To Whom it May Concern, I give my highest recommendation to God, the father of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

He is the God of the bible. He is all knowing (1 John 3:20), all-powerful (Psalm 33:9), Creator of all (Colossians 1:16), sustainer of all (Job 12:10), ruler over all (Psalm 66:7), and best of all he desires a relationship with each of us (Revelation 3:20). I came into a relationship with him about 10 years ago. I had been seeking him with all my heart according to Jeremiah 29:13 ( You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. ). Then one day I came to know what I believe, and I came to know God. It has been my greatest joy knowing God. He is a great God and friend. I highly recommend him for the position of God in your life. The bible states, God is love (1 John 4: 8). 1 Corinthians 13:4-5 tells us what love is, and therefore what God is because he is love. Each time you see the word love you can insert Gods name.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. God is patient. I fail often, yet God he does not get upset with me because of my flaws (and they are many). Instead of giving up on us because of our failures he does things to encourage us and help us grow. Isaiah 65:8 gives us insight to his patience: This is what the Lord says: As when juice is still found in a cluster of grapes and people say, Dont destroy it, there is still a blessing in it, so will I do in behalf of my servants; I will not destroy them all. God is kind. We all know the saying, Do to others as you would have them do to you. It is found in Luke 6:31, and in Luke 6:35 it says God is kind to the ungrateful, But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Although I am sinful, when I ask God for things he answers many of my prayers. Romans 5:8 says, But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. His love is not based on how good we are or how well we treat him. God does not envy. 1 Corinthians 10:26 says, For the earth is the Lords, and everything in it. He doesnt need anything of ours. He wants a relationship with us not because of our material things, position, or our status. All we have and all we are is a gift from Him. He is the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen. (1 Timothy 6: 15-16) Instead of envying us he wants what is best for us, and he delights in seeing us succeed. God does not boast, and he is not proud. Philippians 2:6-8 states, (Jesus) being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death even death on a cross! God is sovereign yet he is humble, and he wants us to be humble too. 1 Peter 5:5 states, In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble. Proverbs 27:2 says, Let someone else praise you, and not your own mouth; an outsider, and not your own lips. He came to serve us in person as Jesus Christ (For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for

many. Mark 10:45). He created us, yet he treats each of his followers as the most special person on earth even though we are nothing compared to him. God is not rude. An example of this is found in John 8:1-11, but Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group 4 and said to Jesus, Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. 5 In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say? They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him. But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. 7 When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her. 8 Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.

At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. Jesus straightened up and asked her, Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you? No one, sir, she said. Then neither do I condemn you, Jesus declared. Go now and leave your life of sin. Another thing about God is he is not is self-seeking. His Word says, Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. (Philippians 2:3-4) Jesus said, For I seek not to please myself but him who sent me. John 5: 30b God cares for us. All good things come from him such as food for our stomachs (Psalm 111:5). His Word tells us we can cast all our anxiety upon Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). He cares about you, and all the details of your life. This includes such little things as losing your car keys. He cares not just for us, but for the animals and the earth, too. He waters the earth (Psalm 65:9), makes plants grow for man to cultivate (Psalm 104:14-15), and provides food for the creatures (Job 28: 39-41, Psalm 104: 20-28). God is not easily angered. 1 John 4:19 says, We love because he first loved us. God chooses to respond in love instead of anger when we sin against him. Psalm 103:10-11 states, He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth so great is his love for those who fear him. A good example of this is Mark 15:29-32, Those who passed by hurled insults at him, shaking their heads and saying, So! You who are going to destroy the temple and build it in three days, come down from the cross and save yourself! In the same way the chief priests and the teachers of the law mocked him among themselves. He saved others, they said, but he cant save himself! Let this Messiah, this king of Israel, come down now from the cross, that we may see and believe. Those crucified with him also heaped insults on him. These things happened as he was being crucified, yet instead of being angry with the people he asked the Father to forgive them. Luke 23: 34a says, 34 Jesus said, Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing. Many things happened to him which could have made him angry, but he didnt respond in anger. Isaiah 53: 7 says, He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth. When believers love others unconditionally it is because we are choosing to love as God loves us. God is forgiving. In Matthew 18:23-27 he says, Therefore, the kingdom of heaven is like a king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. As he began the settlement, a man who owed him

ten thousand bags of gold was brought to him. Since he was not able to pay, the master ordered that he and his wife and his children and all that he had be sold to repay the debt. At this the servant fell on his knees before him. Be patient with me, he begged, and I will pay back everything. The servants master took pity on him, canceled the debt and let him go. In this parable we are the servant who owes the huge debt, and God is the king who cancels our debt. We are all in debt to God according to Romans 3:23, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. 1 John 1:8 says, If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. When we sin our relationship with God is broken. We cant go and live in eternity with him (heaven) if we have any sin debt left when we die. He cancels our debt when we place our faith in Jesus. Jesus paid for our sins with his death on the cross. 1 John 3:5 says, But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. 1 Timothy 2:5 states, For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus. According to Romans 3:25a, God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his bloodto be received by faith. It says our atonement is to be received by faith. All we have to do to have our sin debt forgiven is believe God sent Jesus to take away our sins. He then brought them out and asked, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? They replied, Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved you and your household. Acts 16:30-31. Once we believe he died in our place, and accept his death as the payment for our sins, we are forgiven all our sins and trespasses. The bible says, Blessed (happy) are they whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed (happy) is the man whose sin the Lord will never count against him. (Romans 4:7-8) When we put our faith in Jesus as our Savior we are justified before God, which means we stand before Him just as if we had never sinned. 2 Corinthians 5:21 says, God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. When we stand before God as though weve never sinned we are reconciled with God and can spend eternity with him, but better yet, we can start enjoying a friendship with him here on earth. John17:3 says to know God is heaven, Now this is eternal life; that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. The God of the bible is the only true God. He is sovereign; he rules over everything: sea, sky, land, and humans. The bible teaches there is only one God (I am the Lord, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God. Isaiah 45:5). He desires a relationship with you. He is waiting for you to invite him into your heart as your Savior, God, and friend ( Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. Revelation 3:20) Job is a man who had a good relationship with God. In Job 29:4 he says, Oh, for the days when I was in my prime, when Gods intimate friendship blessed my house. If the God of the bible is your God, but you dont know him as an intimate friend, ask him to reveal himself to you. You come to know him by seeking him through reading his word. If you dont have a god, I would highly recommend God, the father of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to fill the position of God in your life. Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen 1 Timothy 1:17
