Dear Board Members, I urge you to call another emergency meeting and reinstate coach O'brien as quickly as you

can. there is no letter from the CIF about coach O'brien. Why would the administration make it such a secret if such a letter existed, going so far as to deny Coach O'brien the right to look at the letter, when the CIF told them they had to show him a letter if they had one from the CIF? This exchange is recorded on video. Coach Schultz made accusations about recruiting middle school students, the rest period rule, and the Sunday rule, but the CIF found the accusations groundless. No such authentic letter from the CIF exists. You have been misled on this issue. I understand that Dr. Shawn has done good things for the school district. This does not, however, give him the right to abuse employees. This is not the first time the administration has lied. Coach O'brien won his grievance in 2010 because the administration was proven to have lied on a reprimand. Mr. Vanasdal admitted it. They changed the date of the recorded incident on the reprimand to make it appear that Coach O'brien did something wrong. Again, they refused to let Coach O'brien see the report until they were forced to. Why do you believe them now when they have been proven to lie about Coach O'brien in the past? In fact, why did you let the administration get away with it in the first place? You as the employer, and having great power, have the responsibility to care for your employees and not allow this type of abuse. Some to the many people who support coach O'brien are lawyers. I am no legal scholar. I am just a lowly police officer. When there is probable cause for an arrest, a police officer files a report with the district attorney. The district attorney, in this case the Public Integrity Division will decide what to do with the case, if anything. Lawyers, however, write much better reports. The main reason I am writing this letter, however, is Kathy considers you her friends, (in the case of Mr. Nguyen, Kathy considers your wife her friend), and you may not like what the future has in store for you unless you like weird smells, strange unmentionable acts, and being watched 24 hours a day in an institutional setting. You have seriously violated many state laws and ignorance of the law is not a defense. In fact, you have a duty to know the law considering your position and the authority you have to ruin someones's life, and tragically harm the lives of many children. Please get some council from people who care about you only. How hard could that be, especially if you are married to a lawyer, or have a lawyer in the immediate family? I would strongly advise you to not take the sole advise of the school administration in this matter. Specifically, look at the Brown Act, Government Code 3543.2(a), Penal Code 182(a), etc, etc, etc. You board members are our elected representatives, so there is no way to bring justice except through you.
