Bethesada: The name of a pool in Jerusalem where

Jesus healed a man who had been sick for thirty-
eight years (John (Yochanan) 5:2)
Gabbatha means elevation. A platform in front of
the praetorium or governor’s palace in Jerusalem,
where Pilate sat in judgment over Jesus (John
(Yochanan) 19:13)
Golgotha: Skull. The Hebrew name for the place
where Jesus was crucified.

Abaddon means destruction. Name of the angel of
the bottomless pit.
Armageddon: A Middle East site of the final battle
between the forces of good and evil Revelation

What is a Jew? Jew is applied to the
Tribe of Judah

Jew: descendant of Judah; Gr. Ioudaios, a name

formed from that of the patriach Judah, and applied
first to the tribe or country of Judah, or to a subject
of the kingdom of Judah/Yahudah (11
Kings/M’Lakhim Bet 16:6; 25:25; Jer 32:12; 38:19;
40:11; 41:3; 52:28) in distinction from the seceding
ten tribes, the Israelites.

From the time of the Babylonian captivity, as the

members of the tribe of Judah/Yahudah formed by
far the larger portion of the remnant of the covenant
people, Jews became the appellation of the whole
nation (II Maccabees. 9:17; John/Yochanan 4:9;
Acts 18:2, 24).

The original designation of the Israelitish people

was the Hebrews, as the descendants of
Abraham/Avraham. Thus Paul was appropriately
called a Hebrew, and still later the terms Hebrew
and Jew were applied with little distinction.

What is a Hebrew? Hebrew applies to the

descendants of Abraham/Avraham, Isaac/Yitzchak
& Jacob/Yaakov.

The first person in the Bible called a Hebrew is

Abram (Genesis/Beresheet. 14:13). Thereafter his
descendants through Isaac/Yitzchak and
Jacob/Yaakov were known as “Hebrews”
(Genesis/Beresheet. 40:15); 43:32; Exodus/Shemot.
2:11).

What is a Christian ? A Christian is a believer in
and a follower of Jesus Christ the Messiah. This
name is more widely employed than any other
designation of those who believe unto salvation.

What is a Gentile? The Heb. Goyim signified the

nations, the surrounding nations, foreigners as
opposed to Israel (Nehemiah. 5:8).

JEWS/HEBREWS IN RELATION TO ISRAEL

What rendered the Jews a distinct and honored class

was simply their election of God to the place of his
peculiar people, by which they became the
recognized depositories of his truth and the
consecrated channels of his working among men.

The distinction between Israel and other nations, as

was shown in the covenant believing Gentiles in no
age were excluded from sharing in the benefits
conferred upon the Jews/Hebrews, when they
showed themselves willing to enter into the bond of
the covenant.

In the prophetic Word there is a clear distinction

between “Jews” Gentiles and the Church of God” (I
Corinthians 10:32), In this present age all the saved
are members of “the Church of God.” (Ungers Bible
Dictionary)

We are all part of the body, both Jews/ Gentiles.

We are connected by bone, sinews, muscles, blood,
obedience and love. We bear about the marks in
our bodies of the one who died for our sins.

Who are the Israelites?

The whole people of Israel, the twelve tribes; called

the children of Israel (Joshua /Yahoshua. 3:17; 7:25;
Judges. 8:27; Jeremiah. 3:21);

The house of Israel/Yisrael (Exodus/Shemot. 16:31;

40:38); in Israel/Yisrael (I Samuel. 9:9);

And land of Israe/Yisraell (I Samuel/Shmuel Alef.

13:19; II Kings/M’lakhim Bet 6:23;
Numbers/B’midbar. 20:14; Isaiah/Yeshayahu. 41:8;
42:24; 43:1; 15: 44; 1, 5).

Israel/Yisrael is sometimes put emphatically for the

true Israelites, the faithful,, those distinguished for
piety and virtue (Psalm/Tehillim. 73:1;
Isaiah/Yeshayahu 45:17; John/Yochanan 1:47;
Romans. 9:6; 11:26; Gal. 6:16).

In the expression (Isaiah/Yeshayahu. 49:3), “Thou

art my servant, O Israel/Yisrael,” Christ is
undoubtedly referred to.

Israelites was the usual name of the twelve

tribes, from their leaving Egypt until after the
death of Saul, but after the defection of the ten
tribes, they arrogated to themselves the name of
the whole nation.

The ten tribes were called the Kings of Israel and

Judah and Benjamin were known as the Kings of
Judah.(Ungers Bible Dictionary)

And Pilate wrote a title and put it on the cross.
And the writing was Yeshua/Jesus of Nazareth
the King of the Jews John 19:19.

II Corinthians. 11:22 Paul asked questions: Are

they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So
am I. Are they the seed of Abraham so am I.

