Project Description: GCM is the Central Repository,where any system can take data from GCM for their execution. GCM-EIG mainly deals with the validation of data from SOURCE to TARGET Systems.There are various systems like OTP,Vision Plus,CIS (SOURCE SYSTEMS) from which the data is extracted by running the batch jobs though CONTROL-M.The data in the form of UNIX FLAT file is acquired through Mainframe Systems(FTPied) and landed into EIG SERVERS.The data is stored into the respective STAGING TABLES.The corresponding transformation jobs (GENERATION) is triggered containing the respective TRANSFORMATION RULES.EIG validates the data(fields) according to the business transformation rules after which the data is published and finally delivered to the TARGET Systems in the form of UNIX FLAT files to the GCM servers. The GCM processes the Flat files by running the PPP(Pre-Pre Processing),PP(Pre Processing-Loads the data in the GCM EIM TABLES) and CV load jobs after which the data is finally loaded into the GCM BASE TABLES. Responsibilities: Acquisition,transformation ,publication and Delivery jobs running through CONTROL-M . To check the Informatica log for failed jobs at workflow level or CONTROL-M sysout for various reasons. Changing the Parameters like(Remote_Host,File_Name etc) though SMD Parameters. Analysing the DTD,TSD for Test Case scenarios creation. Creating the Test Cases , uploading to HP QC and mapping the requirements. Test Case Execution using HP Quality center in various environments like ST : EIG SIT1--QRZ(UCM /GCM Server) EIG SIT2-QUZ(UCM/GCM Server) Similarly SIT and UAT in other respective environments.
