you that feels there may be something more for you than where you are now, it is time to get honest.

So, what is it that your heart wants? Who do you want to be? What do you want to be known
for? What do you love so much, that you want to dedicate your life to it? I believe on some level you already know the answer. But perhaps there is something blocking your access to it. Your fears, the stories of why you can t do it, the anxiety, the self-doubt, the limiting beliefs all of this blocks your ability to hear what your heart wants. So, in order to hear your heart, you have to get quiet and turn inwards. Suspend fear. Pretend there are no limits. No risk of failure. Nothing to lose.

This is your time to get really honest.

Worksheet: What my heart wants

Sweet pea, get quiet. Sit down with a journal, light a candle, take some deep breaths and relax. Then connect with your heart, and see what comes up. Be totally real with yourself. Pay attention to those thoughts and ideas that feel good. That feel like excitement, possibility, passion, inspiration and aliveness. This is how your heart talks to you. 3. Now, break it into baby steps


So, does seeing all the ah-mazing things that your heart wants totally overwhelm you? Do you get that almost paralyzing feeling that comes from looking at the enormity of what you want to achieve? The key to working through this overwhelm is to stop focusing so much on the big picture and on the enormity of the task.

Instead, focus on where you are right now and what you can do in this moment.

What is one step you can take right now, that would take you that one bit closer to your dreams?

The achievement of your dreams does not happen overnight and it denitely does not happen in one fell swoop. It is the culmination of months and sometimes years of work. It is the result of little baby steps taken each day that add up over time. So, let s break it down baby!

4. Be willing to get totally + utterly uncomfortable


It is in our uncomfortable zone
If you want to turn your delicious dreams into rock-solid realties, you have to be willing to do those things that take you outside your comfort zone. We must move beyond our self-imposed boundaries. We must start to embrace the discomfort we feel, rather than resist it.

that magic and miracles happen.

3 ways to become comfortable with the uncomfortable


1. Take steps outside your comfort zone on a regular basis: How do you get comfortable? You just keep throwing yourself into situations that feel uncomfortable, until you feel comfortable doing it. 2. Embrace it + do not avoid it: The more that you develop a pattern of running from and avoiding anything that feels uncomfortable, the harder it will be to change it. Start facing up + sticking with it, rather than avoiding it. 3. Reframe the discomfort: What if your discomfort was a positive thing? What if rather than labeling it as bad + scary, you could instead see it as being exciting and full of possibility?

5. Say yes more + seize those nuggets of opportunity


When you start setting forth an intention to bring some new things into your life, you will in turn begin to attract new opportunities that support you in achieving it. For example, if you set an intention to make more money, you might attract an opportunity to attend a workshop by someone speaking on abundance. Or if you set the intention to propel your career, you might nd you are given an opportunity to take on more responsibility at work. Or say you set an intention to start a new relationship, perhaps you nd yourself being invited to go to an event with a friend where you will be surrounded by new people. When we set the intention, opportunities arise.

The trick, however, is that initially you may not be able to see the connection between your intention + the opportunity.
So, you just have to start saying yes, even if you cannot see the connection.

Just say yes.


Say yes to opportunities that you can see will directly support your goal, but also just say yes to anything that comes! Trust that there is a divine plan and this opportunity is coming to you for a reason. Your little human mind might just not be able to see it yet. 2013 connie.chapman.com | The Dream Creator Guide

6. Tap in to the glorious gift of your intuition


What if I told you that have an extremely precious yet totally undervalued resource sitting inside of you? This resource has the ability to guide you through confusion, lovingly support you in times of challenge, and lead you effortlessly towards your dreams.

What is this mystical and magical thing I hear you ask?


It is your intuition.

Your intuition or inner voice is that soft, loving + quiet voice that whispers sweet + supportive guidance to you
It often comes to you in the form of a feeling. A sense of knowing. A pull in a certain direction. Or a gut instinct. The guidance of our inner voice lacks reason or logic and so it is often dismissed by your mind. The art of tapping in to your intuition lies in your ability be get quiet, suspend judgment, and listen carefully. It is in the space between thoughts and in our moments of stillness that it is able to speak to us the clearest. That voice is always there, it is just up to us to create the room to hear it. It requires practice and patience.

