How to Enjoy Answered Prayers (12) 28/12/2008

Receive Answers Beyond What is Asked or Imagined

<Je 33:2-3, 1 Co 2:9; Ep 1:3-6, 15-23; 2:1-7, 19-22; 3:14-21; 1 Sam 1:10-11, 17-28; 2:1-10, 18-21>

Introduction: Every word that God speaks to us, is the covenant which He made with us using His entire life. Therefore,
the most blessed person on this earth is the one who truly believes God’s word. Hence, when a person knows God’s
promises through the word God gave him, becomes aware of God’s perfect will on him and follows, from that moment,
God has to use him and be zealous for him.
In the history of the Bible and churches, the commonality of truly [successful people] does not lie elsewhere but in the
special grace which they all had, and their [perspectives] which were different from the ordinary man! Their perspectives
were all based on the word that God told them, they believed, made judgments and submitted based on God’s word. The
Creator God thus fulfilled great things through their lives. Their stories (legacies) also did not end, the eras to come are
also blessed because of them, expanding the ministries they left behind.

1．
． The most abundant grace which God prepared for us in Christ <Ep 1:3-6， ，15-23； ；2:1-7， ，19-22；
；3:14-21>
1） My life is actually [connected to the heavenly throne], seated together with Jesus Christ in heaven
 Must confirm the link between my spirit and the heavenly throne (God’s perfect will and power), and thus always
use

2） My life is already linked to [Israel’s abundant and glorious inheritance]

 Must connect my life, career, experiences and stories to the stories and characters in the Bible

3） In my life, I already received [the mission, inheritance, crown of this era]

 Must know who I am, why I am born in this era...and then, distinguish between eras, distinguish the mission that
God gave me

4） In every era, God gave [epochal problems and the answers in Christ’s gospel] to [saints who will be greatly used]
 Must know: What are the problems of this era...What are the answers I need to grasp...

2．
． Uniqueness of people greatly used by God: Acquire the [desire of God], and [concerns and interests] are
different from the common people
For example: Moses and Israelites, Jacob and Esau, Joseph and his 10 brothers (distinguish those differences)
1） Typical example: Hannah’s prayer <1 Sam 1:10-11，17-28，2:1-10，18-21>
 Once Hannah acquired God’s desire (Nazirite = Revival of Israel), her prayer was answered

2） Only when I [restore the mission God has on my life], then my problems can be truly crushed
 Do not place attention on how the problems will be resolved, but must discover the great mission hidden within my
problems

3） In the problems I encountered, grasped the [absolute answer] in Christ’s gospel

For example: Spiritual problems, health problems, living problems, couple problems, children problems, interpersonal
relationships problems, financial problems, ministries problems, etc

4） Fastest way to break away from [binding and tormenting problems], is to centre my living on altar, brethren,
ministries
（1）Spend entire life with people with problems, will indirectly receive many answers
（2）Spend whole lifetime praying for those with problems, acquire the heart of a shepherd, and thus become strong
and courageous

5） In such a [life ideology] and [living operating system], then can enjoy the blessing of [receiving answers during
prayers]

3. Fulfill immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine <Ep 3:20, Je 33:3>
1） My most painful encounter is actually to fulfill the greatest thing (build God’s eternal kingdom, revive God’s people)

2） My most pressing problem unexpectedly causes me to receive the most complete answer (spirit, soul, body, living,
interpersonal relationships, etc)

3） Doors of evangelism open greatly, in my network of contacts, continue to see those who want to know God and
follow God

4） Descendants and those who come after me are blessed, see the new generation rise up to do God’s work
