Undoubtedly, this religion is a religion of detail.

Allaah, The All-Knowing, All-Wise, said:

Alif-Laam-Raa. (This is) a Book, the Verses whereof are perfected (in every
sphere of knowledge, etc.), and then explained in detail from One (Allaah),
Who is All-Wise and Well-Acquainted (with all things). (Hud, ayah 1)

This means perfect in its wording, detailed in its meaning. Thus, it is complete in its
form and its meaning. This interpretation was reported from Mujaahid and
Qatadah...This means that it (the Qur`an) is from Allaah, Who is Most Wise in His
statements and His Laws, and Most Aware of the final outcome of matters...This
Qur`an descended - perfect and detailed - with the purpose of Allaah's worship alone,
without any partners.

...And We have also sent down unto you (O Muhammad) the Dhikr (Sunnah)
that you may explain clearly to men what is sent down to them... (An-Nahl,
ayah 44)

Meaning, sent down from their Lord, because you [meaning Muhammad, salallaahu
'alayhi wa sallam] know the meaning of what Allaah has revealed to you, and because
of your understanding and adherence to it, and because We know that you are the
best of creation and the leader of the Children of Adam. So that you may explain in
detail what has been mentioned in brief, and explain what is not clear.

Shaikh Abu 'Uthmaan Muhammad Al-Anjaaree (hafidhahullaah) said: "So how did the
Prophet (salallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) clarify that which was already revealed to us? He
(salallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) clarified with details, either by revelation, by way of the
Qur`an and Sunnah, or when questions arose. As in the case when one asked him
about Dhulm (oppression), he said: It is Shirk. And when asked concerning Sidrat Al-
Muntaha, he (salallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said: It was Jibreel. And other than that. So
the Prophet used to provide details. And if a questioner came with a question that the
Prophet (salallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) did not know the answer to, revelation would
come down to him.

Hence the Prophet (salallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) clarified and gave detail in his
clarification. And from his action was detail. Allaah commanded us to establish
the salat, and the Prophet - by his actions - gave us a detailed description of the salat.
And he (salallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said: Pray as you have seen me
pray. [Bukhaaree] Hence, the Prophet came as a clarifier of the Religion, with details
and clarity for the Ummah. Thus, we are upon the clear way and the evident path of
the Religion of Allaah. This does not accept ambiguity. This matter - meaning the
Religion - does not accept what, my brothers? It does not accept ambiguity. For the
Deen is clear and evident and explicit for everyone.

The Prophet (salallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) left for us this Deen as the Salaf - from them
Abu Hurairah (radiallaahu 'anhu wa arda) - have said: 'The Messenger of Allaah left
us, and there was not a bird flapping its two wings in the sky except that we
have some knowledge concerning it.' Ibn Hibban recorded it with a sound chain
of narration.

Meaning there's no command except that we have detail concerning it, and
there's no prohibition except that it has been clarified with the utmost clarity.

Likewise, Ikrimah (rahimahullaah) said: 'The Messenger of Allaah (salallaahu 'alayhi wa
sallam) did not die except that he left us upon a clear methodology.' Look at this
terminology. Ikrimah is saying that the Messenger of Allaah (salallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam)
did not die until he had left us the path, the way, the minhaj as a clear methodology.
Related by Ad-Daarimee, and the men in its chain are all trustworthy.

Now this has become a clear issue, and it is a magnificent principle from the
principles of al-Islaam. That we believe beyond the shadow of a doubt that the
Messenger of Allaah left us upon whiteness (clarity). That the Prophet clarified to us
with an unparalleled clarity of the truth, the Deen and the Command of Allaah. The
Prophet (salallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) left behind clear details for everyone..."

Allaah's Messenger (sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) said: I have left you upon clear proof
(clarity), its night is like its day. No one deviates from it except one who is
destroyed. [Ahmad, Ibn Majah, Al-Haakim; declared Saheeh by Al-Albaanee]

Allaah, The Most High, said:

And thus do We explain the Ayaat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs,
revelations, etc.) in detail, that the way of the Mujrimoon (criminals,
polytheists, sinners), may become manifest. (Al-An'aam, ayah 55)

In the previous lecture, Shaikh Al-Anjaaree (hafidhahullaah) had said: "The
Prophet (salallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) came with al-Mufassal (that which is detailed and
specific). When the Prophet (salallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) came, (he came) with al-
Mufassal. And this is a faariq (that which distinguishes and differentiates) between
the da'watul-Haqq (the call to the Truth) and all of the other da'waat (all other calls).

