Back 1) Scope of Document: To detect and correct the failure caused due to Data Source Replication error message. Let us consider a scenario where a process fails due to data source replication error as shown below:

Right click on the failed process type and go to Display Messages option, Under Process tabgo to Individual message the following error message appears:

Click on the Process Monitor tab to view the details of the error. When the monitor screen opens up under the Status tab; on clicking the Error message button we can see the error details.

4.2 Replicate Datasource: From RSA1; go to Data Source, then right click on node Business Information Warehouse and choose option Replicate Metadata. While Data sources metadata is getting replicated keep an eye on the messages which appears on the status bar, and understand the replication is completed only when the following message is displayed.

4.2(a) Execute Transfer structure activation program in case of 3X system: Via SE38 execute program RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL

As shown below: Put the Source system and InfoSource information Place a tick mark in the checkbox (Only Inactive objects) Execute in Background.

Note: Make sure the User is BWCOM not your CAI. Monitor the background job in SM37 until the job is finished and also check the spool for same. 4.2(b) Execute Datasource activation program in case of 7X system: After the Datasource replication step is performed Execute program RSDS_DATASOURCE_ACTIVATE_ALL as shown below:

Once clicked on , the following screen appears: As shown below: Put the Source system and Datasource information Place a tick mark in the checkbox (Only Inactive objects) Execute in Background.

Note: make sure the User is BWCOM not your CAI.

Monitor the background job in SM37 until the job is finished and also check the spool for same.

4.3 Restart the data load process: Now go to process chain, right click on the failed IP process type and click on option Repeat. Monitor whether the data successfully got loaded to PSA.
