We're a community-specific news and information platform dedicated to providing comprehensive and trusted local coverage for individual towns, villages and communities. By the time it's complete, 077football.com will have boots on the ground in the heart of your community, and a profile for every single player kicking a ball around at your local pitch (however small, so long as it caters for an eleven-a-side game affiliated to your local football association); including their position; what their strengths and weaknesses are; who they're up against next and how they've performed in recent weeks. While our little site is free to use we're only piloting in Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire at the moment due to limited resources, however, if you live further afield don't forget to register today as we'll be in touch as soon as we're ready for a kick-a-bout on your local pitch. Why Cambridgeshire? It's our neck of the woods and Cambridge's Parker's Piece is hallowed turf for football fans and historians alike as the modern rules of the game were formulated there and later adopted by the Football Association in 1863.
