several committees and served as 1st Vice President and Chair of several Committees upon transferring to the DeKalb Section. In all, Rhonda has been an active member of the NCNW for over 23 years. The purpose of the NCNW organization is to be an "umbrella of organizations that would represent the national and international concerns of black women." The NCNW also "gives black women the opportunity to realize their goals for social justice and human rights through united, constructive action."

Recent Activities of our Sister NCNW Sections School Supplies in Valdosta-Lowndes & Hat-titude and Tea in DeKalb
The Education Committee of the NCNW of Valdosta-Lowndes donated school supplies on May 10th to Lomax Pinevale Elementary School on Howell Road. This initiative was supported by both the education committee within the organization and NCNW members who donated school supplies & monetary contributions to make the school supply initiative a success.
