The Prospectuses issued in previous years are not valid for the year 2013. Candidates are required to go through the current prospectus carefully and acquaint themselves with all the relevant information relating to the admission process. They are also requested to visit the official website of the University www.mgu.ac.in for notification and announcements. This prospectus is subject to modification/addition/deletion as may be deemed necessary by the University.

Classification/Categorization of Seats: Seats available in Govt./Aided/Self-financing affiliated colleges and Self Financing programmes in Aided Colleges are mainly classified as Merit seats, Community seats (applicable only in aided colleges) and Management seats. (The list of institutions, the number of seats available etc are given in Annexure II)

1.1 Details of seats that come under the ambit of Centralised Allotment Process(CAP): i. Govt. Colleges: Total seats available in government colleges except seats under sports/cultural/PD Quota ii. Aided Colleges: Open quota seats, seats earmarked for SC/ST candidates iii. Unaided Colleges/ Unaided programmes conducted in Aided Colleges: 50% of the total seats including seats reserved for SC/ST/SEBC iv. Constituent Colleges directly controlled by the University: 90% of the total seats including seats reserved for SC/ST 1.2 The remaining seats under community quota (Aided Colleges only)/management quota (Aided and Unaided Colleges and Unaided Programmes conducted in Aided Colleges)/sports and cultural quota seats, seats reserved for persons with disabilities (PD) (all affiliated / constituent Colleges) and NRI/Staff quota seats (Constituent Colleges) shall be filled by the educational agency concerned. 2. 2.1 RESERVATION OF SEATS Types of Reservation: Out of the total Merit Seats available in Govt./Aided/Self Financing affiliated colleges for various UG Programmes, seats will be reserved for different categories under the following main items: i. ii. iii. iv. 2.1.1 Reservation for nominees Reservation for Persons with Disabilities Special Reservation and Mandatory Reservation

Reservation for Nominees: An additional seat for each programme in affiliated Arts and Science colleges shall be created exclusively for the purpose of accommodating students sponsored by the Union Territory of Lakshadweep. This seat shall not be filled up by other candidates. The Head of the institutions should forward the list of such candidates admitted, separately to the University, immediately after admissions (U.O. No. Ac.AI/3/2761/06 dated 20.7.2006). Such applicants should apply directly to the colleges concerned.

2.1.2 Reservation for Persons with Disabilities (PD): 3% of the seats are reserved for candidates with disabilities for all programmes. 1% (one percent of the seats in UG Programmes) of seats shall be reserved for each of the three sections of Persons with Disabilities category (Blind, Deaf and Orthopaedically Challenged) with provision for interchange of seats, if candidates are not available in a particular category in a year. The selection of candidates under this category will be based on the rank in the inter-se merit list and physical suitability, and not on the basis of the degree of disability. Person with disability means a person suffering from not less than 40% of any disability as certified by a Medical Board constituted for this purpose. Candidates who have a minimum of 40% disability alone will be eligible for this quota. A relaxation of 5% of marks in the qualifying examination from the prescribed minimum is allowed. Candidates seeking admission under PD category should attach with their application form, an attested copy of the Certificate of disability issued by a District Medical Board or bodies of higher status, certifying the degree or percentage of disability. No reservation of seats is allowed for Blind candidates for Science subjects. (The applicants under PD quota should apply directly to the colleges concerned). 2.1.3 Special Reservation: The seats reserved under Sports Quota and Cultural Quota come under this category. Such students should apply directly to the colleges concerned. They can also apply in CAP to be considered in the general allotment. 2.1.4 Sports quota: Two seats in each programme (Interchangeable) shall be reserved for candidates with outstanding records in sports & games. The applicant for admission to the reservation quota should have represented at least the District Sports Zone. Preference shall be given to Sportsmen who have represented the State/National School Meet over the sportsmen who have represented the District/School. The applicant shall produce the relevant certificate to prove District representation. The following guidelines shall be followed in determining merits in sports for admission to the UG programmes. 2.1.6. Reservation of seats under NRI Quota in Constituent Colleges:

5% of the total seats of each programme in Constituent Colleges shall be reserved for NRI candidates. Such candidates should apply directly to the Constituent Colleges concerned. 2.1.7 Reservation of seats under Staff Quota in Constituent Colleges: 5% of the total seats of each programme in Constituent Colleges shall be reserved for sons/daughters of University Employees. Such applicants shall apply directly to the Constituent Colleges concerned.

