AbstractWith the advancement of technology the computing devices are going to embed in our body. In this we discuss about advancement of the technology, a brief introduction to google glass, cloud computing. And implementation of existing Cloud Computing Strategies in Wearable devices. KeywordsGoogle glass, Cloud Computing
I. INTRODUCTION We have entered in to new era of computing via connected devices such as smartphones , tablets, and phablets , with the advanced technology from desktop PCs. In the computer smart era , consumers are very much driven by technology. we now have devices which monitor and respond to users based on gestures and context. So what is next, what is the future for mobile computing? We believe it is nextgen wearable devices next-gen. because the concept is not new. The first documented wearable computer came in 1961; Ed Thorpe and Claude Shannon, both mathematics professors at MIT, created a small device which could predict the octant where a roulette ball would drop and notify the bettor via a tone played into a speaker which octant to bet on. The device was designed to be used by two people, one wearing the input device and one wearing the output device to avoid detection. Other devices were created to help gamers cheat, particularly at blackjack and roulette. These devices were ultimately banned in Las Vegas in 1985. While not wearable devices as we would think of them today, these are nevertheless the forerunners of todays wearables devices that were designed to be hidden on the person and process data. The use of wearable devices connected to the smartphone in the fitness and sports environment has grown rapidly in the last two years with applications such as Nike+ and Fitbit Tracker allowing data from training sessions to be uploaded and analysed.
But what really excites us , is the Google Glass Project: a research and development program announced earlier this year by Google to develop a multi-function augmented reality display device, which we believe will be the next form factor for mobile computing, for displaying and performing functionalities similar to most smartphones. Even though this is not the first prototype device to be introduced into the market, the development from Google is expected to enhance consumer awareness and interest. Classified as a future form factor for computing devices, next generation wearables, including smart glasses and other head-mounted displays, will provide a multitude of functions either independently or in conjunction with a third party platform. Also, it is not just Google eyeing this space other key influential players such as Apple and Sony have already made key strategic moves in this sector.[1] Google unveiled Project Glass in April 2012 saying it started as a project in the company's not-sosecret Google X research lab. They are just coming up on the one-year point, which makes it a good time to round up and summarize what they have learned so far. There's no final list price yet.[2] we can share videos online in social networking sites using google glass, this can be done via cloud.
II. About Google Glass What is Google's Project Glass? It is the attempt to make wearable computing mainstream, and it's effectively a smart pair of glasses with an integrated heads-up display and a battery hidden inside the frame.Wearable computing is not a new idea, but Google's enormous bank account and can-do attitude means that Project Glass could well be the first product to do significant numbers. Originally Project Glass was mooted for a public release in 2014 at the earliest but the latest news on the Google Glass release date suggest it's beginning

to look like we could see consumer units by the end of 2013. That's because the prototype Explorer units are becoming an increasingly common site around San Francisco - and Google is even allowing competition 'winners' to pay $1,500 to get these early offerings. The core of Google Glass is its tiny prism display which sits not in your eyeline, but a little above it. You can see what is on the display by glancing up. The glasses also have an embedded camera, microphone, GPS and, reportedly, use bone induction to give you sound.Voice control is used to control the device; you say 'ok glass' to get a range of options including taking pictures, videos, send messages using speech to text, 'hang out' with people or get directions to somewhere. You access these options by saying them out loud. Most of this functionality is self explanatory; hang out is Google's video conferencing technology and allows you to talk to a people over web cam, and stream them what you are seeing and the directions use Google Maps and the inbuilt GPS to help you find your way.The results are displayed on the prism - essentially putting data into your view like a head up display (HUD). It's potentially incredibly handy. People are already developing some rather cool/scary apps for Google Glass - including one that allows you to identify your friends in a crowd, and another that allows you to dictate an email. An FCC filing in the US revealed many potential details, suggesting that Wi-Fi and Bluetooth would be used to send pictures to the screen, whilst bone-induction may be used for sound, vibrating your skull to communicate the sound into your inner ear. It's not a new technology, but certainly does have critics who suggest that it falls short of traditional headphones. We don't have a lot of the final details on specs just yet - but expect Google Glass to run modified Android, to sport a decent resolution camera with a decent lens and we'd be fairly certain that the microphone needs to be a good quality. There will be a GPS chip, and the lightweight and flexible glasses design will come in five colours Charcoal,Tangerine, Shale, Cotton, Sky. That's black, orange, grey, white and blue for anyone that prefers plain English over marketing speak.[3] Google is experimenting with designs that will fit over existing glasses so you don't have to wear two lots of specs. III. Cloud Computing Cloud computing provides the facility to access shared resources and common infrastructure, offering services on demand over the network to perform operations that meet changing business needs. The location of physical resources and devices being accessed are typically not known to the end user. It also provides facilities for users to develop, deploy and manage their applications on the cloud, which entails virtualization of resources that maintains and manages itself.[4] IV.Proposed Technology Managing the data is very important , We can manage the data through the cloud. The cloud computing strategies which we are using in desktop can be used in the Wearable devices too. We can use the cloud to share videos, photos online. The existing Cloud Computing apps can be accesed through google glass. V. CONCLUSION Even though the computing devices are going to embed in human. The computing stratagies will not be complete different we can change the interface and use the same stratagies.
