.. Your Excellency the governor of Uttaradit Province, Executive administrators, art instructors, all international delegation artists, honorable guests, ladies, and gentlemen: On behalf of the organizing committee, I would like to express my deepest gratitude in presenting to you the auspicious ceremony of The 12th Annual Art Exhibition and Workshop of the Lanna Art Instructors, Thailand and the 1st Relationship Establishment for the integration of the ASEAN Community, 2013. The art exhibition of art instructors in the Northern Region or Lanna has been continuously organized for 11 years and this year, the 12th of this event is held on the 3rd February 2013 at Memorial Art Gallery of Uttaradit Rajabhat University. This is evinced to the potential of creativity through arts and the willingness of art instructors towards the society. The aesthetic value of arts beneficially motivates the way of peoples lives. In this occasion, it is our privilege that pieces of arts created by Thai and International artists are new witnessed which testifies our readiness to ASEAN Community. All of 145 pieces of arts consists of paintings, sculptures and mixed media creations. The projects objectives are as followed; 1. to be a stage for art instructors to exchange their experiences and to develop their art skills to ASEAN Community, 2. to enhance art instructors abilities towards the standard of ASEAN and World Class,

3. to establish the relationship among local art instructors and artists in ASEAN Community, 4. to enhance the education of art from the basic to advanced level as well as to support the tourism and economy in local communities through art and cultural activities. Lastly, I would like to respectfully express my appreciation to all of the Thai national artists, executive administrators, Lanna art instructors, all international delegation artists as well as generous sponsors who have supported us to make this event successful. On this special occasion, I would like to invite your Excellency Mr. Chalermchai Feungkorn ( ), the Governor of Uttaradit Province to declare the opening of the ceremony.

Dear national and international artists, the president of Uttaradit Rajabhat University, executive administrators, distinguished and honored guests, ladies, and gentlemen: I am delighted and honored to be here for the official opening ceremony of the The 12th Annual Art Exhibition and Workshop of the Lanna Art Instructors, Thailand and the 1st Relationship Establishment for the integration of the ASEAN Community, 2013. On behalf of Uttaradit people, I would like to express a warm welcome to all artists from ASEAN community countries who have participated in this admirable event. Lanna art instructors, who brighten the aesthetic path, are extremely important to encourage, educate, and create a bright future to the youth. Creating this distinguished exhibition is a valuable event and it is very crucial to art and culture. With the growth of art and culture, it is considered an indication of civilization. Aesthetics is the key word to indicate the full development of human. It originated a perfect human and should be rooted in our minds, including our young generations. These young men will help transfer this value which will establish strong foundation in our community. Thus, it is admirable that this exhibition is held to be a stage for talented Thai national and International artists to share their experiences. I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the Uttaradit Rajabhat University and the exhibition organizers who have devoted themselves in initiating this valuable activity which prompts our community for ASEAN and ultimately to the world-class standard.
