Community support helped during difficult time
By Parker Wolf
I would like to take this opportunity to
thank all the wonderful and caring people of
Kohler, Sheboygan, Sheboygan County,
Wisconsin and beyond for all your generous
support and prayers during my recent battle
with cancer.
Cancer briefly stole my health, my ath-
letic ability, a large part of my junior year in
high school and part of my youth.
It did not, and cannot, take away my de-
termination to beat this disease and take
back my life, which I am in the process of
doing.
I have received so many forms of support
through cards, e-mails and others. Thank
you all. So many people have wished me
well and told me my story has inspired them.
In reality it was all of you who helped me
through the dark days of chemotherapy and
radiation.
My thanks to:
Districts Distance Learning Center
set to debut
Submitted by: Dr. Robert Kobylski
Last fall, the Kohler Public Schools an-
nounced that, as a result of generous dona-
tions from the Frank G. and Frieda K. Brotz
Family Foundation, and the Kohler School
Foundation, construction would begin im-
mediately on a state-of-the-art Distance
Learning Center. I am pleased to report that
the new Distance Learning Center is set to
accept its first class of students on Septem-
ber 1st, the first day of school. The district
is currently planning a formal ribbon cutting
ceremony for mid-to-late September. As of
this writing, Sen. Herb Kohl has agreed to
join the ribbon cutting celebration and offer
his congratulations via a live feed from
Washington, D.C.!
Over the last few years, online education
has gained ground as an alternative to tradi-
tional classroom instruction. However, we
are coming to learn that face-to-face instruc-
tion between teacher and student is often still
the optimal method for the delivery of in-
struction. With our interactive distance learn-
ing system, students will benefit from the
interactive instruction of off-site instructors
via a sophisticated video and audio system.
This real-time student-instructor interaction
is what separates distance learning from on-
line student-computer education.
As stated in our initial press release, dis-
tance learning brings many benefits to stu-
dents, instructors, schools and local citizens.
It is a powerful, modern way to extend the
talents of capable instructors to a wider au-
dience and to give students a broader, richer
educational experience. Many smaller/rural
school systems rely on distance learning cen-
ters to provide multivariate programming
and course options; where class size con-
straints limit traditional teacher-led class-
room options. For example, we will now
have the opportunity to offer single section
language courses, such as Chinese, Arabic or
Hindi, to interested students without having
to physically bring an instructor into the
building.
Again, the curricular opportunities pre-
sented by a Distance Learning Center are ex-
citing and inescapable. Beyond the variety
of new course offerings that would spark stu-
dent interest and imagination, possibilities
exist for Pre K-12 students to interact on a
personal level with scientists investigating
the origins of the universe at the large
Hadron Collider in Europe, art historians at
the Louvre in Paris, elementary classrooms
across the globe, as well as contemporary
artists, playwrights and other prominent re-
searchers. The curricular possibilities are
truly endless. The completion of this state-
of-the-art Distance Learning Center has
clearly placed the Kohler Public Schools at
the forefront of Twenty-First Century global
learning.
In time we also plan to provide opportu-
nities for community groups, as well as pub-
lic and private organizations, to access to this
facility in an effort to bring a world of won-
der to Kohlers doorstep.
Once again, we would like to thank our
benefactors for their ongoing commitment to
improving the educational experiences of
Kohler Public Schools students.
Kohler High re-gains top
ranking on ACT

report
Submitted by: Dr. Robert Kobylski
Kohler High School's 27.0 composite
score on the 2009 ACT college admissions
exam report places the school first in the
State among public high schools. By com-
parison, the 2009 State average composite
score for Wisconsin is 22.3. For Kohler
High School students, this also marks the
third #1 ranking in the last four years.
The ACT consists of curriculum-based
tests of educational development in English,
mathematics, reading and science designed
to measure the skills needed for success in
first-year college coursework. Skills in Eng-
lish, math, reading and science are tested on

School Board President, Dr. Jane Bishop
stated, We are very proud of our students.
These test results clearly reflect the hard
work and diligence, not only of our students,
but of our teachers, parents and the entire
Kohler learning community.
A great team of doctors Dr.