Book of “Hebrews” in the New Testament is

written by the Holy Spirit to his people.

In the first Chapter it says, God, who at various

times and in different ways spoke in time past to the
fathers by the prophets.

2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son,

whom he has appointed heir of all things, through
whom also he made the worlds;

3 who being the brightness of his glory and the

express image of his person, and upholding all
things by the word of his power, when he had by
himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand
of the Majesty on high.

4 having become so much better than the angels, as

he has by inheritance obtained a more excellent
name than they.

 SALVATION IS OF THE JEWS

In the New Testament, salvation comes through

Yeshua/Yahoshua/Jesus Christ. It is a free gift to
all who repent and have faith in Messiah/Christ
John/Yochanan 3:16.

This gift comes from the God of the Hebrews.

Jesus Hebrew name (Yeshua means
salvation/Yahoshua means, YHWH is salvation).

THE CONNECTION (SCRIPTURES)

JEWS & CHRISTIANS (Gentiles)

A. Jews represent salvation/Woman at the Well

(John/Yochanan 4:22)

l. John/Yochanan 4:7 There cometh a woman of

Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give
me to drink. Jews have no dealings with the
Samaritans John/Yochanan 4:9.

John/Yochanan 4: 14 Jesus explains that he has the

living water. Jesus said, "The water that I shall give
him shall be in him a well of water springing up
into everlasting life." God is a Spirit: and they that
worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth

John 4:24. Jesus explained that he was the Messiah.

The woman had made the connection at the well.
She went to tell the good news: Come; see a man,
which told me all things that ever I did: is not this
the Christ?

 Jews and Christians have same Messiah
(Romans 11:11-14, 25). I say then, Have they
stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but
rather through their fall salvation is come unto
the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.

Now if the fall of them be the riches of the

world, and the diminishing of them the riches of
the Gentiles; how much more their fullness?

For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I (Paul)

am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine
office; If by any means I may provoke to emulation
them which are my flesh, and might save some of
them.

For I would not, brethren, that ye should be

ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in
your own conceits; That blindness in part is
happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles
be come in.

Isaiah/Yeshayahu 60:3 And the Gentiles shall come

to thy light, and kings to the brightness of they
rising.

Matthew/Mattityahu 12:18 Behold my servant,

whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul
is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and
he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.

He shall not strive, nor cry: neither shall any man

hear his voice in the streets. A bruised reed shall he
not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till

he sends forth judgment unto victory. AND IN HIS
NAME SHALL THE GENTILES TRUST.
Romans 3:29 Is he the God of the Jews only? Is he
not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also.

Gentiles shall come Christians (Gentiles) represent

the nations (Psalm/Tehillim 72:11). Yea, all kings
shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve
him.

(Psalm/Tehillim. 86:9) All nations whom thou

hast made shall come and worship before thee,
O Lord; and shall glorify thy name.

Jeremiah.Yirmeyahu 4:2 And thou shalt swear, The

Lord liveth, in truth, in judgment, and in
righteousness; and the nations shall bless
themselves in him, and in him shall they glory.

Isaiah/Yeshayahu 49:22.Thus saith the Lord God,

Behold I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles, and
set up my standard to the people: and they shall
bring thy sons in their arms, and thy daughters, shall
be carried upon their shoulders.

Zechariah/Z’kharyah 2:11 And many nations shall

be joined to the Lord (YHWH) in that day, and
shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of
thee, and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts
hath sent me unto thee.

TRUE WORSHIPPERS

B. True worshippers recognize and accept

Jesus/Yeshua/Yahoshua/Yahshua as the Messiah of
Israel/Yisrael. (Romans 10:9-13) That if thou shalt
confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt
believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from
the dead, thou shalt be saved.

For with the heart man believed unto righteousness;

and with the mouth confession is made unto
salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever
believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

For there is no difference between the Jew and the

Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all
that call upon him.

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord

shall be saved. Luke 15:10 Likewise, I say unto
you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of
God (YHWH) over one sinner that repenteth.

1 Led by the Spirit of Truth. (John/Yochanan

15:26) But when the Comforter is come, whom I
will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit
of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall
testify of me. (Romans 8:11,14-17)

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the

dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the
dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his
Spirit that dwelleth in you. For as many as are led
by the Spirit of God (YHWH), they are the sons of
God.

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again
to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption,
whereby we cry, Abba Father.

The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that

we are the children of God (YHWH).

And children, then heirs; heirs of God (YHWH),

and joint-heirs with Christ (Yeshua/Yahoshua); if so
be that we suffer with him, that we may be also
glorified together.

Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the

Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be
witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all
Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part
of the earth.