Sports/Cultural/NRI/PD/Staff quotas, the next eligible candidate in the Rank List shall be admitted. In case there is no next eligible candidate, the vacant seat shall be merged with the general merit quota.
3. 3.1 Mandatory Reservation : Government Colleges : Leaving the seats set apart for Persons with disabilities, the remaining seats for each programme will be distributed as per the G.O.(Ms) No.107/08/H.Edn dated 30.8.2008. Students should apply in CAP for admission in Govt. Colleges.

*For the limited purpose of reservation, under this category, candidates belonging to all those communities which do not enjoy communal reservation will be eligible. Candidates who wish to avail reservation under EBFC will have to produce the Certificate that they come under the Below Poverty Line (BPL) category of forward communities from the local bodies concerned and community certificate from the village offices. EBFC Category 10% of the total seats in govt colleges is reserved for applicants belonging to Economically Backward among Forward Communities (EBFC). For availing the benefit of reservation under this category. For admission to seats coming under merit category students should apply in CAP. The open quota seats in Govt/Aided/Unaided colleges will be filled purely on merit basis irrespective of the category/community to which the candidate belongs. 3.4 Constituent Colleges Owned and Controlled by the University: In Constituent Colleges Owned and Controlled by the University, 5% of the total seats shall be filled from among NRI candidates and 5% of the total seats shall be filled from among the sons and daughters of University Employees provided they satisfy the eligibility conditions. 4. CLAIMS FOR MANDATORY RESERVATION AND CERTIFICATES TO BE PRODUCED (i) Claims for Mandatory Reservations must be made by a candidate at the time of submission of application, with supporting documents as required. (ii) The claims for mandatory reservation once made in the Application form cannot be altered by the candidate under any circumstances. 4.1.1 Claim Backward Educationally contained to time. (a) Candidates belonging to Socially and Educationally Backward Classes as per G.O. (P) 208/66/Edn. dated 2.5.1966, whose annual family income (i.e. annual income of all members of the family from all sources taken together) is up to Rs.4.5 lakhs per annum (Rupees. Four lakhs and fifty thousand only per annum) are eligible for reservation under this category. The certificate should have been issued not earlier than 12 months prior to the submission of application. Only the claims of the candidates of those communities that are included in the list of communities appended in the Prospectus will be considered. (b) Candidates belonging to Ezhava, Muslim, Other backward Hindus, Latin Catholic other than Anglo Indians and Other backward Christian communities, claiming reservation under SEBC Quota should invariably produce both Community and Income Certificates obtained from the Village Officer concerned. The self attested copy of the above certificates should be attached with the application. Candidates whose annual family income is above Rs.4.5 lakhs are not eligible for reservation. The unfilled seats shall be filled on the basis of the merit as per the rank list from among the applicants of the backward minority community, which runs the college. If seats still remain unfilled, it will be filled as detailed at para 4.2.2. The College authorities should report such vacancies to the University within the stipulated time. 4.2.4 Claim of OEC candidates against the un-availed seats of SC/ST candidates: Other Eligible Community (OEC) candidates who claim allotment to the un-availed seats, if any, under SC/ST quota should furnish community and income certificates obtained from the Village Officer concerned. Those OEC candidates whose annual family income is up to Rs.4.5 lakhs alone are eligible for such seats. Candidates belonging to other eligible communities are exempted from payment of fee at the time of allotment to UG Degree Programmes under Government/Community quota irrespective of annual family income as per G.O (Ms) No.36/07/SCSTDD dated 03.07.2007. 5.1.9 Programmes Under Faculty of Commerce

5.2.0 Programmes under Management Sciences


a. b. Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA): A pass in Plus Two or equivalent examination or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto by this University Bachelor of Business Management (BBM): A pass in Plus two or equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate.

Second languages will be allotted at the time of admission by the college/institution concerned based on the preference of the candidate and availability at the college without incurring any additional financial commitment on the part of the Govt/University and without any change in the existing staff pattern of the department concerned.

