RAYTHEON INTEGRATED DEFENSE SYSTEMS
Estimating and Pricing Analyst:
Responsible for Operations proposal management , conducting material and labor pricing for a number of Dept. of Defense and Foreign Military Sale contracts, varying from $500K to $30M Initializes proposals for the kick off to value streams, oversees the completion of their estimates, compiles cost summaries for delivery to program managers and business development Tasked with the challenge of restructuring and rewriting the current Bid Estimating Guide, leveraging my understanding of the Cost Estimating process in order to adhere to regulations and seek compliance with DCAA/DCMA Auditors
Collaborated with various audit teams to assess enterprise wide internal controls to effectively mitigate risk and develop recommendations for improvement, while maintaining a strong focus on Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) controls Leveraged my understanding of Earned Value Management (EVMS) to conduct an Estimate at Complete (EAC) Audit, testing select programs across the business units revenue recognition compliance and program performance metrics
Principally responsible for 4 significant international contracts combining for a total contract value of over $130 Million Analyzed weekly actuals, forecasts, and risks and opportunities to present to program managers and the finance leadership team Utilized an F15 program specific pricing model for several proposals to contribute to new business development and baselined new contracts adhering to the stringent EVMS regulations
Provided weekly labor, element of cost and financial metrics (bookings, cash, profit and revenue) analysis for the Space Systems Leadership team, consisting of over 25 highly classified programs while participating in the development of the AOP, 5 Year/ Strategic Plan, collaborating with specific programs to forecast depreciation and understand their capital expenditures
Created a new ROI model specifically for sustainability projects within IDS to accurately portray cost savings; worked closely with engineers on a wind turbine investment project to understand risk and opportunities to develop a sensitivity analysis model
Supported two programs with cost reporting, EVMS metrics, EAC inputs while leading a group of interns in the development of a sustainability business case for RTSC for delivery to senior leadership, striving to create business wide cost savings
Maintained the Company website, revising layouts for a more optimal interface, editing copy for online and print advertising Collaborated with Human Resources to create all marketing materials for the Companys Leadership Development Program Worked closely with the Sales team to understand demographics and consumer behavior through usage of the CRM system, and served as a liaison to the VP of Marketing and in an effort to develop new campaigns and an overall effective marketing strategy