2 Know the Messiah’s Hebrew name (My people

are perishing for lack of knowledge).Acts 3:16
Through faith in his name healing is made manifest.
Acts 4:12

Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is

none other name under heaven given among men,
whereby we must be saved.

Ephesians 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus

Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the
spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of
him. Ephesians 1:20 Messiah is seated in heavenly
places.

Ephesians 1:21-23 Far above all principality and

power, and might and dominion, and every name
that is named, not only in this world, but also in that

which is to come: And hath put all things under his
feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to
the church. Which is his body, the fullness of him
that filleth all in all.

Philippians 2:9-10 Wherefore God also hath highly

exalted him, and given him a name which is above
every name. That at the name of Jesus
(Yeshua/Yahoshua) every knee should bow, of
things in heaven, and things in earth, and things
under the earth. And that every tongue should
confess that Jesus Christ (Yeshua/Yahoshua) is
Lord to the glory of God (YHWH) the Father.

3 Know the God of the Hebrews

Exodus/Shemot 3:18 And they shall
hearken to thy voice: and thou shalt come,
thou and the elders of Israel, unto the king

let us go, we beseech thee, three days’ journey
into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the

Psalm/Tehillim 68:4 Sing unto God, sing praises to

his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by
his name JAH, AND REJOICE BEFORE HIM.

Malachi/Malakhi 1:11 For from the rising of the sun

even unto the going down the same my name shall
be great among the Gentiles, and in every place
incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure
offering for my name shall be great among the
heathen saith the Lord of hosts.

Exodus/Shemot 34:5 And the Lord (YHWH)
descended in the cloud, and stood with him
there, and proclaimed the name of the Lord
(YHWH).

Proverbs 30:4 Who hath ascended up into heaven,

or descended? Who hath gathered the wind in his
fists? Who hath bound the waters in a garment?

Who hath established all the ends of the earth?

What is his name, and what is his son’s name, if
thou canst tell?
4. Ephesians 3:6 That the Gentiles should be
fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of
his promise in Christ by the gospel:
5. Ephesians 2:19 Now therefore ye are no more
strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the
saints and of the household of God.

REMNANT
C MicahMikhah 5:8 And the remnant of Jacob
shall be in the midst of many people as a dew from
the Lord, as the showers upon the grass, that tarried
not for man, nor waiteth for the sons of men.

And the remnant of Jacob/Yaakov shall be among

the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion
among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion
among the flocks of sheep; who, if he go through,
both treadeth down, and teareth in pieces, and none
can deliver.

IsaiahYeshayahu 46:3 Hearken unto me, O house of

Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel,
which are borne by me from the belly, which are
carried form the womb.

Ezekiel/Yechezkel 37:19 Say unto them, Thus saith
the Lord God; Behold, I will take the stick of
Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the
tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with
him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them
one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.

IsaiahYeshayahu 11:12 And he shall set up an

ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the
outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed
of Judah/Yahudah from the four corners of the
earth.

D. 1. Rebekah/Rivkah watered the camels

(Genesis/Beresheet 24:18-20) And she said, Drink,
my lord: and she hasted, and let down her pitcher
upon her hand and gave him drink. And when she
had done giving him drink, she said, I will draw
water for thy camels also, until they have done
drinking.

And she hasted, and emptied her pitcher into the

trough, and ran again unto the well to draw water,
and drew for all his camels.

2. Rachel at the well with sheep Jacob watered

the sheep (Genesis/Beresheet 29:10) And it came to
pass, when Jacob/Yaakov saw Rachel the daughter
of Laban his mother’s brother, and the sheep of
Laban his mother’s brother, that Jacob went near,

and rolled the stone from the well’s mouth, and
watered the flock of Laban his mother’s brother.

3. Seven daughters: Now the priest of Midian

had seven daughters: and they came and drew
water; and filled the troughs to water their father’s
flock. And the shepherds came and drove them
away: but Moses stood up and helped them, and
watered their flock.

CONCLUSION: Isaiah/Yeshayahu 12 And in that

day thou shalt say, O Lord, I will praise thee:
though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is
turned away, and thou comforted me.

Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be

afraid: for the Lord Jehovah (YHWH) is my
strength and my song; he also is become my
salvation.

Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the

wells of salvation.

And in that day shall ye say, Praise the Lord

(YHWH), call upon his name, declare his doings
among the people, make mention that his name is
exalted. Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done
excellent things: this is known in all the earth.
Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great
is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.

JEWS AND CHRISTIANS ARE CONNECTED

THROUGH THE MESSIAH. JESUS/YESHUA
YAHSHUA/YAHOSHUA, OUR MESSIAH IS
FROM THE TRIBE OF JUDAH. GOD’S
WORD AND BY HIS HOLY SPIRIT.

