Cari Kindl to Headline the Saturday in the Park July Concert Event Hosted by the Downtown Tallahassee Business Association & Tallahassee Downtown Improvement Authority
Tallahassee, Fla. The Downtown Tallahassee Business Association (DTBA) and the Tallahassee Downtown Improvement Authority (TDIA) will host the fourth jazz concert in their 2013 Saturday in the Park Concert Series TOMORROW, Saturday, July 6, 2013, from 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. EDT in Ponce de Leon Park, Tallahassee. Headlining this months event will be Cari Kindl. The Saturday in the Park Concert Series is free and open to the public. Cari Eden Kindl, formerly Carrie Edenfield, began writing and performing at an early age. Following the release of an album with her first band in 2001, she returned to her solo roots and has licensed her songs to Independent Film and television, as well as producing an album as a singer-songwriter and instrumentalist, The Amazing Nowhere Girl. Cari released her latest solo album, Superficial Journey in 2012 and is currently working on another with a working title of Broken Down Palace. She will perform with sensational Lead Guitarist John Metcalf, veteran Larry Garrett of the J Collins Band, and smooth Tallahassee Bassist Al Chip Mikell.