So beware, O 'Abdullaah, of the mujmalaat (the generalities)! Our da'wah is
the da'watus-Salafiyyah [i.e. it is clear and detailed and specific]. From
the mujmalaat is seeking knowledge (talabul-'Ilm), a general statement. From
the mujmalaat is giving importance to the books of Shaykhul-Islaam Ibn
Taymiyyah. From the mujmalaat (generalities) is (saying), 'I am a graduate of the the
Islaamic University (of al-Madeenah).' From the mujmalaat is 'Obedience to the Walee
al-Amr is obligatory.' From the mujmalaat is warning against the takfeerees."

One of the many deceptions and tricks that Ahlul-Bid'ah employ is putting forth
general texts concerning detailed situations, pretending to not know the detail and the
exceptions and the specifics in order to deceive the Muslims and misguide them.

For example, in order to seek support from the ignoramuses in their opposition to the
clarification of the truth and refutations of falsehood - especially their own errors in
'aqeedah and manhaj - Ahlul-Bid'ah (among them Ikhwanul Muslimoon) put forth the

Even some of the Khawaarij will outwardly say "rebelling against the rulers is haram," but when they feel
comfortable in their surroundings, they will add the phrase "unless he's oppressive" or "unless he's
unjust." And, of course, the ruler is not be rebelled against - even if he is oppressive or unjust, as has come in
the ahadeeth of Allaah's Messenger (salallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam). And keep in mind, these people with the
ideology of the Khawaarij found/find fault with 'Uthmaan and 'Ali (radiallaahu 'anhum); rather their
founder Dhul-Khwaisrah found fault with the Prophet of Allaah (salallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam)!!!

Rather, they deem every ruler unjust or oppressive. And even when one of their own becomes a ruler, they
still rebel. They are Khawaarij.

Prophet's (salallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) hadeeth that encourages the concealing of the
sins of one's brother, and its virtues.

When, of course, there's no contradiction.

For example, if you see your brother committing a sin such as drinking alcohol and
you see from him that he is not advertising it or he's in fact trying to hide it, then you
advise him in private and you conceal this about him. And you will in-sha`Allaah enter
into that hadeeth and be rewarded, and have your sins concealed.

However, if the sinner sins openly - advertising his sin - such as the one who calls
to opposing the Qur`an and Sunnah by rallying others to rebel against the rulers, or by
calling to the worship of the graves or by calling to the denial of Allaah's Attributes or
by calling to curse the companions, then those who have the ability are commanded
to refute him and his falsehood (Shirk, Bid'ah) for the benefit of the Ummah - so that
the Muslims do not follow him upon that crooked path of misguidance.

In this case, only a "mute shaytan" would remain quiet, as the scholars have clarified
regarding the one who has the ability to refute but remains quiet.

In the first case of
the individual not sinning openly, the scholars have said this is what is intended by a
"praiseworthy concealment." However, in the case of the one misguiding

Verily, those who conceal the clear proofs, evidences and the guidance, which We have sent down,
after We have made it clear for the people in the Book, they are the ones cursed by Allaah and cursed
by the cursers. (Al-Baqarah, ayah 159)

Student Abu Khadeejah (hafidhahullaah), while reading from Shaikh Saalih al-Fawzaan's (hafidhahullaah) Sharh
of Sharh-us-Sunnah, relayed that this ayah concerning those who conceal the guidance is not limited to the
Innovators, but also includes those who remain silent concerning Ahlul-Bid'ah. Allaah's Messenger (salallaahu
'alayhi wa sallam) said: The curses of Allaah, the angels and all of mankind are upon those who
innovate and the one who accommodates them.

the Muslims, calling them to oppose the Qur`an and Sunnah, then this silence and
concealment is "dis-praiseworthy" and in imitation of shaytan.

There's no contradiction whatsoever! Rather, this is from the detail of the religion.
And failure to refute and warn against misguidance and falsehood and evil brings
about division and disunity, and incurs the Anger of Allaah, and is a reason for the
slave's supplication to not be answered.

