About JISSE-9
R&D of new materials and processing technology are key elements in product development. Japan International SAMPE Symposium & Exhibition (JISSE) is held approximately every two years in Japan and the past JISSE had provided exciting sessions which were reflecting the economical status and technology trend for exchanging knowledge and information about materials and processing technology. In JISSE-9, we have four Plenary Lectures and three Special Evening Lectures, three Sponsored Sessions (sponsored by Shonan Institute of Technology, Kanazawa Institute of Technology and JAXA. We also have General Sessions which focus on the following: (1) Materials and Processing for Automobile and Ground Transportation, (2) Design and Manufacturing Technology for Aerospace and Marine Structures, (3) New Materials and Fabrication Technology, (4) Polymer Matrix Composite, (5) Metals, Ceramics, Carbon and Their Composites, (6) CAD/CAM/CAE and Computational Engineering, (7) Development and Applications and (8) Measurement and Nondestructive Evaluation. Market Trend Panel and Special Tutorial Seminar are aimed at discussing and sharing the latest technology of materials and processing for your application. Additionally, the CAD/CAM/CAE training course is planned as well as the introductory course on FRP fabrication for students. This JISSE-9 is now to be held from the 29th of November till the 2nd of December 2005 in Tokyo. We hope you will exchange useful information and find a valuable opportunity and new colleagues for your business. We look forward to seeing you in the conference.

INTRODUCTORY COURSE ON FRP FABRICATION FOR STUDENTS

Various robots contests and solar car races are hold elsewhere in the world, at the present days. They provide good opportunities for high school and university students to study about manufacturing and mechanical system. For the future, to aspire to achieve higher level of performance, we hope for heavy use of FRP components. Introductory course on FRP fabrication for students targets mainly high school and university students who are interested in manufacturing with FRP. Also, we welcome who coaches students in a school. The course holds beginners course two days, intermediate course one day, total three days. Each course includes a class in which the students can study basic knowledge and practical training of FRP fabrication. Further details and registration of introductory course will be obtained from the web site. We welcome you to join. This course is conducted in Japanese.