Meditation: Get to know your inner guide


1. Before you begin, you may want to think of an issue that you would like some guidance around, or that you would like to shift your feelings around. 2. Find a quiet place to sit in your meditation. Sit cross-legged on the ground, and perhaps light a candle to help you relax. 3. Close your eyes and start to turn your attention inwards. We spend so much of our lives looking out to the external world, so it is important to balance this by taking time to look inwards. 4. Feel your breath ling up your chest as you breathe in, and as you breathe out allow all the tension to leave your body. Continue this for a few minutes until you feel relaxed. 5. Start to see your body lling up with light. It can be a white light, a pale pink light, a yellow light, whatever resonates with you. See this light starting as a ball in the centre of your chest, which then expands outwards to ll up your whole body. Feel the warmth and beauty of that light. 6. Turn your focus to your heart space and start to connect with the loving, soft and supportive energy inside your chest. Feel those gentle, loving feelings lling you up. 7. As you connect with those feelings, ask any questions you have for your inner guide. You can ask for support, information, clarity or anything else you need. You can also think about your challenge and ask what would the voice of love say? 8. You may or may not receive answers in the form of words. You may instead just feel a shift in the way you feel. You may experience a more loving feeling, or a sense of knowing. The messages you receive from your inner guidance will make you feel more alive, energised, blissful and light 9. Ask any other questions which may be helpful such as what do I need to learn here? or what am I not seeing? or what is the purpose of this challenge? and then say I welcome guidance If you dont receive anything just let it go, but notice if over the coming days you attract a book, person, article etc. that gives you the answer you were looking for 10. Tune in to your heart space and the feelings in your body. Even if you feel slightly better you have already started to disconnect from fear, and reconnect to your loving inner voice. When this happens you will feel a shift in your energy + it will start to become lighter 11. Always nish your meditation with thank you.

7. Turn on your inner manifestation magnet


Manifestation is a bit of a buzz word these days, so lets demystify it. In order to understand manifestation, we need to understand that we can attract experiences into our lives based on the thoughts, feelings and energy we are giving out.

We are like magnets. When we give off a negative, low level or lacklustre type of energy, we will attract negative, low
level, lacklustre experiences. However, when we give off positive, happy and abundant energy, we will attract positive, happy and abundant people, events and experiences in to our life. PLUS the more that we think about something and give it our attention + energy + focus = the more likely we are to draw it into our lives.

So, how can you turn on your inner manifestation magnet?


1) Focus on what you want: You get what you focus on, so it is important that you keep your focus on what you want. Take your attention off where you are now, and put it on where you want to go. 2) Feel good: Good feelings attract good stuff. So, focus on everything that is going well for you, be positive, think happy thoughts, express gratitude + notice what is great about your life. 3) Visualise: Spend time daydreaming about your desire and thinking about what it will be like to have it. Use your imagination to visualise it, and you will start to draw it to you. 4) Relax and be playful: Do not try to force your thoughts with the intention of manifesting, just have fun with it. Be relaxed and at ease about what you want, rather than stressed and forceful.

The key to bringing yourself to a new place, is to see yourself differently from the way you are. It is necessary to focus on the person you are becoming. You cannot create a new reality, while looking at your current reality.

8. Amp up the good feeling vibes, NOW


The reason so many people are excited about the idea of manifesting, is because they think that manifesting what they want will make them happy. They believe that getting the stuff that they want will make them feel good. Once they change jobs, or once they nd a man, or once they earn more money, THEN they will be happy. The key to happiness is to be happy rst. Youve probably heard it before, and I will say it again happiness is an inside job. That means that you nd ways to feel good rst, even before all of the stuff that you want has manifested.

So, the key is to first find out


+ Why is it that you want what you want? +


What is the driving

force behind all of your goals?

+ For what reason do you want to manifest all of this stuff?

