Pilot Program Scope

Six Airports in SW Region + ATL Conduct Obstruction Survey for All Runways and Perform Airport Airspace Analysis ( (-18B) 18B). Conduct Part 77 Analysis Collect Planimetric GIS Data from Electronic Imagery Translate and Import existing non Planimetric Data - where available (Property Maps, Boundary Surveys, Environmental Data, Underground Utilities) Translate to GIS and Import Planned development on existing ALP Use FAA-developed FAA developed e-ALP e ALP software tools (in beta version) to assemble eALP Provide four interim reports

Lessons Learned
Feature-by-Feature/Attribute-byAttribute Scoping adds Significant Value Well-Developed AGIS Statements of Work are Critical Statements-of-Work Cost Drivers Airport Size/Type, Number of Runways, On-Airport Facilities, Airspace Environment, Level-of-Detail Level of Detail (Features and Attributes), Existence of Local GIS Geodetic Control: Use Existing PACS/SACS or Establish Temporary Control Utilize State NGS Representatives Limited Number of Consultants g Expertise, p , Especially p a y with Existing Surveying
