Flight Control Bearing Inspection 4. Inspect condition of bearings as follows: a. Inspect ball bearings and roller bearings for ratcheting, binding, and seal damage (TM 55-1500-322-24). Refer to Table 1 for action required. b. Inspect spherical bearings for looseness, damage, and extrusion of Telfon liner. NONE ALLOWED. Refer to Table 1 or Table 2 for action required. 5. Using dial indicator, inspect radial play per Table 1
