Bale Processor (Refer to operator's manuals for instructions)

Wash the unit, removing all road debris (road salt & tar). Check for aesthetic defects and shipping damage. Replace damaged items or touch up paint as required. Ensure unit is complete as per customer order. Check wheel bolts, flail drum bolts, motor mount bolts, etc. Check wheel bearings, ensure bearings are properly preloaded and nut, washer and cotter pin are in place. Lubricate machine as per manual specifications. Secure the driveline assembly to the splined shaft. Secure the hydraulic hose holder to the front frame Secure the forks to the rear lift frame. Flail guard rod adjustment handle moves freely and will hit all 5 adjustment holes. Bottom deflector door moves freely and will hit all 4 adjustment holes. Transport lock for deflector door is installed and functional. Ensure cylinder clevis adjustment bolt is positioned down. Ensure safety lights and optional work lights are functioning properly. Feed rollers positioned low on the right and high on the left Bale lift assembly is against frame when cylinders are retracted. Safety decals & reflective stripes installed. Flail drum lock pin engages the flail drum in both positions and disengages freely. Twine cutter can be passed through the full length of tub. Twine cutter is secured in storage position. Operators manual present with machine Remove shipping blocks. Check oil level in gear box.
Bale Processor Operational Check

Ensure feed rollers activate Ensure discharge door activates Ensure feed rollers turn the same direction when operated clockwise or counterclockwise. Ensure free movement of bale lift through full range of operation. Ensure cylinder transport lock fits with bale forks in transport position. Cycle bale lift cylinders a minimum of 3 times, check for leaks and clearance problems.
Grain Tank

Check sprocket alignment and chain tension. Check that key stock is in place and tighten all sprocket set screws Check that meters turn freely. Check sprocket sizes to ensure they correspond to feeding rates. Ensure clean out doors open and close correctly, sealing when they are closed. Ensure lock collars and set screws are tight on metering augers. Ensure gear boxes are oriented so they turn shafts in the correct direction. Check oil level in gear box. Check tire pressure as per manual specifications. Tire pressure affects metering rates. Check back up clutch operates freely in reverse and locks up forward.
Feed Chopper

Lubricate machine as per manual specifications. Ensure drive belt is seated properly on pulleys. Ensure discharge door is in the correct position - Raised if Feed Chopper clutch is engaged. Ensure clutch is in good working order. Ensure belt tightener engages correctly.