Another famous example of the tricks that Ikhwanul Mufliseen employ in order to
seek support from the ignoramuses in their objective to abolish the refutations of
falsehood - again, especially their own errors in 'aqeedah and manhaj - is they put
forth the general text from the Qur`an and Sunnah regarding the prohibition of
backbiting.

And again, of course, there is no contradiction.

The origin of backbiting is that it is not only haram, but rather a major sin. However,
there are six legislated exceptions to (permissible forms of) backbiting that are
extracted from the Qur`an and Sunnah.

Among them is warning against the
Innovators. In fact, some scholars don't even call refuting the innovators an exception
to backbiting; rather they say: this is from Naseeha (Sincere Advice) to the
Ummah, and from the door of enjoining the good and forbidding the evil.

The Messenger of Allaah (salallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) warned against Hurqus Dhul-
Khwaisrah at-Tamimee - behind his back! - and warned with precise detail against him
and those who would adopt his ideology after him. And the Messenger of Allaah

Imam An-Nawawee (rahimahullah) listed them and explained them - with detail - in chapter 256 of his
famous book Riyaadh-us-Saliheen. The Innovators are mentioned three times in these six exceptions to
backbiting. But be warned that the english translation (of Darus-Salaam) is missing the detail
regarding warning against the Innovator that should in the sub-section of the fourth exception; it is oddly not
there. In the spanish translation translated by Ahmed Safi, the whole section has been omitted. Allaahul
Musta'aan! Very odd, to say the least!

(salallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) warned against the Qadariyah by name. And likewise, the
Sahaaba and the rest of the Salaf warned against deviants by name. And this is what
one finds in the Qur`an that Allaah warned against deviants and false religions and
false beliefs and ideologies. And Allaah commanded His Messenger (salallaahu 'alayhi
wa sallam) - and all the Messengers ('alayhimi salaam) - to warn against ad-Dajjal (the
Anti-Christ). And the anti-Christ is a human being!

Shaikh Al-Anjaaree also said: "Whoever wishes to depart from that which is detailed
to that which is general (and) whoever wishes to depart from that which separates
(between truth and falsehood) to that false unity, then in reality this one has
departed from Sirat-ul-Mustaqeem (The Straight Path)."

He has the left The Straight Path!

The truth is these Ikhwanees don't want to separate between truth and falsehood.
This is why the Imam of al-Jarh wat-Ta'deel, al-'Allamah Rabee' Bin Haadee al-
Madkhalee - hafidhahullaah - called them a dangerous enemy to Ahlus-Sunnah.

Shaikh Rabee' said: "Nowadays there exists in the arena those who wage war
against Ahlus-Sunnah and call them ghulaat (extremists). So they have
insultingly named Ahlus-Sunnah with ghuloo(extremism), with which they
attach them to the misguided groups. They have derisively named Ahlus-
Sunnah with ghuloo because they (Ahlus-Sunnah) place the people of bid'ah in
their appropriate level - just as the Salaf-us-Saleh placed them - and they deal
with those people in accordance to the path of Salafiyyah, the way those people
of the past (such as the companions) dealt with the people of bid'ah.

However, these people do not desire that, they do not want for you to say that
Ikhwanul Muslimeen are such, nor that the Tableeghis are such, nor that so
and so a group is such. They say (about themselves) that we have a vast and
expansive manhaj, it includes Ahlus-Sunnah and it includes the entire
Ummah, it includes Ahlus-Sunnah. And according to them Ahlus-Sunnah is
Jama'ah at-Tableegh and Ikhwanul Muslimeen.

The sect of Ikhwanul Muslimeen includes other sects from the misguided
sects whom Ikhwanul Muslimeen bring together, such as the Rawaafid along
with their various groups and the Soofiyah along with their various groups.

All people of bid'ah are present within the organization known as Ikhwanul
Muslimeen - even the Christians enter into this organization!

So when you say that they are people of bid'ah, they describe you with ghuloo.
The Tableeghis take bay'ah (oath of obedience) with the four Soofi paths;
Soofiyah has within it hulool (deviant belief that Allaah exists within His
creation) and Wahdat al-Wujood (deviant belief that Allaah and His creation
are one and the same), Shirk, bid'ah and misguidance. When you say about
them that they are Innovators, they describe you with ghuloo. Such people are
from the most dangerous enemies to Ahlus-Sunnah, so beware of them and
their trickery."