5.2.1 a) Preparation of Rank List The Rank List shall be prepared on the basis of ranking marks arrived at as follows: Handicap of Five marks for every successive attempt after the first attempt subject to a maximum of twenty marks will be deducted from the total marks in the case of those who have taken two or more chances to complete the examination. The number of chances means the number of chances taken for passing any part of the qualifying examination after the prescribed programme period. Appearance for improvement of marks shall not be considered as an additional chance. No handicap marks for SAY pass outs be imposed if admitted in the same academic year but five marks shall be deducted if he/she is ranked in the admission list of the succeeding year. Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination under SAY scheme or such supplementary scheme are eligible to apply for first year programme in the same academic year, but they have to produce the mark lists on or before the closing date of admission as notified by the university.

5.2.2 b) Resolving of Tie


If the index marks of more candidates happened to be the same, then for breaking the tie the following criteria shall be followed one after another in the order given below: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. The candidate who has scored higher marks in the concerned elective subject shall be places senior in the rank list. For B Com programme Business Studies (Commerce) shall be considered as the Elective subject. The candidate who has scored higher marks for Part III subjects (or the Subjects other than languages, if part is not specified) taken together shall be placed senior in the rank list. The candidate who has scored higher marks in Part I (English if Part is not specified) shall be placed senior in the ranklist. The candidate who has scored higher marks in Part II (Second Language if Part is not specified) shall be placed senior in then ranklist. By giving residential weightage (at District/State Levels) Preference shall be given to candidates who are elder, and the age difference shall be calculated in completed years only, rounding down fractions. (As candidates having difference in age less than one year happens to be admitted in the same class)

5.2.3 BONUS MARKS


The Bonus Marks will be awarded as follows: 1. Bonus of 15 marks shall be awarded to applicants with NCC or NSS Certificates at plus two level for admission to all programmes. In respect of NCC candidates, the bonus marks will be awarded on the basis

of NCC Certificates signed by the Director and issued by the Directorate of NCC to candidates who have secured al least 75% attendance after having participated in its activities during the programme of study immediately preceding the programme for which admission is sought. An additional bonus mark of 3 will be given to A Certificate holders, 5 marks to B Certificate holders and 5 marks to C Certificate holders in proof of their high proficiency. 2. In respect of NSS candidates, the bonus marks will be awarded on the basis of NSS Certificates issued by the competent authority. 3. Bonus of 15 marks shall be awarded to the Ex-servicemen applicants and widows and children of Jawans and Ex-servicemen seeking admission to the Degree Programmes. Applicants to this category should invariably produce along with the application form an attested copy of certificate issued not earlier than six months from the last date of submission of application from the military authorities or state/Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer to the effect that he/she is the son/daughter of ex service man or an ex service man himself/herself. a. The benefit of bonus marks can be scored by a candidate only under one category i.e., either NSS or NCC. b. Bonus marks shall be added only if the candidate has obtained the prescribed minimum qualifying marks in the qualifying examination while calculating the index marks. 5.3 INDEXING OF MARKS i) FACULTY OF LANGUAGE & LITERATURE 1. Index marks shall be calculated as mentioned at clauses 5.2 and 5.3. But the marks obtained for vocational subjects in VHSE/THSE, etc. are to be excluded while calculating index marks. 6. CENTRALISED ALLOTMENT PROCESS (CAP) The applicants need submit only a single application form for applying online for admission to all the UG Degree Programmes in various affiliated colleges for considering them in the Open/Reservation Quota except sports quota/cultural quota/Lakshdweep quota, staff quota in the constituent colleges of the University and Persons with Disabilities (PD) quota. If a candidate submits more than one application his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled. The candidates seeking admission through community merit/management quota/ sports quota/cultural quota/Lakshadweep quota, staff quota in the constituent colleges of the University and PD quota should submit separate applications directly to the institutions concerned. The above candidates can also apply under the Centralised Allotment Process, if they are to be considered for general allotment in which case selection will be based on merit/communal quota. Application Fee: The application fee will be as follows: For All candidates except SC/ST For SC/ST candidates : ` 150/: ` 80/-

Remittance of Fee and Submission of Applications: Submission of application i.e. registration of personal and academic data as well as options for programmes and colleges shall be done on-line. Before submitting the application form, candidates are advised to verify the details of academic programmes in a college including hostel facilities through the website of affiliated colleges, in addition to the information given in the prospectus published by the University. Before selecting a programme the applicant shall satisfy himself/herself that he/she possess the prescribed qualification for applying for the programme. 6.1 Steps for On-line Registration 1. For online registration of personal and academic data, the candidates must visit the web site, www.mgu.ac.in and click on the link Admission to UG Degree Programmes 2013-2014. 2. Follow the online instructions and fill in the personal details in the relevant fields provided. 3. Create a Password. (The password is mandatory for all future online operations). The password created by the candidate should not be disclosed to others who may misuse it. This may result in tampering with the options and the University will not be responsible for any such eventuality.

