Bible tells parents to train your children in the ways of the Lord Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. Proverbs 22:6 If you want everything to go well with your children you have to obey the Lord's rules Be careful to obey all these regulations I am giving you, so that it may always go well with you and your children after you, because you will be doing what is good and right in the eyes of the LORD your God. Deuteronomy 12:28 If you do not discipline your children carefully, it means you hate them He who spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is careful to discipline him. Proverbs 13:24 Children are very special-a crown to their parents Children's children are a crown to the aged, and parents are the pride of their children. Proverbs 17:6 Children are blessed The righteous man leads a blameless life; blessed are his children after him. Proverbs 20:7 Children are known by what they do whether it is good or bad Even a child is known by his actions, by whether his conduct is pure and right. Children are your reward from the Lord Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him. Matthew 18:4 When you welcome a child in Jesus Christ's name you welcome Jesus And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me. Matthew 18:5 If you teach children to sin-it would be better for you to be drowned in the sea But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. Matthew 18:6 The Kingdom of heaven belongs to children. You should not hinder your children. Matthew 19:14 The disciples tried to stop people from bringing children to Jesus People were bringing little children to Jesus to have him touch them, but the disciples rebuked them. Mark 10:13 Jesus blesses children And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them.Mark 10:16 Jesus tells the disciples to let the children come to Him because the kingdom of God belongs to children When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Mark 10:14 If you do not receive the kingdom of God like a child you will not go to heaven I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." Mark 10:15 Parents should train and instruct their children about the Lord, not exasperate their children while they are doing it Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord. Ephesians 6:4 Father's do not provoke your children to wrath Father's provoke not your children to wrath.. Eph. 6:4 KJV