Definition of Connection: To bind or fasten
together; join or unite; link. 2 To establish
communication between; put in communication.
3 To associate or attach: the pleasures connected
with music. 4 To associate mentally. 5 To become
connected; join or unite. 6 (of trains, buses, etc)
to run so as to make connections.

Bloodline of descent: A direct line of descent

from a particular human or animal ancestor,
especially with respect to the common
characteristics shared by that ancestor’s
descendants.

(Messiah) represents the bloodline. Saved by the

blood of Jesus/Yeshua/Yahshua/Yahoshua (He is
known by different names.

Matthew/Mattityahu 26:28 For this is my blood of

the New Testament (New Covenant), which is shed
for many for the remission of sins. Without the
shedding of blood, there is no remission of sins.

We have been partakers of blood from our

Jewish/Hebrew Family as a gift from the God of the
Hebrews to bring us all together as one family
under the God of Israel.

Heredity: Is the transfer of characters from

parent to offspring, either through their genes or
through the social institution called inheritance
(for example, a title of nobility is passed from
individual to individual according to relevant
customs and/or laws).

1 Peter 2:9 KJV But ye are a chosen generation,
a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar
people; that ye should show forth the praises of
him who hath called you out of darkness into his
marvelous light.

Biology: In biology, heredity refers to the

transference of biological characteristics from a
parent organism to offspring, and is practically a
homonym for genetics, as genes are now
recognized as the carriers of biological
information.

In humans, defining which characteristics of a

final person are due to heredity and which are
due to environmental influences is often a site of
controversy (the nature versus nurture debate:,
especially regarding intelligence and race.

Sociology: The social institution called

inheritance. One’s bloodline is one’s familial
ancestry.
Meme: A meme (rhymes with “dream,” but
comes from emetic and memory) is a unit of
information that replicates from brains or stores
of information such as books to other brains or
stores of information. In more specific terms, a
meme is a self-propagating unit of cultural
evolution, analogous to the gene (the unit of
genetics). The term was coined in l976 by
Richard Dawkins in his controversial best-selling
book The Selfish Gene.

Memes can represent parts of ideas, languages,
tunes, designs, skills, moral and aesthetic values
and anything else that is commonly learned and
passed on to others as a unit.

The study of evolutionary models of information

transfer is called memetics.

In casual use, the term meme is sometimes used

to mean any piece of information passed from
one mind to another.

This is much closer to the analogy of “Language

as a virus” than it is to Dawkin’s analogy of
memes as replicating behaviors.

Memes on the internet tend to proliferate for

periods of time then quietly die off, and many
start as obscure running jokes within net cliques
which gradually lose their original meaning or
otherwise become detached.

Some people consider absurdist humor to be a

good source of memes.

We often say the words: I have the mind of
Christ or I have the mind of Yeshua/Yahoshua
etc. 1 Corinthians 2:16 For who hath known the
mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But
we have the mind of Christ. KJV.

If we have the Word of Truth, mind and blood

of Christ/Messiah, we belong to Israel’s family.

Our minister’s voice ringing

With Holy messages—
Directing with God’s love,
Humbling us
Before Almighty God:
Bending knees,
Forgiving with blessings,
Hands locking hands
In prayer chains,
Hearts warming hearts
With joy faces.

We wear the seal

Of the King of Kings
And Lord of Lords.
We are born
And covered by his Royal blood;
Lead and guided into all Truth
By the Holy Spirit.
Praise the Lord!

Hearts circumcised
By his Holy words.
Our heartbeats breath—
Breathing out a new choir
Song to sing:
“I Am A Conqueror!”

Sermons preached,
Soothed souls
With Holy ointment . . .
Loosening tight lips.
Operating on hard hearts
Until mouths open saying . . .
I love you Jesus!
Glory Halleluyah!
I believe! I believe!
Praise the Lord!
This is the Revival Time Connection.

Remember Thomas:
John/Yochanan 20:25-29 The other disciples
therefore said unto Thomas, We have seen the Lord.
These disciples/Talmidims were connected through
their faith in the risen Savior.

But Thomas said unto the disciples, Except I shall

see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my
finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand
into his side, I will not believe.

This is a very serious situation; Thomas needed

proof more than the other disciples. Are you like
Thomas waiting for the right connection?

And after eight days again his disciples were within,

and Thomas with them then came Jesus, the doors
being shut, and stood in the midst and said.

 Peace be unto you.

Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger,

and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand,
and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but
believing.

And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord

and my God.

Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast

seen me, thou hast believed, blessed are they that
have not seen, and yet have believed.

Holy Spirit/Ruach HaKodesh is

saying blessed are those who are
connecting with my people
Through the Word of the Living
God of Yisrael.

Thomas touched his Jewish Messiah

And made “The Connection.” What
about you?
