Military Structure & Logistics Act (05/09)

Parliament of eAustralia

Definitions: The following definitions defined below relate to this Act specifically:
GC = Government owned Company
DoDW = Department of Defence Weapons
DoDT = Department of Defence Tickets
MD = Medicare Diamonds
NMRC = National Medical Research Centre
SC = Squad Commander
BZ = Battle Zone
DB = Dropbears
ACUK = Australian Commando Unit - Koalas
ACAR = Australian Citizens Army Reserve
RB = Redbacks
MoD = Minister of the Department of Defence

Purpose: The Military Structure & Logistics (05/09) Bill defines the official units of the
Australian Military, their roles and their supply methods.

The use of the Military script found on http://portal.auserepublik.com can provide instant
updated data on the entire military, and the MoD/dMoD are responsible for running this script
before a supply occurs. This will determine who is eligible for supply, as defined below for each
unit. This ensures minimal upkeep/maintenance and pure focus on supply (for MoD/dMoD) and
rapport-building/motivation (for SC's).

Also, using the GC's and relying on high Quality Hospitals instead of gifting ensures the Military
is far more cost-effective, with it's only expenses being wages for the ADD GC's.

1. Dropbears
Size/Criteria:
- The Dropbears are to consist of the top 32 soldiers in Australia in terms of damage.
- These soldiers may not be 'landlocked' (Party President, Country President, Congress Member).
- These soldiers may not be a member of any other Military Unit

Supply:
- When a battle is active and Australia is directly involved (ie the WarGames), Dropbears receive
2 weapons per day, or 4 if they work for one of the 4 GC's shown in "Definitions" (as they are
working for a reduced wage, and the 2 weapons are compensation).
- Dropbears must be in the active BZ at the time of supply to receive weapons (generally, the
BZ will be the region with the highest Quality Hospital).

Squads/Squad Commanders:
- The Dropbears will consist of 4 units of 8 soldiers, each with a Squad Commander. The SC is
responsible for motivating it's squad, ensuring Dropbears are in active BZ & ensuring DB's have
enough free inventory to have weapons supplied.

2. ACU Koalas
Size/Criteria:
- The ACUK are to consist of the next top 32 soldiers in Australia (ie not strong enough to qualify
for Dropbears), or soldiers that would qualify for the Dropbears but are 'landlocked'.
- These soldiers may be 'landlocked' (Party President, Country President, Congress Member).
- These soldiers may be a member of the Redbacks, but not the Dropbears or ACAR.

Supply:
- When a battle is active and Australia is directly involved (ie the WarGames), ACUK soldiers
receive 1 weapon per day, or 3 if they work for one of the 4 GC's shown in "Definitions" (as they
are working for a reduced wage, and the 2 weapons are compensation).
- If the active BZ is outside Australia, then all landlocked ACUK do not qualify for weapons.
- ACUK must be in the active BZ at the time of supply to receive weapons.

Squads/Squad Commanders:
- The ACUK will consist of 4 units of 8 soldiers, each with a Squad Commander. The SC is
responsible for motivating it's squad, ensuring ACUK are in active BZ & ensuring they have
enough free inventory to have weapons supplied.

3. Redbacks
Size/Criteria:
- There is no size or squad requirements to the Redbacks.
- Redbacks may be a member of ACAR or ACUK, but not the Dropbears.

Roles:
The Redbacks are primarily in times of need assistants to the Military, under the direction of the
MoD. They undertake roles such as;
- Messaging new citizens and promoting forum, military & political activity.
- Messaging new citizens to promote use of using high Quality Hospitals to improve their
wellness (and ensuring these citizens meet the minimum 40 wellness required for this).

4. ACAR
Size/Criteria:
- There is no size or squad requirements to the ACAR.
- ACAR may be a member of the Redbacks, but not the Dropbears or ACUK.

Roles:
The ACAR are a collection of citizens who are not professional soldiers, but are willing to be
involved officially in the Military only during an invasion on Australian soil. If this were to occur,
an emergency proposal would be enacted to determine the orders/supply of weapons to these
soldiers.