Charlie Reinertsen, one of my
best friends who has been there
since the beginning and for every-

a benefit for me is something I will never
forget. You are a wonderful friend.
All those involved in my benefit: Sheboy-

story about me and sitting with me during
chemo), bands, The Scallions (and good luck
at State Launchpad), Tough Act to Follow
and the Mark Hubing Band. The many vol-
unteers and all the people who attended.
Dave Horness of Thrivent Financial for your
generous support. Mr. and Mrs. Reinertsen
and Toni Koross for your behind- the-scenes
support.
All my basketball and swim-

standing and compassion. All the
teams: Sheboygan South girls

Chinooks swim team. The Pink Hat Brigade
for making me an honorary member. Santa's
elves for my special 12 days of Christmas.
And Mrs. Herold and family for always
being there for me.
Bob and Donna Gutschow of The Chil-
dren With Cancer of Sheboygan County
Foundation for your donation.
The Sheboygan Firefighters of Local 483

My very understanding teachers, coun-
selor and administrators at North. To all the
acquaintances and many others I have never
met, but who I do not feel right calling
strangers.
The Aurora Medical community for angel
ornaments for my tree of hope. It is still up
to remind me everyday that there is hope and
I will get well.
All my friends some old, some new
who have been so helpful during times of
need. You all are the best.
My family aunts, uncles, cousins and
Grandma. To all my brothers and sisters and
my Dad for all the TLC. Thanks especially
to my Mom who has been there every step
of the way for me. It has been a long journey
with good days and bad, but I know better
days are ahead.
And to everyone who prayed for me.
I hope that I have not forgotten anyone.
You have all touched my life in immeasura-
ble ways. Everyone's life is full of obstacles
to overcome and with God's help I will over-
come this one.

Greetings,
This month Id like to provide an up-
date on the developments with the Lost
Woods Park facility project. We have re-
ceived the initial bids back for this proj-
ect. Although favorable, they exceeded
the state prevailing wage requirements
which necessitated we rebid the project.
Therefore, we have sent the project plans
out to be rebid at the prevailing wage
rates and will open them on August 27. A
contractor will be chosen by the Village
Board based on the prevailing wage bids
on August 31. The Village Board plans on
having this exciting facility, which will
enhance our community, completed by
the end of this fall.
Sadly, due to the aged piping support-
ing the two outdoor childrens pools they
had to be closed early this summer.
Proper chlorine levels could not be main-
tained to insure the health and safety of
the children. We will investigate poten-
tial repair costs and factor these into our
evaluation of a replacement outdoor pool.
Please feel free to contact myself or one
of your Village Trustees with your input
regarding this project.
September signals the end of summer
for the children as school reconvenes. I
hope they all have had the opportunity to
participate in one or more of our fine
recreation department summer programs.
It also signals the beginning of the village

budgeting process for 2010. My goal,
which is achievable with the support of
the Village Board, is to maintain a flat mil
rate while insuring we continue to uphold
the standards and traditions which the Vil-
lage of Kohler is known for. This can be
accomplished through cost effective solu-
tions for the projects we undertake and
services provided as we move forward.
The first Kohler Park Krawl is sched-
uled for September 12, from 12-5 P.M.
This will be a day filled with family fun
and activities that will end with a picnic
atmosphere in the Ravine Park. Please
mark your calendars and plan on attend-
ing I look forward to seeing everyone
there!

year's auction was enlivened by friendly chal-
lenges and rivalry among bidders). Auction
items range from trips, tickets to sporting events
and shows, decorative items, and special expe-
riences such as geocaching lessons, the highly
popular principal for a day, book club night,

Kohler Schools into the future
Attending this fun event assists the Kohler
School Foundation, led by Nina Kohler, in tak-
ing the Kohler School experience beyond the ba-
sics of public education by providing students
and teachers with technology that will prepare
our young people for an increasingly sophisti-
cated workplace, while promoting Kohler
Schools as a desirable Village amenity to new-
comers and established residents alike.
The Foundation has funded a mobile com-
puter lab, ceiling mounted computer projection
units, and the build out of the new distance
learning lab a direct result of the collaborative
partnership between the Foundation, the District
and the generous donation of the technology
from the Frank G. and Frieda K. Brotz Family
Foundation, Inc. Distance learning labs are an
invaluable tool for helping students in small
school districts like Kohler take courses that
were once unavailable. These virtual schools
also allow students to interact with other stu-
dents in schools from around the state. This
emerging technology is becoming widely used
in universities and institutions around the globe.
So mark your calendars and start fixin' to rus-
tle up your pardners, hitch up the wagon, and
mosey on over to the Kohler Stables on October
2, 2009 for Fall Follies. Invitations will be
mailed out again in early September. Invitations
can also be obtained in the School office at that
time if extra reservations are needed.

