RECRUITMENTOFCONSULTANTS,RESEARCHASSISTANTANDSUPPORTSTAFF ONCONTRACTBASIS Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India has set up a Technical Support Group on Teacher Education (TSG-TE) which would provide support to the Ministry for data collection, analysis of information received through the MIS, assist with the appraisal of Annual Work Plans of the State Government, analyze the Reports received from the Monitoring agencies. For implementation of this Scheme, applications are invited for the following positions:S. No. 1. Position Chief Consultant (Teacher Education) (01post) Minimumqualification Essential: Natureofexperience

Essential : 10 years relevant experience in the field of Teacher A Post Graduate Education in either of the following: Degree in Social Science or Education Experiences of pre-service and In-service teachers training from recognized university. Planning, Policy Making and Implementation of Teachers Education at Central/State Knowledge of Government level. Computer Application viz. MS Word, Excel, Research in Education/Teacher Power Point etc. Education Monitoring and Evaluation of Desirable: Teachers Education at Central/State Government level. A Ph.D. Degree in the Management for conduct of field of Education/ Teacher Education Programmes Psychology/ Education. in Teaching Institutions at Central/State Government level. Candidate must have a good understanding about various teacher education programmes and government approach for Teacher Education in India. Desirable: Experience of working with flagship scheme of GOI in the field of Teacher Education.

Minimum qualification Essential:

Nature of experience

Essential : 5 years relevant experience in either of the following: A Post Graduate Degree in Social Science or Science or Research in Education, Education from a Monitoring and Evaluation of recognized university. projects in Education Appraisal and follow-up of the Knowledge of Annual Work Plan and Budget. Computer Application Management of conduct of viz. MS Word, Excel, Teacher Education Programmes Power Point etc. in Teaching Institutions or at Central/State Government level. Desirable: Candidate must have a good A Ph.D. Degree in understanding about various Social Science or teacher education programmes in Science or Education atleast one or more geographical from a recognised region of India (North, West, South, University. East and North East). Desirable: Experience of working with flagship scheme of GOI in the field of Teacher Education.

Consultant (Teacher Education) (05posts)

Essential:

Essential : 2 years relevant experience in either of the following:

A Post Graduate Degree in Social Research in Education Science or Science or Monitoring and Evaluation of Education from a projects in Education recognized University. Appraisal and follow-up of the Annual Work Plan and Budget. Knowledge of Computer Application Management of conduct of viz. MS Word, Excel, Teacher Education Programmes Power Point etc. in Teaching Institutions or at Central/State Government level. Desirable: A Ph.D. Degree in Social Science or Science or Education from a recognised University.

Essential: Two years minimum relevant research experience in the AMasterDegreeinSocial fieldofEducation. Science/Science/ Education Statistics/ Financial Management from a recognized University Knowledge of Computer Application viz. MS Word, Excel, Power Point etc.

Age not more than 35 yearsason1.8.2013 Essential: Minimum 5 years Support Staff Essential: experience in Typing, Noting (Category-I) Bachelor Degree in any Drafting in MS Office; Tabulation in (WPO / from Excel; Presentation on Power Point Stenographer) discipline recognized university etc. with Typing Speed @ 40 (06posts) WPM Desirable: Preference will be given to those candidates who have Desirable: experience of Shorthand. Shorthand speed @ 80 WPM Age not more than 35 yearsason1.8.2013 GENERAL INFORMATION

7. Theagelimits:ForChiefConsultant/SeniorConsultant/Consultantmaximumis62years as on 1.8.2013. However, this age limit may be relaxed for a period not exceeding 03 years for applicants possessing outstanding achievements. For Research Assistant and SupportStaffmaximumageisnotmorethan35yearsason1.8.2013. 8. Applicationsreceivedafterduedatewillbeoutrightlyrejected. 9. Merelyfulfillingeligibilitycriteriawillnotconferanyrightuponthecandidatetobecalled forinterview. 10. The range of remuneration for the post of Consultants is given below. The remuneration to be offered for these posts will be within the given range, commensurate with the qualification, experience and overall performance in the interview of an individual candidate.
