It was easily job to run of the questionnaire since we are from the same unit, which is J unit. The questionnaire was given to our classmates, roommates, as well as getting the opinion from a few lecturers. Even when have a GERKO , we use the free time to give the questionnaire. Otherwise, it was hard to find

respondents from F unit and KPLI. This is because, we are rarely meet these seniors since they were living outside our campus. Malay RACES 24 Chinese 6 Indian 4 Others 6

Yes No

The tables shows 2 respondents agree to held night lecture (5%) and 38 respondents are not agree (95%). Based on the survey that we had carried out, 95 % representing of 38 respondents agreed that we should not attend and held a night lectures. While, 5 % representing of only 2 respondents said that we should or have to held a night lectures. There are many reasons for them to said so. Most of the students disagree to have the night lectures maybe because they see the weakness of held a class at night. Full time classes in the morning, causing them to feel tired and weary. So, there were high probability and chances for them to lost their focus and felt sleepy in the night lectures. As a student, absolutely we ever faced the situations and that was normally in students life.

Conversely, those who agree to held a night lectures might have a specific reason, such as they feel this is a great opportunity to gain more knowledge and so on.

Other reasons

The table showed five reasons why the night lectures are held. Based on the analysis that carried out, the lack of class is the highest reason why the night lectures need to be held, which is 45% represent of 18 respondents. 25 % representing 10 respondents choose replace class as the factor that contribute to this case, followed up by 12.5 % represent 5 respondents said they are just follow the schedule. Meanwhile, 10 % represent 4 respondents give the reasons

of shortage of the lecturer and 7.5 % represent 3 respondents state the other reasons. Undeniably, the lack of class is the main factor lead to this problem. Due to too many classes or units, we had to share the use of a class with other unit. Classes in the morning are too full and that is one reason why some classes need to replace their class in the night lectures. In this case, we cannot blame the administration fully because the less of space and cost also provoked us not to build another classroom building. Besides, shortage of the lecturer is also one of the reasons. Some lecturers were busying to attend their meeting, seminars abroad, observe the PBS students and so on. In order to complete the time or credits, they were asking their student to had a night lectures. Followed the schedule also cause to this problem. Some classes finish their class lately until 7 pm. Supposedly, our institute administrations need to arrange the schedule wisely, which is had a classes until 4 pm. Hence, it will not give the burden to student as well as the lectures.