Marie is back!
Marie Freidlander started dancing at
age 5 and discovered the freedom of ex-
pression in movement. She stayed in-
volved with dance for 15 years learning
to share it through teaching others and
performing at various functions. She
went on to earn a BS degree in Psychol-
ogy at the University of Minnesota and
hoped to continue on into dance therapy,
but it never materialized because, It
lacked the realness of connecting to the
heart and soul of anothers being, said
Freidlander. She spent some time work-
ing at a crisis center with suicide preven-
tion, and counseling runaways as they
first came off the streets.
Freidlander said her life became con-
nected when she first heard Baron Bap-
tiste of Baptiste Power Yoga speak at a
Yoga Journal Conference in the 90s dur-
ing the time she was living in Kohler and
taking Power Yoga classes from Debbie
Williamson. Freidlander asked
Williamson if she could assist her in learn-
ing how to teach yoga, and within the year
they were both off to Tulum and Level 1
with a passion. I had always known how
to listen to my body through dance and I
now learned how to listen with my heart,
Freidlander said. She believes that through
presence of being and shared community,
strength is spread and the power to go on
and grow is planted. That passion to serve
the community led Freidlander to found
The Bodhi Tree Power Yoga Retreat, lo-
cated in Black River (near Kohler Andrea
State Park) at 746 River Trails in Sheboy-
gan.
Rather than offering a daily 12-class
scheduled yoga studio, the retreat offers
special classes and training programs
throughout the year to enhance clients
yoga practice. Freidlander said the Bodhi
Tree retreat is for yoga students and/or
teachers looking to empower their lives.
Programs, events and classes are all do-
nation based, meaning clients pay as they
can for weekly classes. For event and
community programs all donations go to
The Boys and Girls Club of Sheboygan.
Training programs are all certified and fill
CE requirements for yoga teachers. These
programs have a fee structure to pay the
teacher directly. The Teen Karma Yoga
program, designed to enhance leadership
skills in teens, is free.
I believe in giving back to the com-
munity and sharing my love for yoga and
how it has changed my life, said Frei-
dlander. The Bodhi Tree was built on
that platform. This is an awesome expe-
rience for any level student. Please check
out our websites and learn more about
what is offered and who we are.

Barefoot Water Ski Championships
Sarah Molepske, 15, of Kohler
placed third in tricks and wake slalom
at the 2009 National Barefoot Water
Skiing Championships held this past
week at Mystic Lakes located near Wi-
chita, Kansas. This is the 32nd year of
the national championships which took
place in Alama Center, WI in 2008. She
placed third in the tricks event and third
in the wake crossing event. More than
110 competitors from around the coun-
try competed in the championships that
are segregated by age categories.
Sarahs father Mike Molepske, 48,
also competed at the championships and
placed third in his wake crossing event.
Each competitor is given two 15 sec-
ond passes each in the wake crossing
and trick events. In the wake crossing
event, each competitor receives full
credit for each wake crossing they per-
form on one foot and half credit for
each two foot crossing. The trick event
is also comprised two 15 second
passes. Points are accumulated for
each start and for each non-repeated
trick performed. Lifting a foot, placing
a foot in a harness incorporated in the
handle, tumble turns on the water, and
service turns on your feet are a few of
the tricks that are performed for credit.
Sarah began waterskiing when she
was just four years old and learned
how to barefoot waterski when she was
ten. She began to competitively water
ski in 2007.

foot waterskiing visit the national
governing bodys web site at

Pro Cecil Martin keeps 5th grade
football players on their toes
Submitted by Christine Phillips
Professional football player Cecil Martin
graciously shared his time and expertise with
the Kohler 5th Grade Boys tackle football
players on a lovely August summer day. As the
winners of an exciting raffle at last's spring's
Pasta Dinner Fundraiser for the LKC tackle
football program, Martin agreed to come to
spend the afternoon with the lucky players.
Giving a rousing inspirational speech to the
wide-eyed boys, Martin then lead them
through a series of drills and practice moves
that kept the entire team on their toes. After-
wards, the gang met for dinner before heading
back to Ebben Field for their formal practice.
Above and beyond the call of duty, Martin
stayed on and joined the entire league for more
hijinks and practice moves. His presence def-
initely made the scrimmage more lively as the
boys stepped it up to impress the warm and en-
gaging star! During his years in Evanston Illi-
nois, Coach Scott Silvestri met the football
great while he was still a rookie. Cecil is now
known not only for his all star playing but for
his numerous humanitarian efforts as well.
Martin was a four year starter for the Badgers,
and blocked for Heisman trophy winner Ron
Dayne. He won two Rose Bowls while at Wis-
consin and played five years with the Eagles,
and a year with the Raiders and Buccaneers.
Hes won several NFL charitable awards and
his speech stressed the importance of hard
work, focus, and perseverance; and did those
boys ever listen. What a wonderful day and
what a fabulous influence and inspiration for
our budding professional players! Many
thanks to Cecil and Scott for a magical day at
Ebben Field!