4. Generate a Chalan print out. The Chalan bears an Application number. The application number will have to be used by the candidate for all future online and offline operations. 5. Approach the nearest SBT branch enlisted in the CAP portal along with the Chalan print out and remit the required fee. 6. After remitting the fee, collect the chalan copies from bank (Student copy and University copy). Only after completing this step, will the Application Number and password get activated. Activation may take some time. 7. Go to the login Panel in MGU CAP Web Portal and Use the activated Application Number as user name and the previously used password for Login. 8. Fill in the Application form with personal details, academic eligibility and the options correctly. 9. Verify with the relevant documents and confirm the details entered on-line. 10. After satisfying himself/herself that the details entered are correct, the applicants shall press the Final Submission Button. Special attention: After pressing final submission button, further modification of data (except options) is not possible. Hence, make double sure that all entries are made correctly before pressing final submission button. 11. Take the print out of filled up application for final submission to the University. 12. Submit the duly signed application along with self attested copies of the necessary documents to Assistant Registrar (Acad II), CAP CELL, MG University, PD Hills, Kottayam, PIN: 686560 by ordinary post or in person. Applications sent through Speed Post/Registered Post /Courier etc. shall not be accepted The applicant can check his/her application status online using their User id (application number) and password at any stage after online registration. 6.2. 6.2.1 Procedure for Online Registration of options. All options for which the candidate is eligible will be displayed on the Home Page. The candidate may follow the directions given therein to register the options. The data entered should be saved regularly by clicking the save button, so that the data already entered is not lost due to unexpected technical reasons. The candidate should enter only those options in which he/she is interested. Candidate should also note that he /she will be considered for allotment only to those programmes and colleges opted by him / her. So a candidate who has not opted for a particular programme-college combination will not be considered for allotment for that combination. Existing options, registered by the candidate and available in the home page can be cancelled by clicking the delete button. All options registered by the candidate will be processed. If a candidate gets allotted to a particular seat, based on his / her option, he /she is bound to accept it, failing which, he /she will lose that allotment as well as his /her claims for any seats in any stream. Such candidates will not be eligible for any further allotment in any stream. The options for college(s) and programme(s) can be done while submitting online registration of personal and academic

data or subsequently within the last date of submission of application. granted for registering options under any circumstances. The steps involved in registering options are summarized below : Accessing the website Logging on to the candidates Home Page Registering of Options Saving the Options registered Submitting the Option registered Viewing the list of Options registered Logging off from the Home page. 6.2.2 The options in the home page of the candidate at the time specified for closing of registration of options alone will be considered for processing. Once the candidate completes the option entry, he/she can view his/ her options by clicking on the View Option List provided. An option list will be generated and the candidate can take a print out of the same and keep it for future reference. If the candidate wants to change his/her options already registered, he/she may revise the options as desired and should see that the options are listed as per his/her priority. 6.2.3 Processing of options, Publication of Rank list and Trial Allotment The application details as entered by the candidate will be published for verification by the candidates. Candidates will have the provision to modify option details even at this stage. Rank list shall be prepared on the basis of the ranking marks arrived at as per the rules in this regard. The trial allotment will be conducted to give the applicants an idea about the chances of getting allotment to a programme and college based on the options, merit and the reservation norms. The trial allotment does not guarantee that the candidate will get allotment in a college or programme of his/her choice for ranks may vary in the actual allotment subject to data modification by the applicants after the trial allotment. 6.2.4 First Allotment: After the Trial Allotment and the period earmarked for rearranging options, the first Allotment list will be published on the date to be notified. For the selected candidates a provisional Allotment Memo will be displayed in the website and the candidate shall take a print out of the same to be produced in the bank for remitting the required fee. The allotment memo will show the personal details, the college and the programme to which the candidate is allotted and the fee to be remitted. 6.2.5 Remittance of Fee: The prescribed fee due to the University will have to be remitted by the candidate to the account specified by the University in any designated branch of State Bank of Travancore as enlisted in Annexure -III as per the time schedule prescribed. Once the candidate remits the prescribed fee, the bank will acknowledge the receipt of the fee by affixing the seal on the students copy of the allotment memo. 6.2.6 SC/ST candidates, who get allotment, shall remit a token amount of Rs.50/- as detailed above. No extension of time will be

The payment of fees through any other mode of remittance will not be accepted.

