watching the Olympics. Our children need to learn how to be inspirational to other
people as well. Although we cannot always motivate our children, it is important to
help get them inspired to reach their goals and dreams. As parents, we need to be
excited and supportive of the things that help to inspire and motivate our children.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Paint a picture of what you see in

their immediate future. Visualizing the
future can give them an inspiration
to become motivated to reach those
dreams and goals.
Tell stories of what other people

have overcome and accomplished.
There are so many stories about
many different kinds of people that
overcame something to accomplish
their goals and dreams. Find someone
with a similar background to what
your children are trying to achieve
and share the story with them. Stories
are inspirational.
Help your children see how far they

have already come on their journey to
accomplishing their goals.
Help your children learn a new skill.
Celebrate your childrens progress.
Talk to your children about who in the

world inspires them and who they see
as leaders.
