Periodic Table Mnemonic -Learn The Periodic Table (Major System and Substitute Words)
This article attempts to answer the big questions like periodic table mnemonic , how to memorize p eriodic table or how to learn the periodic tab le . I will make an attempt to solve this challenging puzzle (considering there are 118 elements in periodic table and its a daunting task) by applying major system and substitute words or mnemonic words. As of today, there are 118 elem ents in the periodic ta ble.

For example, how can you remember the meta l Flourine unless it is associated with some thing. Stand a lone flourine doesnt make any sense but how about assigning a substitute word lik e flower rain and you will easily remember it. Flower rain sounds like flourine! Now that you have learnt the major system, let us move to the final step where we will combine both substitute words and ma jor system to finally lea rn the periodic table. What we will do here is very simple. Associate the number peg with the corresponding substitute word of the corresponding element using linking system. Congratu lations on reaching this far! You a re just one step from memorizing the periodic table in order.The final step is very simple; associating the number pegs with the substitute words. Let me give you an example: The peg for number 1 is tie and the first element in the

periodic table is Hydrogen and its substitute word is hide Trojan. Now simply

associate tie

with hide T rojan. Imagine thousands of ties hiding inside a Trojan horse! Yes, it is as simple as that! One pointer. Make the association a s ridiculous and illogica l as possible and add emotion and make them sexual. So how does it work? Simple. Number one is tie and tie reminds you of Ties Hiding inside the Trojan Horse and hide Trojan is hydrog en ! Now we will do it for all 118 elements. Sounds like a daunting task but its all worth t he trouble. To make your life easy, I have created a pdf file with all the details. Put in a little effort to litera lly see the mental images in your minds eye. Go through the whole list at least 3 times and come back to the material, say after 6 hours and read it once more. Then come back after a day and check your pro gress.