And keep in mind that these same tricksters and deceivers such as Ikhwanul
Mufliseen actually employ the like of this detail when it is in accordance with their
desires.

If they are injured and are unable to pray standing - because the origin is to pray
standing - they know that they have a license to pray seated, and if they are unable to
pray seated, they know that they can pray laying down, etc...and they know this from
the hadeeth that explains this detail. They know this and they themselves employ this
detail when it suits them. You don't hear from them the same doubts in this affair.

Likewise, the origin is to fast in Ramadan, but if the person is sick or travelling, he has
a license to break the fast, and make up the day after Ramadaan. They know this, and
they themselves employ this detail when it suits them. Again, you don't hear from
them the same doubts in this affair.

And the same with zakat (if one doesn't have the means) and Hajj (if one doesn't have
the means or ability) and many, many other matters of the Religion, such as wuddoo
(making tayamum in the absence of water). This is a detailed Religion.

And others who after salatul-Subh (i.e. Salatul Fajr) will immediately stand up and start
praying. And if you come to teach them of the prohibition of praying after Subh until
the sun rises, they'll ignore the detail and resort to the origin and say: 'Is praying
haram?' And likewise, some of them insist on fasting on either or both of the 'Eids,
aoodhubillaah! And they will say, "Is fasting haram?" Yes, it is haram on this day,
yes! This is from the detail of the religion.

Yet these people don't have to be told twice that - although the origin is to stop at a
red light and remain there waiting for the green light - that they can make a right turn
during a red light if:

a) THE ROAD IS CLEAR, and
b) There is no, NO-TURN-ON-RED sign.

Thus, when the road is clear and there's nothing preventing them, they don't have any
problem making a right. Why? Because it suits them. It's in accordance with their
desires.

Likewise, these people don't have to be told twice that such and such a product is
$100 - UNLESS YOU HAVE THAT 50%-OFF COUPON. If they have that
coupon, they will give the cashier $50, not $100. Why? Because it suits them. It's in
accordance with their desires.

And thus, from them are those who have horrible manners with Allaah. You say to
one of them, "akhee, baarak Allaahu feek, this person you have invited to give this
lecture calls to Wahdatul-Wujood and worshipping the graves - both of these
affairs are kufr. This would be a major fitnah for the community." And he says back
to you, "akhee, backbiting is haram. Fear Allaah."

Na'am, backbiting is haram and fearing Allaah is a must, however this is not
backbiting, and you also need to fear Allaah.

Rather, from the benefits of Taqwa is distinguishing truth from falsehood. In his
book The Benefits of Fearing Allaah, Shaikh Muhammad Ibn Salih al-'Uthaimeen
(rahimahullaah) mentioned as the fourth benefit of taqwa: "Taqwa causes the servant of

Allaah to be successful in distinguishing the truth from falsehood, and to have
knowledge of each one of them. Allaah, The Most High, says:

O you who believe! If you obey and fear Allaah, He will grant you Furqaan a
criterion (to judge between right and wrong)... (Al-Anfal, ayah 29)."

And in the tafseer of this ayah from Tafseer Ibn Katheer - which is also included in
Shaikh al-'Uthaimeen's highly beneficial book - is the following statement of Imam
Ibn Katheer (rahimahullaah): "Whoever has taqwa of Allaah by obeying His commands
and abandoning what He has prohibitted will be given the ability to recognize truth
from falsehood."

Another benefit of Taqwa that Shaikh al-'Uthaimeen brought: is defending the
Religion. He said: "Indeed, taqwa is a means of attaining guardianship of Allaah's
Deen. For verily, the guardians of Allaah's Deen are the ones who fear Him. Allaah,
The Most High, says:

,

...Its (true) guardians are not but the Mutaqoon... (Al-Anfal, ayah 34)."

So true taqwa leads one to distinguish truth from falsehood, as well as defending the
Religion - and not defending the Innovators who innovate into the Religion.

SubhanAllaahi Wa Bi-Hamdihi.

Ahlul-Bid'ah pretend to not know the detail and the specifics and the exceptions. And
this pretending of theirs is from ignorance anyway, because they cannot deceive The
All-Knowing, The All-Aware, The One Who will judge us all on the Day of
Judgment.