6.2.7 Those candidates who do not remit the fee on or before the date specified, will lose their current allotment as well as the eligibility for participating in the further allotments. 6.2.8 If a candidate is satisfied with an allotment and does not want to be considered again for further allotment(s), he/she must cancel all the remaining higher options. A candidate retaining all or any of his/her higher options after an allotment, is bound to accept the next allotment, if any, failing which he/she will lose the previous allotment as well as the new allotment. He/She will not be considered for any further allotments. 6.3 Mode of re-arrangement/deletion of options: Existing options registered by candidate, available in the Home Page, can be deleted by clicking the delete button. Preference of options can be changed within the notified period by clicking the rearrange options button, entering the preference number against that particular option and by clicking the Update button. To change the preference of an existing option, the new preference number should be entered in the box against the corresponding option and the Update button clicked. The other options (except the one changed) will be automatically re-numbered and displayed. Deleting/Changing of preference of options must be done one at a time, each time clicking the Update button. It will not be possible to make a further change without clicking the update button after any deletion or reordering. 6.3.1 The facility for deletion/re-arrangement of options will be available during the specified period only. 6.4 Second/Further Allotments and Remittance of Fee :

6.4.1. The Second/Further Allotment list will be published as per the schedule issued by the University. 6.5 Other rules related to allotment 6.5.1. If a candidate gets allotted to a particular programme and college, based on his/her option, he/she shall report/join the programme, failing which, he/she will lose that allotment and will not be considered for any further allotments. 6.5.2. Candidates will not be allotted to a College/Programme, not opted by them. 6.5.3. A candidate is bound to accept an allotment as per the priority of options registered. If he/she gets allotment in the subsequent phase, based on higher options against arising/future vacancy, he/she has to relinquish the seat already occupied by him/her. 6.5.4 Any request to retain a previous allotment after a subsequent allotment (based on the higher options registered) will not be considered under any circumstances.

7. POST ALLOTMENT ACTIVITIES

7.1. Reporting at the College for admission: All students who get allotment should report for

admission at the college concerned after remitting the requisite fee in the bank. Those who fail to do this will be treated as Not Joined and further claim for admission by these applicants will not be entertained. The candidates should produce the following documents in original before the Principal/Head of the college/institution at the time of admission. (i) (ii) (iii) (iv) (v) (vi) The Allotment Memo received online. Receipt of fee remitted in the bank. Certificate to prove date of birth. Transfer Certificate (TC) from the Institution last attended and Conduct Certificate. Marklists of all parts of the Plus Two / equivalent examination. Eligibility Certificate from Mahatma Gandhi University, in the case of candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from other Boards/Institutes/governments, except CBSE/CISCE (vii) (viii) (ix) Migration Certificate, if applicable. Caste certificate in the case of SC/ST candidates. Any other documents required to produced by the Head of Institution. Community Certificate along with income certificate from the revenue authorities concerned to the effect that annual family income of all members of family from all sources taken together is less than Rs. 4.5 lakhs in the case of SEBC candidates who claim reservation under SEBC category. The income certificate should not have been issued earlier than 12 months prior to the submission of application. (x) Community Certificate along with the relevant certificate from the revenue authorities concerned to the effect that they come under the Below Poverty Line (BPL) category of forward communities in the case of candidates who wish to avail of reservation under EBFC. (xi) Candidates who wish to avail of bonus/weightage of marks shall produce the relevant certificates. The college authorities, after verifying the above documents, shall admit the candidate and make necessary updations in the admission portal. The students who get admission in their first option should remit the fee applicable to the course in the institution at the time of admission. Those students who decide to seek permanent admission by cancelling the higher options also shall remit the fee in the institution. Those who retain higher options need not pay any fee in the institution at the time of admission. However, in the second allotment, they should remit the fee applicable to the programme secured in the higher option (except SC/ST candidates) and join the college, and if not secured they should remit the fee applicable to the programme secured in the previous option. certificates of all the admitted students shall be kept in the respective institutions. On getting allotment in a higher option, the student should get the certificates back from the institution without remitting any fee and submit the same to the newly allotted institution. Confirmation of Allotment As the allotment is based on the information furnished by the candidate online, the eligibility should be confirmed at the time of admission. The admission should be done on-line through the panel
provided by the University by ensuring the correctness of the candidate details. The principal/Head of the

