Our Story
Years ago, while shopping on
vacation, we bought a pendant
that had color, fire and sparkle
like nothing we’d ever seen.
Almost every time Allison wore it,
people complimented her on its
beauty and uniqueness.
After hearing the stream of
compliments for a couple of years,
we began to research exactly what
these gems were. They were made
from something called dichroic
glass, and artists had discovered
they could craft it into unique
pieces of jewelry. We realized
that there was an opportunity
for a company that could develop
a process to craft these gems
in quantity, without sacrificing
the beauty and individuality
of artistic creation. Over the
next year, we developed the

for NASA, microscopic coatings
D E of semi-precious metals, such
as titanium and magnesium,
are applied to the surface of glass
in a vacuum chamber. These
coatings allow certain wave-
lengths of light to pass through,
while reflecting others. We see the
results of this ‘Dichroic’ (Die-cro-
n ig h t l i g hts ic) filtering process as stunning,
intense colors.
Note: Wine stoppers are designed for short term wine storage
only. Long term storage can cause flaking of the plating. Our artists assemble
combinations of our custom

F H types of glass, which are then
fused together in special high
temperature kilns multiple times,
often at temperatures of over
R ainbow W ind chimes 1500 degrees. Finally, the gems
are ground, polished and
findings added.
