other things include the following: Teranometers for groundwater assessment and exploration studies Small scale water supply pumps Small scale water tanks Pipes of different material: PVC, uPVC, HDPE, GI Pipes, Asbestos pipes, CI pipes, etc. Different fixtures including: elbows, reducers, increasers, Tees, Yyes, traps, etc. Sediment samplers Constant head and varying head permeameters Water siting equipment (e.g electrical resistivity meters) Water level meters Hand held GPS sets, Differential equipment and related survey equipment Measuring tapes, Vernier calipers, and related equipment Stop watches Water flow meters for streamflow measurements Portable hydraulic structures such as weirs, flumes, etc. Several water network appurtenances such non-return valves, air relief valves, manometers, etc. Water quality equipment such as Portalab, Handheld Multi-parameter meters, DO meters, Conductivity meters, Small scale hydropower turbines Small scale hydro-electric generators Bailers Automated Hydro-met station for real-time data capturing Fully furnished rainfall/weather station Fully furnished streamflow gauging stations for UNZA Soil Erodibility testing equipment Different modelling software e.g MODFLOW, EPANET, EPA SWMM, MIKE11, MIKE SHE, SWAT, HEC-HMS, WEAP, Mike 21C, CCHE2D, Fluent, SWAN etc. A lot of Computers for teaching students on modelling and hydrological data processing Test circuits and measurement equipment 3 test flumes for physical modeling/ Four narrow glass wall flumes 2 sediment transport test flumes suspended load test reservoir laboratory canals for physical modelling

1.0 m wide flume equipped with a wave generator. (e.g. able to generate a maximum wave height of 200 mm) One wide tilting glass wall flume (e.g. 0.6 m deep by 2.0 m wide by 12 m long) for flow experiments. Six supply pumps (e.g. a total capacity of approximately 600 l /s) with pipe and channel reticulation system and three constant head tanks. One 6 m wide wave generator for experiments in a wave basin with 0.3 m water depth.