college/institution should verify the details furnished in the allotment memo in respect of the candidate by comparing the same with the original documents produced by the candidate. Any discrepancy which results in the invalidation of the allotment should be reported to the University and admission should be denied in such cases. The principal/Head of the college/institution shall be personally responsible for ensuring the correctness of the relevant details in online application by verifying it with original records produced by the candidate. The University will also verify the records produced by the candidates who got admission in due course and any discrepancy detected will lead to the cancellation of the allotment. A Special Allotment will be conducted for SC/ST candidates. SC/ST candidates who secure allotment through CAP and wish to retain their higher options will be permitted to take provisional admission in all allotments upto the special allotment.

7.2.

Verification of Documents. The Principal/Head of the Institution shall be personally responsible for verification of original documents and satisfaction of the correctness of the records produced by the candidate at the time of seeking admission in the College/institution. If any discrepancies are noted in the online data and the original records, the allotment will be cancelled. The University will also verify the records produced by the candidates who got admission in due course. Any lapse on the part of the Head of the Institution with regard to the irregular admission shall be viewed seriously (Circular No. Ac AI/3/2114/2008 dated 06/11/2008). Cancellation of Higher Options after joining a College: Candidates who join the college on the date specified can cancel their remaining options fully or partially or change the priority of their remaining options before the date specified. A candidate, not interested in any further allotments, must cancel all his/her options before the specified date, failing which, the options will remain live and will be considered for further allotments, if any.

8 8.1. 8.2. SEAT ALLOTMENT PROTOCOL Admission & Allotment in Colleges: Allotment of seats in all colleges will be

college/institution wise. Allotment in Colleges to Candidates with multiple claims under Mandatory Quota: All candidates included in the Rank lists are eligible for allotment under State Merit (SM). Candidates might be entitled for other reservation quotas also under Mandatory Reservation. For example, a candidate may have the benefit of SEBC reservation (EZ/MU/OBH/LC/OBX) or Scheduled Caste (SC) or Scheduled Tribe (ST) claim. The seats will be offered on the hierarchy of quotas. The hierarchy in order is as follows: (i) State Merit (SM) All candidates included in the Rank Lists are eligible for allotment under State Merit. (ii) Communal Reservation (SEBC/SC/ST). A candidate without SEBC/SC/ST reservation benefit will be considered only against the State Merit seats wherever available at the time of allotment. 9. FEE 9.1. 9.2 Fee for the various programmes in Government/Aided/Self Financing Colleges for the admission to 2013 batch will be available in the University web site.

If a candidate remits the fee due to the University on securing allotment and reports to the college allotted and subsequently secures allotment to another programme/college due to higher option, he/she need not remit the fee again. Similarly, a candidate who secures allotment through CAP and subsequently joins the same or another college/programme, he /she need not remit the fee due to the University again.

9.3.

Candidates belonging to SC/ST communities allotted against merit seats or against the seats reserved for them are exempted from payment of fee. Candidates belonging to OEC admitted against merit seats or against the un-availed seats of SC/ST are exempted from payment of fee (As per G.O.(Ms) No.14/2005/SCSTDD dated 5.4.2005 & G.O.(Ms) No.36/07/SCSTDD dated 03.07.2007). Candidates belonging to OEC admitted to Government seats through SEBC reservation are also exempted from payment of fee. (As per G.O. (Ms) No.50/2006/SCSTDD dated 22.09.2006).

9.3.

Claim for fee concession to OEC Candidates : Candidates belonging to Other Eligible Communities (OEC) are exempted from payment of fee at the time of allotment to Under Graduate Programmes under Government/Community quota irrespective of annual family income as per G.O.(Ms) No.36/07/SCSTDD dated 03.07.2007. They should provide Community Certificate from the Village Officer along with the Application Form, in order to avail this benefit.

9.4. SC/ST/OEC candidates will have to pay the Caution Deposit as per rules.

9.5 Students who get admitted on higher option at a different institution/programme mode will be eligible for refund/adjustment of fees paid at the institution/Programme Mode they leave.
