This initiative provides a clean, convenient and ecofriendly alternative to the traditional water fountain. The water is purified and quickly dispensed. Three Water Bottle Refill Stations should be installed in the CAW student Centre; In the basement (beside the elevator), main floor (by the washroom), and second floor (by the washroom close to the boardroom). Elkay EZH2O Water Refilling Station, Wall Mount, Single Mount, VR Bubbler, w/Filter, Stainless Steel Wall Mount, Flow Rate: 8 GPH, Stainless Steel This is a complete filtered cooler and bottle filling station, which has a consolidated space saving ADA compliant design. It is sanitary, with a no-touch design, as well as sensor activation with automatic 20-second shut-off timer. A Water Sentry Plus 3000 gallon filter is included. Flexi-Guard Stream Saver Bubbler. Silver Ion anti-microbial protection. Quick fill rate is 1. 1 GPM for refrigerated units and 1. 5 gpm for non- refrigerated units. Laminar flow provides minimal splash. Real drain system eliminates standing water. Visual user interface display includes:. Filter Monitor indicating when replacement is necessary. Green Ticker counting the quantity of 16oz. bottles saved from the landfill for non-refrigerated units and 12 oz. bottles for refrigerated units. Lead Free Design. Our students need to start of with a eco friendly mentality. The VPFO suggests the creation of a sub committee to accelerate the project. Any information or changes will be relayed immediately to the members of the PMB. This project is about installing three water bottle refill stations in the CAW Student Centre. All three stations are accessible to any students, and in open areas. This ties in well with a bottled water free campus campaign. The University Administration as well as students are going to sign a pledge to promote this initiative, as part of the campaign. Our campaign comes from Water is a Human Right, Back the Tap, and Bottled Water Free Day. We will be giving out free refillable bottles during welcome week. After welcome week we will be selling refillable bottles at the front desk to promote a bottled water free campus. Project Descript. Notice Maintenance The only regular maintenance required by this unit is changing the filter. Any additional maintenance shall be done through a recommended plumber. Model LZWSRK is a retro-fit bottle filling station designed for use with most existing 115V/60Hz pushbar-activated EZ cooler installations. Shall be constructed of 18 gauge Type 300 series stainless steel and ABS plastic. Shall include an electronic sensor for notouch activation with an automatic 30-second shut-off timer. Shall provide 1.1* gpm flow rate with laminar flow to minimize splashing. Shall include antimicrobial protected plastic components to prevent mold and mildew. Shall include the WaterSentry Plus filter with visual monitor to indicate when replacement is necessary. Bottle Filling unit shall meet ADA guidelines for parallel approach. Unit shall be lead-free design which meets Safe Drinking Water Act and is certified to NSF/ANSI 61 and California AB1953.
