Also on Friday there will be no 9.30am Mass at Our Lady of Peace, Mass will be at 7.30pm in St Gilberts, as it is the First Friday of the month. Morning Prayer is prayed before every weekday Mass and the Rosary is prayed after Mass: all are welcome to join us. CATHOLIC WOMENS LEAGUE The next CWL meeting is on Monday 1 st July at 7:30 pm it will be their annual fish and chip supper and this year will be held in the Presbytery Garden, weather permitting (inside if not). Friends and visitors are most welcome. You can just turn up on the night as we order once we have all arrived, or contact Sue on 01628 661556. PARISH FAITH FORMATION As part of the Year of Faith, Fr Andy is hosting evenings based upon the CaFE (Catholic Faith Exploration) compilation DVD produced for the Year of Faith. The next session which will be on The Poor, will be on Thursday 4 th July, and will run from 7.30pm9.00pm at Our Lady of Peace. Further sessions will be on The Bible, The Church and The New Evangelisation. All are welcome to come along for a bit of faith input (each DVD session runs for around 40mins) in a relaxed environment (with plenty of time for drinks, nibbles and chat following the DVD)! 20TH ANNUAL NORES LECTURE on Friday, 5th July at 7.30pm at Holy Ghost Parish Centre, 33 Wesbourne Road, Luton, LU4 8JD. The New Evangelisation the Churchs mission to proclaim the Gospel; reaching out to Baptised Catholics who have become distant from the faith. The Rt Rev Kieran Conry, Bishop of Arundel and Brighton is leading the lecture. All are very welcome, the lecture is followed by Evening Prayer and Refreshments. This meeting is for parents who have already had a child Baptised and have attended a previous Baptism Preparation Course, and wish to have their child Baptised over the next few months. The next course for first time parents which Deacon Marek runs will be in September, more details will be given closer to the date. ST VINCENT DE PAUL NATIONAL PILGRIMAGE OF THE SICK to Walsingham, on Sunday, 7th July. The coach departs St Ethelberts at 7.30am, or Holy Family at 7.45am, and returns approximately 9.00pm. CATHOLIC WOMENS LEAGUE The Burnham Section of the Catholic Womens League will be selling good quality handbags, gardening books and cookery books at Burnham Carnival on Saturday, 13th July. We would be very grateful for any donations. Please leave bags, clearly labeled For CWL in Our Lady of Peace Church porch, or bring them to our stall in the park on the day. Funds raised will be donated to the Thames Valley Air Ambulance. CATHOLIC RADIO Present's a unique evening. "Thanks to Pope Benedict" "Welcome to Pope Francis". Guest Catholic Singers, Choirs, Poets, Musician Jamie Mulgrew and Gerry Coats. Enjoy a special evening concert of original and traditional music, poetry and prayers. LIGHTHOUSE Burnham Lighthouse, the Christian run holiday club, will run from Monday, 29 th July to Friday, 2nd August. The craft team at Burnham Lighthouse are collecting the following items: Wool, Toilet roll and kitchen roll tubes, Cereal boxes, A4 coloured paper, A4 coloured card, Decorations, eg: stickers, sequins, glitters, etc. Please leave in the box in the Church porch.
