Introduccin.

Esta es una gua de estudio en la cual el alumno de


primer semestral la tomar como herramienta para el
estudio de los temas vistos durante el periodo
cuatrimestral. Cabe resaltar que como el nombre lo
indica es tan solo una herramienta ms y es
obligacin del estudiante apoyarse tambin en los
apuntes tomados en clase, ejercicios y explicaciones
del libro de texto y trabajos desarrollados. Por lo tanto
es responsabilidad del alumno la bsqueda de
informacin para completar esta gua.

Objetivo de la signatura.

El estudiante:
Practicar utilizando la lengua inglesa en la
realizacin de funciones interactivas y transactivas
elementales a travs de las cuatro habilidades
comunicativas
(produccin
oral
y
escrita,
comprensin lectora y auditiva), mostrando en todo
momento
actitudes
de
inters,
respeto,
responsabilidad, tolerancia y autonoma.

UNIT 1
Grammar. Gerunds and Infinitives
Some verbs are followed by either a gerund or an infinitive with no change in
meaning. For example. Love, hate, cant stand, like, prefer, begin, start, continue, etc.
Some verbs change meaning, depending on whether they are followed by a gerund
or and infinitive.
