1. Take a UddharaNNi of water from left hand and pour into your right hand. 2. Hold it until the entire mantra is recited. 3. Inhale deeply while smelling the water through the left nostril. 4. Hold your breath for a moment 5. Exhale deeply through the right nostril imagining that all your paapa is being discharged (or removed) 6. Throw the water onto the left side of your seat
