Dear Friend,

Thank you for honoring us with your presence at this historic, largest-ever animal
rights conference that will help shape the future of our movement.
The Animal Rights National Conferences are dedicated to the vision that Animals have
the right to live free from all forms of human exploitation. Yet, we recognize that there
are multiple paths, missions, strategies, and tactics for advancing that vision.
Thus, a key mission of our Conferences is to provide a forum where the relative
merits of these paths, missions, strategies, and tactics may be aired and discussed in
an atmosphere of mutual respect. We view such discussions as critical to advancing
the vision of animal rights.

Other key Conference missions include:
Exposing animal abuses for food, research, amusement, and more
Training attendees in personal growth and organizing
Ofering opportunities to network with activists & recharge our batteries
Providing a forum to potential movement leaders
Reaching out to kindred movements
Farm Animal Rights Movement (FARM) has been organizing these Conferences since
1981. This years co-sponsors include Ady Gil World Conservation, Alley Cat Allies,
Animal Concerns of Texas, A Well-Fed World, Compassion Over Killing, E-Magazine, The
Humane League, In Defense of Animals, Intl Primate Protection League, Kinship Circle,
Mercy For Animals, Tofurky, White Coat Waste Project, and Whole Earth Wellness.
We are grateful to our speakers, exhibitors, and food and prize donors who make this
conference possible, and of course, to each of you for making the efort to attend.
Our Conferences have presented a life-changing experience for a number of people
who lead our movement today. We hope that AR2013 will similarly beneft each of you.
Sincerely,
Alex Hershaft Jen Riley Michael Webermann

Every year the
government wastes
over $12 billion of
your tax dollars on
animal experiments
that would shock and
sicken you.
As Congress
wrestles with
spending priorities,
youve got to ask

want my money spent?
Weird Science?
The White Coat Waste Project
exposes and eliminates the
waste, fraud, and abuse in the
governments taxpayer-funded
animal experimentation budget.
Join us today to clean up the
waste and save lives.
