T-Slot: T-Slot is the same size for all profiles, with a width of 8.5 mm. The T-Slots are sized for standard M8 with head 13mm and standard nuts with an outer dimension of 13 mm. Square and hexagonal nuts and screws cannot twist in the T-Slot. Standard 5/16 fasteners are also suitable for use in all profile T-Slots.

The profile system has one T-Slot for all sizes of extrusions. All TSlots are designed for standard nuts and screws. Standard screws of M8 and 5/16 are used. All fastening elements are corrosion protected. The necessary planning and processing for profile connections is minimal. Joints using angles and brackets are not required. Standard Fasteners need 1 thread M8. There is no other machining required. The thread M8 must be processed by using a thread former in order to achieve higher tensile strength in the thread area. The bore 7.5 is designed accordingly. Bolt and butt fasteners need step drilling with a special step drill. All joints are adjustable in the T-Slot. This allows easy adjustment of profiles or attachments. Large profiles may be connected by using multiple fasteners.

There are two assembly modes that have to be distinguished: The mounting of elements into the profile T-Slot and the subsequent attachment of panel elements. The mounting of elements into the T-Slot has to be pre-planned. It is recommended that elements be assembled in a complete frame that can be fitted into existing constructions. This assembly method is of particular use for large panel elements, corrugated mesh and sealing constructions. Subsequent mounting of panel elements is easier to perform and causes less damage.

Mounting of Panel Elements into Profile T Slot

Cover Profiles Panel elements of max. 6 mm thickness can be mounted directly into the profile T-Slot by using Cover Profile PVC. Allow an enlargement of panel element in x and y direction of + 25 mm (2x TSlot depth)

Insert Seals Sheet material, plastic panels, and panes, etc. from 2 to 6 mm (1/8 to ) can easily be mounted and sealed with insert seals. The seals are subsequently pressed into free space between panel element and profile TSlot with a blunt tool made from wood or plastic. Allow an enlargement of panel element in x and y direction of + 25 mm (2x TSlot depth)