Kohler YMCA Baseball League

Rocks the Conference!
By Christine Phillips
Summer 2009 proved to be a stellar one
for all three local 3-4th grade baseball
teams this season as Kohler dominated the
YMCA league this year with 3 solid win-
ning records! Enrollment this year was a
record high, and the initial balancing act
that had to be done to ensure each player
would have respectable field time paid off
in the end. Head coaches Scott Silvestri, Jay
Maki and Mark Hansen held numerous in-
dividual and multi-team practice sessions
with skill-set training being the focus. All
the coaches stressed the importance of
knowing the ins and outs of the game,
thinking smart on the field, and avoiding
costly mental errors. The recreation depart-
ments investment in a pitching machine
paid off, with record reports of multiple
home-runs, triples, doubles and a steady
stream of solid singles in each game! Each
team also boasted no-hitters due to strong
aggressive pitching and amazing defense.
Even league heavy hitters Oostburg and
Cedar Grove were dealt defeats by all three
Kohler teams during the year. And, all the
players came out and supported one another
as the season progressed making this years
Kohler league truly one big team effort.
League teams included Cedar Grove, She-
boygan Falls, Oostburg, and Kohler A spe-
cial thanks to all the coaches, parents and
volunteers for your efforts, support and en-
thusiasm on behalf of our players-Heres to
the cheers resonating from Lost Woods
Park- Go Bombers! Team records include:
White -- 9-3-1; Blue -- 8-4-1; Black 9-3-1.

Crown Trophy-Sheboygan
wins national awards
Jeanne & Aaron receive two awards at Annual Conference
Delray Beach, FL - July 30, 2009 Jeanne
and Aaron Chorowicz, owners of Crown
Trophy-Sheboygan, received two presti-
gious national awards at the Crown Tro-
phy annual conference and awards
ceremony in Delray Beach, Florida.
The Debbie Huckaby Memorial Spirit
Award recognizes owners for outstanding
contributions to the growth and develop-
ment of the Crown Trophy family. Three
of the now 150 Crown Trophy stores na-
tionwide were selected as 2009 Debbie
Huckaby Spirit Award recipients.
Crown Trophy-Sheboygan also re-
ceived The Matthew Sneck Memorial Ris-
ing Star Award, which recognizes Crown
Trophy stores in operation for three years
or less. This award is presented annually
to the one Crown Trophy store deemed to
have the most potential for future success
as a Crown Trophy franchise in their com-
munity.
Franchise President and founder Chuck
Weisenfeld stated, Jeanne and Aaron con-
sistently share their creative ideas and en-
ergy with other store owners and
understand that each store, and most im-
portantly that stores customers, benefit
from a strong franchise system. It is a
pleasure to have the Chorowicz Family as
part of this team.
Owner Aaron Chorowicz stated, We
are proud and humbled to be considered in
the company of the most successful Crown
stores in the country as recipients of these
two awards. We truly love the work we do
for our now loyal customers in Sheboygan
and the surrounding area, and look for-
ward to living up to the potential Crown
Trophy leadership has seen in us.
Owner Jeanne Chorowicz remarked,
Since we opened in 2007 we have en-
joyed introducing Crown Trophys out-
standing product line to our
customersmany of whom have been
very outspoken about their satisfaction
with our service. Were surprised, but
thrilled, that our efforts to this point have
been recognized. We look forward to
many more years of service within our
community.

