1. TITLE OF THE PROJECT

ANALYTICAL STUDY OF THE FUTURE OF CLOUD AS SERVICE FOR INDIAN TELECOM INDUSTRY

2. STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

This study will help in establishing cloud is being transformed to a model consisting of services that are commoditized and delivered in a manner similar to traditional utilities such as water, electricity, gas, and telephony. In such a model, users access services based on their requirements without regard to where the services are hosted or how they are delivered.

Cloud is a type of parallel and distributed system consisting of a collection of interconnected and virtualized computers that are dynamically provisioned and presented as one or more unified computing resources based on service-level agreement established through negotiation between the service provider and consumer. The study will help to introduce cloud as service for Indian Telecom industry. For companies considering cloud and find out the ROI of investing and developing the Cloud based Solution. This research project will implement cloud as an application uploaded on the server for different or each Telecom company. While the telecommunications arent quite at the point of viewing telecom industry as a commodity service, the potential cost saving that could be gleaned from the creation of a shared.

3. OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY

Fixing the objective is like identifying the star. The objective decides where we want to go, what we want to achieve and what is our goal or destination. Every study is carried out for the achievement of certain objectives.

1. To Study the benefit of cloud computing in Telecom industry. 2. To study the cloud architecture as an application. 3. To find the affect and future of cloud based application for the Telecommunication industry. 4. To study about Indian Telecom Industry is ready to accept the cloud as service for its daily usage.

4. RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

Research methodology in a way is a written game plan for conducting research. Research methodology has many dimensions. It includes not only the research methods but also considers the logic behind the methods used in the context of the study and complains why only a particular method of technique has been used. The basic task of research is to generate accurate information for use in decision making. Research can be defined as the systematic and objective process of gathering, recording and analyzing data for aid in making business decisions. METHODOLOGY ADOPTED:- This research is aimed at studying the future of cloud as service for Indian Telecom industry. RESEARCH DESIGN:- The research design used in this study was both Descriptive and exploratory.

DATA COLLECTION METHODS:

The data will be collected using both by primary data collection methods as well as secondary sources. PRIMARY DATA: Most of the information will be gathered through primary sources. The methods that will be used to collect primary data are: a) Questionnaire b) Interview SECONDARY DATA: Secondary data that will be used are web sites and published materials related to cloud services as well as any relevant information on cloud services for Telecom industry. The secondary data was collected through:

Text Books Magazines Journals 7

Websites

SAMPLING TECHNIQUE:The technique used for conducting the study will Convenience Sampling Technique as sample of respondents was chosen according to convenience. STASTICAL TOOLS: MS-EXCEL will use to prepare pie- charts and graphs and MS-WORD will use to prepare or write the whole project report.

METHOD USE TO PRESENT DATA:

Data Analysis & Interpretation Classification & tabulation transforms the raw data collected through questionnaire in to useful information by organizing and compiling the bits of data contained in each questionnaire i.e., observation and responses are converted in to understandable and orderly statistics are used to organize and analyze the data: Simple tabulation of data using tally marks. Calculating the percentage of the responses. Formula used = (name of responses / total responses) * 100

Graphical analysis by means of pie charts bar graphs etc. NUMBER OF RESPONDENTS Total samples of 50-75 respondents will contact who responded to the questionnaires. AREA OF STUDY Cloud computing