Corruption in the heart leads to corruption upon the tongue and limbs. Imams
Bukhari and Muslim recorded from the hadeeth of Nu'man ibn Basheer that the
Messenger (salallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) said: Verily within the body is a morsel of
flesh. Whenever it is sound, the whole body will be righteous and sound. And
whenever it becomes corrupted, then the whole body will become corrupted. It
is the heart.

As Shaikh Muhammad bin 'Abdillaah al-Imaam (hafidhahullaah) said: "Allaah will make
apparent the actions of the heart concerning good and evil deeds on the Day of
Judgement. Then the person who has a wicked heart will be disgraced in front of all
of humanity, all of creation! Hence, the actions of the heart - that which angers Allaah
and wages war against Allaah, and no one is able to be aware of that except for Allaah
'Azza wa Jall - will be present on the Day of Resurrection.

That person will be disgraced. How many people in the dunya think it will be
easier (more likely) to have the earth swallow him up than people becoming
aware of his evil intentions, his corrupted goals. And suddenly, on the Day of
Resurrection, he will be disgraced before all of creation.

And thus these people of bid'ah and dis-praiseworthy concealment deceive those who
are not firm, and thus it becomes clear that these people are suppressing the extent of
the manifestation of distinguishment between truth and falsehood.

Shaikh Al-Anjaaree (hafidhahullaah) said: "There will come some obstruction in the
road and some resistence to this poor Sunni, Salafee, the detailed one, the companion
of the evident criterion. From Who? From the people who gather under the
banners from the children of Islamic political movements and from the parties of
bid'ah who doubt this magnificent principle (of detail and of distinguishing between
truth and falsehood). And the companions of banners, companions of Islamic
political methodologies, the companions of bid'ah and innovated groups who
continually say, "Stop. Why are you always constantly preaching this principle (separating between
truth and falsehood; calling to Tawheed, forbidding Shirk, calling to the Sunnah, forbidding bid'ah,
refuting falsehood, forbidding evil). Why are you on this ancient affair? Refrain from it."

The Shaikh (hafidhahullaah) also said that this resistance makes the person who is not
firm - upon Salafiyyah, Sunniyah - to harbor doubts as a result of this resistance. They
(the political groups) lie in wait for this poor Salafee, and bring to him new affairs and
new objectives every day, day after day. Whereas the truth is one and does not change.

In his excellent book At-Taqwa and Its Effects and the Characteristics of the
Pious and their Recompense, Shaikh Rabee' (hafidhahullaah) said: "When Hisham
ibn 'Abdil-Malik (who was the ruler) executed two of the people of bid'ah - from
amongst them Al-Ja'd ibn Dirham - Hisham was regretful; they made him regret. So
one of the scholars wrote to him and said to him, 'By Allaah the executing of those
people was better than the killing of two thousand Persians and Romans,
meaning the disbelievers, because this one corrupts the children of the
Muslims and squanders our main assets.' ...Because of this, [many from amongst]
the Salaf said: 'Indeed, Ahlul-Bid'ah are more harmful to Islaam then the
external enemies.' Why? Because this one damages from within and, after that,
opens the door for the enemy, saying to him, 'Come in!' When the Soofis and the
people of bid'ah and misguidance ruined the Islaamic world, and colonization arrived
and took hold of it, they found it to be a ready morsel. And when the Tartars came,
they found the Muslims to be a ready morsel. Why? Because bid'ah had pulverized
them and crushed them completely. It did not make them deserving of the Help of
Allaah, Tabarak wa Ta'aala, so those who were advancing slowly upon them arrived."

The Prophet (salallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) used to warn against bid'ah in every khutba -
and said it is the 'most evil of affairs' (Sharrul-Umoor) - even though there was not
a single bid'ah in his time!

As for the Salafee, he is firmly grounded upon the original, ancient affair,

Shaikh Al-Anjaaree (hafidhahullaah) said: "Imam At-Tabaree said: 'The basis of the
Furqan according to us is separating between two things - and distinguishing
between them - and that is by way of: (1) making the truth evident and
(2) aiding it and other than that from the means of distinguishing between
truth and falsehood.' Therefore, oh brothers, if we actualize the criterion, and this
criterion is actualized with correct Eeman and establishment of Tawheed,
which Prophet Muhammad (salallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) and his companions were
upon, then the correct Religion and the strong methodology will become manifest."