What you will discover is that you want these things because you think that by having them, you will FEEL a certain way.

If that is the case, why wait for the manifestation of your desire until you feel the way you want to feel? Why keep yourself feeling dissatised and unhappy? Why put your happiness on hold?

Why not just feel that way now?

you have got, and not loving yourself until you change, are Beware! Resenting where you are, being unhappy with what
surere ways to halt the manifestation of your dreams in their tracks. However, the quickest way to get to where you want to be, is to rst love + appreciate where you are now and what you already have.

9. Love + appreciate what you have now

Sometimes, when we are working towards something new + exciting, it causes us to feel super pumped about where we are going, but also kind of bummed about where we are now.

Here is why:
When you love and appreciate where you are and what you have now, you draw more things into your life to love and appreciate. When you resent and complain about where you are and what you have, you draw more things in to your life to resent and complain about.
So, if you are wanting to attract and manifest some new beautiful and fullling results that will create oodles of joy and happiness, you must see what is beautiful and fullling about what you already have. You must notice all the amazing things that are already creating oodles of joy in your life. We get what we focus on. We attract people, events, circumstances and things that are a match to the energy we are giving off. Take responsibility for how you are feeling now. 10. Loosen your grip + let go a little "


When you have a dream you are working on creating, and you get behind it and try to push at it so it will happen faster, you are totally getting in the way. Or when you look around you and feel that things are not going the way they should, so you try to control, x or change the way something is unfolding, you are once again getting in the way.

Feeling the need to PUSH your desire and MAKE it unfold how you think it is supposed to comes
from an energy of fear, doubt and lack of belief.

But when you can just relax a little, and let go, and allow things to unfold as they are supposed to, you are giving off a completely different energy. Instead, you have complete faith, you totally believe that your desire is on its way and you know that everything is unfolding exactly as it is meant too.

The mindset that supports manifestation:


You are relaxed, expectant + trusting You believe that what you desire is done, even before you see the physical evidence of it You trust that it is all coming together perfectly, even if there is a part of you that cannot see HOW exactly You continue to tune in to your inner guidance for direction about what you should do, rather than using your head
So loosen your grip, let go and detach a little. You do not have to think about your dream 24/7. Just know it is on its way to you. Keep tuning inwards and hearing your guidance. Keep taking inspired action steps. Keep feeling really good about it. And know it is coming. This is how you manifest.

11. Surround yourself with peeps who lift you up


One of the biggest keys to your success is who you spend time with. It can be extremely difcult to move forward on a bold new path if you are surrounded by people who do not believe in you or support you. Sometimes when we want to change, we look around at our peer group and we nd that we start to feel different. Perhaps we start to develop new interests, have new ideas of what is possible for our life, or decide to take a whole new course of action.

Many of us get held back by the fear of being different.


So this is why surrounding yourself with a like-minded and supportive community is so important. When you start to connect with like-minded people, you realise you are not alone. Not only is this very comforting in itself, but you become surrounded by people who believe in you, who want to see you succeed and who are on a similar path. You attract teachers and guides who can lead you.

Build your support team:


Get online:

Google topics that interest you and nd blogs written by like-minded people. Follow them on facebook. Connect with them on twitter. Watch their youtube videos. Surround yourself with peeps who are rocking a similar message.

Hire a coach:

You not only need people around you who are like-minded, but you need role models and mentors to lead the way and guide you forward. Hiring a coach is a sure way to get the support you need to propel yourself forward. Send me an email to nd out more.

Get out + about: Attend workshops, talks and events where the peeps you want to hang out with hang.
Spark up conversation + make new friends. Network, socialise + share your passion with others.

Many people avoid making decisions because they are trying to gure out which one is the right one. So they think and
think about all of their options and never actually decide.

12. Get started now!

Sometimes the best decision is any decision.


Once you make a decision, THEN you can assess whether or not it was the right one. If everything turns out well, then awesome. But if something needs to change, just change it. You will never know if a decision is the right one, until you make it.

So make it now.
