Dont Miss Your Chance to Bless and Be Blessed...The Needs are Many Prayer GUIDE for 60 Days of Passionate Prayer
(7 to be listed each week) 15 Women take on leadership roles in associational WMU. You are faithful, Father, to provide a willingness among theses women to serve You beyond their churches. Thank You for them. (Lift up the names of these women.) 16 Thank You, Lord, for groupings of churches called associations. Guide the work of my association and my director of missions, ____________, as we work together for the missions cause. 17 How grateful I am, Lord, that there are women and men who are willing to lead our WMU missions organizations (Mission Friends, GA, RA, Children in Action, Acteens, Challengers, Youth on Mission, myMISSION, Women on Mission, Adults on Mission and Families on Mission). Thank You for the foundations they shape in willing lives. (Pray by name for WMU organization leaders in your church.) 18 Thank You, Lord, for the ministry of summer missions camping. May these be times for children and youth to center on You. Guide their moments away from outside distractions to focus on Your call to them. 19 We are humbled and sometimes fearful that You ask us to address the critical issues that face people every day. They are far beyond our understanding. Equip us to know how to infuse Your love in situations that seem too hard for us. 20 Father, bring our nation to its knees before You. Renew us as Christians spiritually. Confront those who dont know You with Your strong love. 21 Father, may we realize that the success of missions and our prayers are linked together (Annie Armstrong). Remind me to pray often.

Bible Quiz Fifty days after the Resurrection, a number of people who believed that Jesus was the long-awaited Christ gathered in a Jerusalem home. Suddenly, a sound like a violent wind filled the house and something like tongues of fire rested on each person. They became filled with the Holy Spirit and their faces glowed with holiness. They began to utter other languages that the Spirit had given them the sudden ability to speak. It was an uncanny occurrence, one which the church recalls with awe and appreciation every Pentecost. In a way, the unique and powerful experience was the birthday of the church. So many people were filled with the Spirit that their enthusiasm and charisma influenced a large number of other people to become Christians that very day. On that day how many people devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and fellowship? A. 2,000 B. 3,000 C. 4,000 D. 5,000 The answer can be found in Acts 2:41.

A little girl attending her first wedding was impressed with the lovely white gown the bride was wearing. After a while, she whispered to her mother, Why is the bride dressed in white? Bending down and whispering softly in the childs ear, she answered, Because white is the color of happiness. The child then glanced over at the groom and the groomsmen in their black tuxedos. She whispered again, Mom, why is the groom dressed in black? Shouldnt he be happy, too?
On mission to glorify Jesus Christ and reach people for the family of God.
