Introduction
In mobile communication, it is inevitable that micro-cell coverage cannot cover weak or dead zones; to use signal repeater is a good choice in these areas. This mini repeater is mainly applied in covering small blind and weak zones. C10H-GSM consumer repeater is a good choice for VIP rooms, offices, houses, restaurants, apartments, parking, etc. C10H-GSM consumer repeater enhances consumer satisfaction greatly with its integrated design, compact size, easy engineering and rapid installation and debugging,

Feature & Functions Compact design and light weight, cost effectiveness LED indication for operation status. Wide band function to work on all GSM900 network Low power consumption, Low interference. Applicable to In-Building with medium or small size with Maximum coverage up to 500 Square meters, such as VIP room, office, house, restaurants, apartments, parking...

DIP Switch 1, 2,3 and 4 are for high frequency gain control, DCS, PCS or WCDMA systems; 1 and 2 are for DL2, 3 and 4 are for UL2 DIP Switch 5, 6, 7 and 8 are for low frequency gain control, GSM or CDMA systems; 5 and 6 are for DL1, 7 and 8 are for UL1

Dial DIP 1, 10dB attenuation for DL 2 Dial DIP 2, 5 dB attenuation for DL 2 Dial DIP 1 and 2, 182 dB attenuation for DL2 Dial DIP 3, 10 dB attenuation for UL2 Dial DIP 4, 5 dB attenuation for UL2 Dial DIP 3 and 4, 182 dB attenuation for UL2

Dial DIP 5, 10 dB attenuation for DL 1 Dial DIP 6, 5 dB attenuation for DL 1 Dial DIP 5 and 6, 182 dB attenuation for DL1 Dial DIP 7, 10 dB attenuation for UL 1 Dial DIP 8, 5 dB attenuation for UL 1 Dial DIP 7 and 8, 182 dB attenuation for UL 1

Note: A. As C10H series consumer repeater is designed for both single and dual band ones, so if i ts a single band repeater, for example GSM900 one, you just need to dial DIP 5,6, 7 or 8 t o adjust, DIP 1, 2, 3 and 4 are for high frequency, just like DCS, PCS or WCDMA. Also, i f there is any alarm happened, just the light of Alarm Low will be indicated, Alarm High is for high frequency systems. B. When the light of Alarm Low or Alarm High is indicated, the followings is for you to a nalyse and decide what to do and how to do: a. While the light glitters between green orange, it means the input power is perfect now. b. While the light shines orange, it means the input power is 1~5dB over the perfect one, bu t is OK for repeater to work, you dont need to do any adjustment. c. While the light shines red, it means the input power is 7~12dB over the perfect one, now you should dial the DIP to lower the input power of the repeater for it could work safely.

Repeater
The repeater amplifies and transmits signals of the base station in the desired area.

Outdoor ANT
The outdoor antenna connects to the Outdoor Port on the repeater.

PWR
Exterior adapter having AC 95-265 V input, supplies DC 9 V power to the repeater to run active circuits.

DC Jack
DC Jack is a terminal to supply required powers into repeater through the power supply adapter.

Indoor Antenna
Indoor Antenna transmits the RF signal from base station to the cellular subscriber and receives the signal from cellular subscriber back to the base station. The indoor antenna, or transmitting antenna, connects to the Indoor Port of the repeater.

RG8X Low Loss RF Cable

RG8X RF Coax Cable is supplied to connect the Indoor unit to the outdoor donor antenna.

Mounting Bracket
Bracket with screws is supplied for fixing the indoor repeater to a wall.

Checking the contents supplied Identify a suitable location where you would like mount the indoor repeater Ensure the location is properly isolated from the donor antenna and the cable length supplied is sufficient. Locate a suitable location for the outdoor donor antenna and identify a route for the feeding cable. Measurement of Receiving Level from Base Station (For trained personnel)

1) Connect feeding cable, which has been connected to the outdoor antenna for base station, with input of spectrum analyzer. 2) Set measurement environment of Frequency, Span, BW and Amplitude, etc of the spectrum analyzer. 3) Verify Channel Power value of input signal.
Receiving level is: - 45dBm ~ - 40dBm -46dBm ~ - 55dBm -56dBm ~ - 65dBm -66dBm ~ - 90dBm -91dBm ~ - 100dBm Perfect Good General Acceptable Bad

Measurement of Receiving Level from Base Station (For Anyone)

A low-tech way to determine where to install your outdoor donor antenna is to identify a spot where you are getting at least 2-3 bars of signal on your roof. Then try to make 3 consecutive calls on your mobile phone in the proposed location. If this is successful, then you may proceed with the installation.

Connect to RG 8X RF Cable Connect power supply adapter Adjust the direction of indoor unit Testing for calling qualities

To improve calling qualities, adjust the direction of the indoor unit.

Important!
Do not open the case of repeater. Do not place excessive pressure on the repeater. Please use the power supply that is supplied with the kit ONLY! Other power supplies will void warranty and can damage the repeater. Please consider the environmental factors when locating a suitable spot for the repeater. (Room Temperature)

Troubleshooting
1) The power LED at the front turns OFF Causes Action

Power cable of the power supply unit has not been connected.
2) The repeater transmits no signal Causes

Check connection of power system

Action

Signal Cable from outdoor antenna Check all connections. has not been connected. Coaxial cable connecting the repeater and outdoor antenna might be defective Make sure there is no sharp bends, or breaks in the cable. If needed, replace coaxial cable
