St. Timothy School Drama Club invites
you and your family to their spring
production of "Charlie and the
Chocolate Factory". Come join us for an evening filled
with music, dance, and wonderment at the Pico
Playhouse, Friday, May 29th at 7pm, Saturday, May
30th at 7pm, and Sunday, May 31st at 2pm. Tickets
are just $10 in advance, or $15 at the door. Please see

Thanks to Frankie and Tom Bellizia and Vivian Servin for
their help at our parents meeting and for preparing our
First Holy Communion Retreat to be held next Saturday,
May 9th in the Parish Hall. Thanks to Constantina Pair
for donating cosmetic gift sets and Maurice Newman for
donating Magic Castle passes as raffle items for the
retreat. Thanks to our students from the Parish Religious
Education Program for hosting our Family Mass.
My dear parishioners, as many of you may be
aware, either by rumor or the "Tidings", I have been re-
assigned as Pastor of Visitation Church in Westchester. This
new assignment will begin on July 1, 2009. Until then I will
continue as Pastor here. This is the result of my two terms
here being completed. While I am sad to be leaving you,
I will not be far away and I do view this new assignment as
an exiting challenge for me. I definitely want to thank you
all for all you are and do and have done over the years I
have been at St. Timothy's.
The new Pastor for St. Timothy's will be Fr. Paul
Vigil, who has recently served as Pastor of St. Catherine of
Sienna in Reseda. We have been meeting so that I can
familiarize him on the parish life we have at St. Timothy's,
and I know he will come to love you all, just as I have.

St. Timothy School Improvement Fund.
St. Timothy School is in the process of
raising money for the School Improvement
Fund. Our planned improvements include
renovations for a new portico, new alley fence to match
the fence along Pico Blvd., new lunch tables and sports
equipment storage room. To donate, please fill out the
School Improvement Fund envelopes found in the pews
or contact the school for more information.

Parish Religious Education Program
Please note the following schedule change: The May
24th class is cancelled due to the conflict with Memorial
Day weekend. Our last class will be held on May 10th,
Mother’s Day before we break for our summer

Please be advised there has been a stepped up patrol
of parking violations in the alley way behind the church.
Several people received citations last Sunday for
parking in unmarked areas in the alley. Please park in
designated areas along Pico Blvd, in the church/school
parking lot, along side streets, or in the golf club lot
across the street.
