Holy City

Last night I lay a sleeping There came a dream so fair I stood in old Jerusalem Beside the temple there I heard the children singing And ever as they sang Me thought the voice of angels From heaven in answer rang Me thought the voice of angels From heaven in answer rang

Refrain:
Jerusalem Jerusalem lift up your gates and sing Hosanna in the highest hosanna to your king Jerusalem Jerusalem hark how the angels sing Hosanna in the highest hosanna to your king And then me thought my dream was changed The streets no longer rang Hushd where the glad hosannas The little children sang The son grew dark with mystery The mourn was cold and chill As the shadow of a cross arose Upon a lonely hill As the show of a cross arose Upon a lonely hill

STELLA MARIS
Kung itong aming paglalayag; inabot ng pagkabagabag Naway mabanagaan ka, hinirang na tala ng umaga

Koro:
Maria, sa puso ninuman Ikay tala ng kalangitan Ningning mo ay walang pagmamaliw, Inang sinta, inang ginigiliw Tanglawan kami, aming ina, Sa kalangitan naming pita Naway maging hantungan: Pinakamimithing kaharian

The first Noel

The first Noel, The angels did say; Was to certain poor shepherds In fields as they lay In fields where they lay Keeping their sheep On a cold winters night that was so deep

Ref: Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel!

Born is the king of Israel! They looked up and saw a star Shining in the east beyond them far And to the earth it gave light, And so it continued both day and And by the light of that same star Three wise men came from country far To seek for a king was their intent And to follow the star wherever it went. Refrain:

1. May the Pope, the bishops and all who exercise the ministry of leadership in the Church, the Lord will keep their commitment alive in the preaching of the Gospel. We pray

2. May all who work for the government realize that you are the model of a servant-leader and source of all goodness. Let them manifest your true nature through selfless service. We pray 3. May we receive the strength to make us worthy to fulfill our duties as Gods children and help us recognize your presence especially in the abandoned orphans. We pray 4. For our brothers and sisters who are sick, depressed, or victims of natural

calamities, may they realize the presence of Jesus, our redeemer, who is always at their side. We pray 5. May our parents, teachers, and people who molded us, feel the real happiness in life and continue witnessing their lives as true Christians not only to us but also to the people around them. We pray 6. May we students later on enjoy the benefits of good life in a future where our own countries can offer possibilities and challenging potentials that will harness our capabilities. We pray Your Excellency, we, the graduating pupils, present with joy these diplomas, medals, and other school awards for which we worked during our grade school years.

We ask you to pray that they will always remind us our duty to serve God and country with zeal and loyalty. ------------------------------------------------Fellow graduating students, though our grade school days are now about to end, let our fellowship last through the years. As we offer each about to sign of peace, let us always be united in love of Christ. Your Excellency, as these students begin a new stage in life, we ask you to invoke Gods blessing upon them and upon their parents, guardians, and teachers.
