to the present study. It is composed of related literature and studies, both local and foreign, which contains facts and information on the research problem at hand. It also provides explanation and logical explanations between previous research and present work. A. Review of Related Literature 1. Foreign Literature

Janes (2001) stated that computers are extremely reliable device and very powerful calculators with some great accessories applications like word processing problem for all of business activities, regardless of size, computers have three advantages over other type of office equipment that process information because computer are faster, more accurate more economical. organizing, actuating and controlling .This maybe observed from the past that they monitor production activities, solve scientific problem and help arrive in tentative answer to a multitude of involve conditions. Ralph M. Stair (1999) emphasized that the development of technology through the years have enabled us to do more with less effort. 2. Local Studies In this study conducted by Ariel Magat (2002), entitled Inventory System stated the vital to any institution, agency, or department. The proper safekeeping, processing and disposal of records play important roles in the efficient, effective and smooth operation that eventually would lead to the success attainment of the goal and objectives of institution, agency and department concerned. Based on her recommendation there should be a central record management office that will hold data of the agency to serve as locator of the record and to control the disposal of each record. This can be possible through the use of computerized system. Computer with the appropriate software package is capable of handling records efficiently and effectively. And locating records that are computerized is faster than finding them in the filling cabinet.

In this study conducted by Simon Laurel (2004), entitled Monitoring and Inventorying System. The GIGS Bookstore gets difficult in handling and monitoring sales getting from time consuming in recording process that requires a user to fill data in each book manually. Also difficult in determination of price and to check the availability of commodities in the store, this is doing by perusing page by page from books it recorded. Moreover is lack of data integrity here since the system used is paper-based, therefore, there is no way changing takes place to all books at a time. And also inaccuracy calculation due to human errors and insecurity of data stored is at high risk in case of theft of book(s) or some

pages within the book(s) been removed. In his study he stated that it is possible to use a computerized system in manipulating records and processes. (2013, 03). Chapter Ii Related Studies. "It is nearly impossible to overemphasize the importance of keeping inventory levels under control," Ronald Pachura wrote in an article for IIE Solutions. "Whether the problems incurred are caused by carrying too little or too much inventory, manufacturers need to become aware that inventory control is not just a materials management or warehouse department issue. The purchasing, receiving, engineering, manufacturing, and accounting departments all contribute to the accuracy of the inventory methods and records."

It is little wonder that business experts commonly cite inventory management as a vital element that can spell the difference between success and failure in today's keenly competitive business world. Writing in Production and Inventory Management Journal, Godwin Udo described telecommunications technology as a critical organizational asset that can help a company realize important competitive gains in the area of inventory management. According to Udo, companies that make good use of this technology are far better equipped to

succeed than those who rely on outdated or unwieldy methods of inventory control. Automation can draidatically affect all phases of inventory management, including counting and monitoring of inventory items; recording and retrieval of item storage locations; recording changes to inventory; and anticipating inventory needs, including inventory handling requirements. This is true even of standalone systems that are not integrated with other areas of the business. But many analysts indicate that productivityand hence profitabilitygains that are garnered through use of automated systems can be increased when a business integrates its inventory control systems with other systems, such as accounting and sales, and to better management of inventory. C. Synthesis

D. Theoretical Framework

The main goal of this study is to provide and create a system that will provide the owner faster recoding of transactions and counting of their laundries. In theory, this system will also offer a much efficient and reliable system that can record their transactions digitally. Since they are using manual recording, the said system will of great help to them. In business transaction, time is very important, having the traditional way of computing and recording would take time, and the purpose of this system is to lessen this time and spend it in much more important matters. With the help of this system, counter personnel will accomplish their jobs efficiently and can count their laundries accurately. And with just a few clicks in a computer mouse, the business can easily search the taking in and out of laundries. Furthermore, the business can identify how much the customer will pay for the service.
