Testimonies from our 2013 JAM team & interns...

Jabulani Africa Ministries has had a huge inuence on my life. I rst get involved with JAM through camps at apostle when I was about 14 years old. Since then I have been growing in my faith and ministry. JAM has helped me become a Godly person by showing me what it means to respect others. Before joining JAM I thought I knew everything about how God wants us to live but soon realized that I will always be learning.

Jabulani Africa Ministries

At rst, I didnt plan on coming to JAM but God reached through my plans and called me here. Now I am growing in the things of God and am becoming a person that loves to be used by God to draw people into a relationship with him. -Masi

In my time here I have learned what it means to reach out and touch other peoples lives and share the gospel.

My mind went to one place Klarstroom. It was a week lled with lots of rsts: rst week in South Africa (rst time out of the country for that matter), rst time in Price Albert, my rst outreach ever and the rst time I have ever felt so loved. I remember as soon as we arrived so many beautiful children ocked to us. Each grabbing our hands, hugging us, playing with us loving us. Ill never forget the little girl who courageously grabbed my hand and held it. She looked up at me and gave me a big smile only God could have made. More and more children gathered and eventually there became chains of leaders and children holding hands. I felt God all around and His presence inside of me. I didnt know any Afrikaans and these children didnt know any English but the amount of love I had for these children was incredible! It just goes to show that whatever barriers are in the way, God gave all his children a universal language we can all understand...Love. -Bridget

When I was asked to write my testimony about what I have experienced on outreach, I had to pause and think... where did all these feelings for Gods children develop when did it all start?

has shown me that my life is meant for a greater purpose and in order for that greater purpose to be realized I must surrender everything to God. I must resign my ambitions, reason, and emotions to God because He is good and knows best. I also learned the power of Christs name. In the name of Jesus there is power to set people free, in ministry there is no reason to fear because

as Christians we operate under the authority of God. We are ambassadors of a much higher power, therefore we should strive to stay faithful to the message we have been given. God has challenged everything I thought I knew about faith and He has drawn me so much closer to Him... But He has also shown me how much I still need to learn. -Evan

The main thing that I have learned is self -sacrice. God

Since my time interning with JAM, the Lord has been opening so many doors to spread His name. While ministering in Prince Albert, the Lord opened the door for Him to speak truth into several high school girls lives through me. Throughout my time there, I learned that many of them

were burdened with an abusive home life and were wrestling with who they were in Christ. The enemy had crippled them with fear of never being loved and their feeling of inadequacy hindered them from praying. But the Lord kept reminding me that He is our rst love (Rev 4:2) and that there's no sin or circumstance as followers of Christ that can separate us from Him (Romans 8:37-39). We wrestled through difficult mountains they were facing and prayed healing over their families. The girls even helped me continue to pray over the younger children! God really showed up and lled them

with His Spirit of love, forgiveness, worth, and security that only He can provide. He can never love us more or less than He already does, no good deed or awesome prayer will change His unending, unfailing love for you and I. Any goodness, love, or kindness that JAM has toward the young people of South Africa is only Christ love shining through us. us. I have huge expectations for what Christ is going to continue to do through JAM in the coming outreaches! What an honor it is to serve The Lord! -Molly