From Clerk/Treasurer
Laurie Lindow:
Voter Registration Letters
Some Village Residents have received
a letter from the State of Wisconsin/Gov-
ernment Accountability Board (GAB) re-
garding their Voter Registration. The Help
American Vote Act of 2002 (HAVA) re-
quires cross-checking voter registration
information with driver license records.
The HAVA check compares the voters
name, date of birth and driver license
number with information at the WI Dept.
of Transportation. If your information
doesnt match, you will still be able to
vote as you always have. However, some
of your information may not be correct in
the Statewide Voter Registration System
(SVRS). Correcting this information re-
duces the risk of your record being incor-
rectly matched with another voter with a
similar name or identifying information.
If you have received one of these let-
ters please call the GAB at 608-261-2028
or email gabhelpdesk@wi.gov. They need
to verify the spelling of your name as
shown on your driver license, your date
of birth, and your driver license number.
From Police Chief
Bill Rutten:
School is back in Session
Now that school is back in session,
please remember to drive carefully on the
streets around the school. The speed limit
is 15 mph when children are present in the
school zones. There is no stopping or
standing of vehicles for the westbound
traffic on School St. Also, parents that
drop children off in the morning should
do so close to the crosswalk so the stu-
dents can be helped across the street. Stu-
dents that are crossing in mid-block
amongst the vehicles are harder to see and
are not as safe. Also remember that stu-
dents can now be dropped off on the north
side under the canopy to avoid the traffic.
Thanks for Reading
I write these articles every month, not
knowing if they are widely read or not.
Last month, I had some immediate feed-
back about the stop sign violation en-
forcement from multiple people. I
appreciate that. As always, we are here to
serve the community. The Kohler Police
Department tries hard to keep the commu-
nity safe and make it a place that we all
enjoy residing in. I know many people
through many different avenues now hav-
ing worked and lived in the community
for awhile. Many people wait to see me at
a function or out and about to ask me
questions, etc. You dont have to wait, feel
free to call me at 459-3877 or send me an
email at WRutten@kohlerpolice.com.
Also, as always, the police department is
available for immediate response 24/7
when you need us.

PTO completes
new playground
project at
Kohler School
By Vicki Friske
The Kohler School Friends Parent
Teacher Organization is proud to announce
the completion of our playground improve-
ment project at Kohler School. The
$28,000 project includes a new play struc-
ture, swing set and park bench. KSF PTO
chose the same playground manufacturer
that we used in 1998 when we purchased
the original blue play equipment. This al-
lowed the new equipment to connect seam-
lessly with the existing play structure. The
KSF PTO held a Rake & Play event on
Monday, August 10th to officially open the
new areas for play. Fifty volunteers came
together with wheelbarrows, rakes and
shovels to spread wood chips under the
new equipment, then the kids were the first
to try out the new equipment.
The Kohler School Friends would like
to thank the Village Department of Public
Works for all of their help with this project.
Before the project could begin, Public
Works staff removed the broken play
equipment from the playground area and
leveled the site. When the new equipment
shipment arrived, the Public Works Dept.
unloaded the truck with their forklift. Dur-
ing installation, they provided safety fenc-
ing around the site, and following
installation, they helped to move the last
pile of wood chips under the swings.
Thank you for all of your support this
project really did "take a Village" we
couldn't have done it without you!

Superintendents Message
Welcome back!
I know it is hard to believe that Sep-
tember is upon us and that the school
year is about to begin. It is always with
mixed emotions that I write this back-to-
school letter as summer memories are
still being recorded. However, excite-
ment is building as we are about to em-
bark upon new and exciting adventures
in education.
There are a number of stimulating
changes taking place within our schools
this year, including a freshmen transition
program; additional high school AP
courses; SmartBoard technology
added to four classrooms; the extension
of differentiated instruction involving
exceptional learners; our new state-of-
the-art Distance Learning Center, and
much more. Please know that the district
is committed to bringing progressive
21st Century educational ideals and pro-
grams to each classroom, and to each
and every student. As the year unfolds,
look for the implementation of other new
innovations and initiatives; such as the
unveiling of our new district website.
This is truly an exciting time to be a
Future of

