The Cavite State University advocates and promotes initiatives towards a Clean, Green and Sustainable Environment. The University recognizes its significant role in maintaining a sustainable environment, that the future generation can benefit from. In response, the University since 2005 celebrates ARAW NG KALIKASAN. Araw ng Kalikasan is spearheaded by the CvSU Salinlahi a student organization whose core values include environmental stewardship and information dissemination toward the advocacy on environmental protection and conservation. Line-up of Activities 1. Exhibit to be participated in by students enrolled in EnSc 1 (BS Psychology) as a requirement in their course. Students in groups will showcase the current theme and will be judged based on a set of criteria. 2. Earth Run 3. Environmental Quiz Contest A. Inter High School Quiz Contest (for private and public high schools of 7th District of Cavite including Tagaytay, Mendez, Indang, Alfonso, Naic, Ternate, Magallanes, General Aguinaldo, and Maragondon) B. Inter-College/Campus Quiz Contest 4. Environista (for CAFENR students) 5. Inter-College/Campus 3D Poster Making Contest 6. Lecture Forum (suggested title: CvSU: the LABAC River Connection) a lecture to be attended by selected and interested audience from the University and immediate stakeholders of Labac River Basin or Watershed. The theme will be in line with proposal of the University as a Steward of the Labac River Basin. This will showcase past, current and future RDE and policy advocacy initiatives of the University and its partners. This will also introduce to the audience the River Basin Raffle

Draw Pangkalikasan this is a fund raising activity that will support future endeavors of the University for a Clean, Green and Sustainable Environment. Anybody from the audience can purchase tickets (no limit). The committee will decide on prizes and ticket price. This will be drawn on the night during the Environista. 7. CvSU Drive to Stewardship of the Labac River Basin A resolution will be drafted and pertinent government agencies will be sought to secure a binding document to indicate that CvSU will be proclaimed steward of the Labac River Basin.
