Industrial Training: Organization: Elecon engineering Co. Ltd. At Gear division Time duration: 25days (from July 07, 2010 to July 31, 2010) Organization: IDMC Limited Outcome: I have done project on Design of setup for automatic Circumferential Welding Time duration:-6 month (from January 13, 2011 to June 2, 2011) ABSTRACT: We found that the best solution was to develop an automatic welding manipulator. Thus we decided to use Column and Boom Welding Manipulator. It was very clear when we performed our experiments on the simulation of welding parameters that we will achieve by the use of automatic welding manipulator and we found out that this drastically reduced the time for the welding process as compare to manual welding. Also the result of the welding obtained by the simulating the welding conditions that would be obtained by the manipulator were satisfactory. So by using the manipulator not only the results were but also we saved time for the process and also the cost which was directly related with process. Also the use of the machine meant that the welder waged would also be excluded from the production cost. So this will directly reduced the cost of the product and increase the profit. Thus by the use of our manipulator not only time and cost would be saved but also the product quality would be improved.

I have working experience 1year and 4 month within the fabrication with assembly of the pulleys and company of the Elecon Epc Projects ltd.. at Mhe division.

Familiar with Welding processes such as SMAW, GTAW and SAW. Familiar with fabrication procedure and sequence. Knowledge of CAM.