The Kohler School Friends annual
Holiday Arts & Crafts Fair is the primary
fundraiser for the Kohler School Friends
Parent Teacher Organization. Last years
Fair raised over $24,000. These funds pay
for teaching materials, field trip busing,
special events, program speakers and a
yearly staff wish list of items teachers
would otherwise have to pay for out of
pocket, or pass the cost on to parents.
These purchases benefit all Kohler stu-
dents from 4K through 12th grade. With-
out the Holiday Arts & Crafts Fair, this
funding would not be possible!
This years KSF PTO Holiday Arts &
Crafts Fair will be held on Saturday, No-
vember 21, 2009. The event includes over
80 craft booths, a raffle, Holiday Cafe,
bake sale, and live entertainment. The Fair
is scheduled annually in conjunction with
the American Clubs Wisconsin Holiday
Market which will be held November 20
- 22 and draws thousands of visitors to the
Village that weekend, which helps to pro-
mote tourism.
The KSF PTO Holiday Arts & Crafts
Fair is in need of new leadership in 2010.
Thus far, the KSF PTO has been unsuc-
cessful in finding individuals interested in
filling this position. The Holiday Arts &
Crafts Fair is an established event, with
experienced chairpeople who manage
their own committees and report to the
event coordinator. Theres no better time
for a new coordinator to step forward than
right now, when they still have the oppor-
tunity to shadow the current coordinator
before and during the 2009 show. This
would also be an excellent opportunity for
two friends to step forward and co-chair
the Fair together, as many leaders have
done in the past.
If you are interested in keeping this
fundraiser going and insuring that our
school continues to receive KSF PTOs
much needed financial support, please

ident Vicki Friske at 803-3367 or

Besides the physical changes, there
are also changes within our staff. There
are a total of five new staff assignments.
Please join me in welcoming these new
staff members to the KPS community.
When you visit, you will also notice
some familiar faces in new places. The
recent reorganization of district staff will
allow us to better serve all stakeholders.
There is a renewed vitality emanating
from all faculty and staff members that
will serve to nurture the positive and
productive energy this district is known
for.
Although the economy of our nation,
state and region is faced with a number
of challenges, K-12 academic and extra-
curricular programs will remain intact
for the 2009-2010 school year as a result
of numerous operational budget cuts.
Moving forward, the financial health of
the district will be dependent upon a
number of critical factors, such as: en-
rollment growth, State budgetary condi-
tions, creative management of facility
repairs and upgrades, and the conclusion
of successful contract negotiations with
our teachers union. As we prepare for
the future of the District, we must iden-
tify additional efficiencies in order to
continue the programs and services we
offer. I remain committed to keeping you
informed and up-to-date regarding any
changes we may need to consider.
Lastly, one of the most significant
factors in the overall success of our stu-
dents and our district will always be our
ability to work in partnership with our
parents and the community. We hope that
you feel welcome in our schools and that
you will take advantage of opportunities
to become involved, to learn more about
your school district and to be a part of
the many things that are taking place. I
look forward to seeing you in person
very soon.

Children with disabilities procedure
The school district must locate, identify, and evaluate all children
with disabilities, including children with disabilities attending pri-
vate schools in the school district, regardless of the severity of
their disabilities. The school district has a special education
screening program to evaluate all children with suspected disabil-
ities and are at least three years old. Upon request, the school
district will screen a child who has not graduated high school to
determine whether a special education referral is appropriate. A
request may be made by contacting Tamra O'Keefe, Special Ed-

Inaugural 2009 Harvest Days
in the Village of Kohler the
destination for all this fall
The Village of Kohler transforms into
the top destination in Wisconsin for family-
friendly festivities this October with the
introduction of Harvest Days. The
inaugural event debuts with a towering half-
acre hay fort, winding corn maze, petting
zoo, giant pumpkin contest, animal rides,
and pumpkin patch tractor & wagon rides
on Saturdays and Sundays in October
sponsored by The Shops at Woodlake
Kohler. Harvest Days in Kohler is the
perfect destination for a day of traditional
Wisconsin autumn-themed activities for
kids, families and friends, said Scott
Anderson, President of Hospitality & Real
Estate - Kohler Co.
One signature activity for Harvest Days
is a hay fort constructed using 125 large
bales of hay that will tower 15 feet tall and
150 feet in diameter for kids to discover and
climb.
In addition, there will be two cooking
demonstrations hosted by the Kitchens of
Kohler Chefs on Saturdays and one session
on Sunday (except October 24 & 25). And
watch for details on the Halloween Party at
The Shops at Woodlake Tent where the
Giant Pumpkin contest winner will be
announced.
Harvest Days at The Shops at Woodlake
Kohler is open to the public from 11am to
5pm on the following Saturdays and
Sundays: October 3-4, 10-11, 17-18 and
24-25, and Thursday through Saturday:
October 29, 30, 31. Admission price is $5
per person six years and older. Children
ages 5 and younger are complimentary
(excludes pumpkins and animal rides).
Petting zoo is closed October 24 & 25.
Located at The Shops at Woodlake Kohler.
