Introduction
VTSP 5 Boot Camp is an instructor-led version of the VMware Technical Sales Professional (VTSP) Program. Most partners take VTSP in a self-paced, e-learning format. However, there are times when a face-to-face training is more appropriate and produces optimal results. For example: To jump-start companies where they have not accredited to an expected level. Where self-paced training is not consistent with the partners culture. Where partners do not have high-speed Internet access. Where a face-to-face training is a conscious method for building VMwares relationship with the partner.

The goal is to help Partner pre-sales professionals develop the capabilities and gain the condence to successfully guide customers through product evaluation, selection and installation based on their business requirements and/or existing IT environment.

Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites to attend VTSP 5 Boot Camp. However, attendees must have an active Partner Central account to take the VTSP quizzes.

On successful completion

of this course students will receive a Torque IT attendance certificate.

VTSP 5 Boot Camp attendees become accredited by passing all of the module quizzes in the vSphere Core track with a score of 80% or higher. Attendees access quizzes via Partner University which is accessed from Partner Central, and so they must have a Partner Central account. Attendees with a pending status are not permitted to take the VTSP quizzes.
