Annual Field Trip

Timoteo

In the month of May, a group of students and professors went to a waterpark in the city of Santiago called Kaskada Park. Here, everyone enjoyed a healthy day having fun in the water (which they all love) and they had the opportunity to be kids for the whole day (without having to leave for work). The photos are a test to that!

The Timothys Parents give Volunteer Work Hours

Since the beginning of the school year, the decision was made to involve the Timothys parents in the cleaning and maintenance of the physical plant, which is the home of our school. One Friday every month, the school activities take a pause and the students parents arrive to work in different areas such as: the kitchen and classrooms. They do a deep clean and repair anything that has been impaired. This is something that we believe is necessary to form in their hearts responsibility for their children and so that there is a tie between the school and the parents. We remember that these students are in our school due to their social -economic conditions and their high-risk up-bringing, and for that reason, it is essential to form a sense of responsibility in the parents that can later reflect in the relationship between parents and children.

The Parents from the Timothy School will be Invited

Definitely, it is crucial that our scholarship students parents will be the first to attend this conference. For them, their attendance is obligatory. Because of the importance of the topic, we have decided to invite them free of cost because we already know (through experience) that they wouldnt attend a conference that had a personal cost to them. We are convinced that their attendance in this activity will be an event which they would have never attended and we are hopeful in God that this topic would be heard, understood, and later applied in their homes. Our students will be the most benefitted in the short and long term. The activity will be held the 26th of June this present year. The cost of the dinner for the whole group of parents will be approximately $80 dollars and we are counting with the attendance of 20 parents. If it interests you to sponsor the parents in this activity, please contact us! He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, an the hearts of the children to their fathers; or else I will come and strike the land with a curse. Malachi 4:6

University Scholarship Fund

Our conference dinner for the summer is already quickly approaching with the topic Intentional Child Raising. Our pastor Popn will be sharing this topic to a group of about 200 parents that will be attending at Hotel Gran Jimenoa in Jarabacoa. This conference dinner has been converted into an evangelical tool that God has allowed us to use to be able to reach many people who are non Christians to listen to topics about family affairs. The funds that are raised will be deposited into the bank account that sustains the Timothys that are currently studying in the university (which for now are 3) and we hope that there will be more students from our school that will be able to benefit from it in the future. Our Timothys are the primary reason for why we celebrate this activity two times a year.