And the Shaikh (hafidhahullaah) then proceeded to explain how the slave draws near to
Allaah by implementing the details, and the detailed methodology - "not the Ikhwanee
methodology, not the Soofi methodology, not the Tahreeri methodology, not the
Takfeeri methodology."

The Shaikh (hafidhahullaah) also said words that should be engraved in gold: "Whoever
hates the criterion (distinguishing between truth and falsehood), then he hates
the truth, which is The Religion (Islaam)."

Ibn Taymiyyah said the groups are three:
a- those who are aided and victorious
b- those who oppose
c- those who forsake (even though they may be Muslim)

There is not a fourth group; this is Ibn Taymiyyah's statement.

Shaikh Al-Anjaaree had earlier said that whoever is troubled or irritated by the separation betwen truth and
falsehood, then he has weakness with him, and illness has taken root in his heart, and he has been afflicted
with something.

Hamza Yusuf! And all those still alive whom you follow in opposition to
Muhammad's guidance, and all those still alive whom follow you - in opposition to
Muhammad's guidance (salallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam)!

he hates the truth, which is The Religion (Islaam).

Something of grave importance that needs to be addressed here is that denying or
hating anything that Allaah revealed is Kufr, from the violations that expel one from
the Religion!

So these people refute the one who warns against bid'ah and Shirk, but the caller to
bid'ah and Shirk (and magic) is invited to talk, and even paid to do so, and well fed,
and they place his picture on a poster, and advertise this and his scheduled talk on the
walls of the masjid, in the media, on the internet. Aoodhubillaah! Aoodhubillaah!

There are no contradictions or loopholes in this Religion, ya ikhwaan.

SubhanAllaahi Wa Bi-Hamdihi.

Thus, these evil people pin an ayah of Allaah against other ayat of Allaah - accusing
Allaah of contradicting Himself, aoodhubillaah! - when the deficiency simply lies in
their own understanding, and/or the corruption of their intention.

Imam Ahmad recorded that 'Amr bin Shu'ayb said that his father said that his
grandfather said: "I and my brother were present in a gathering, which is more
precious to me than red camels. My brother and I came and found that some of the
leaders of the Companions of the Messenger of Allaah (salallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam)
were sitting close to a door of his. We did not like the idea of being separate from
them, so we sat near the room. They then mentioned an ayah and began disputing
until they raised their voices.

The Messenger of Allaah was so angry that when he went out, his face was red. He
threw sand on them and said to them:

Behold and take care, O people! This is how the nations before you were
destroyed, because of their disputing with their Prophets and their
contradicting parts of the Books with other parts. The Qur`an does not
contradict itself. Rather, it testifies to the truth of itself. Therefore, whatever of
it you have knowledge in, then implement it, and whatever you do not know of
it, then refer it to those who have knowledge in it.

Ahmad also recorded that 'Abdullah bin 'Amr said: "I went to the Messenger of
Allaah one day. When we were sitting, two men disputed about an ayah, and their
voices became loud. The Prophet (salallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said:

"Verily, the nations before you were destroyed because of their disagreements
over the Book." Muslim and An-Nasa`i recorded this hadeeth.

This is why some from the righteous predecessors used to say: "How many people
seek to find fault with a statement that is correct, and their downfall is faulty
understanding?"

One of the reasons for this ignorance and deception of Ahlul-Bid'ah is their lack of
patience in seeking knowledge. Due to this, they don't properly learn the Usool (the
fundamentals, the 'Aqeedah, Allaah's Beautiful Names and Perfect Attributes, and
what they necessitate) of the Religion, thus they display bad manners with Allaah
and His reports (Qur`an and Sunnah) when the reports reach them. And thus they

approach the Qur`an and Sunnah with bad manners and lack of respect, brazenly
placing their opinions and principles and objectives above the Qur`an and Sunnah.

As student Abul-'Abbaas Moosa Richardson (hafidhahullaah) recently explained that the
reason why the Khawaarij slander the Salafee scholars by calling them "scholars of
menses" is because some of these Khawaarij attended some lessons when they were
younger, and they noticed that when beginning Fiqh, the scholars began
with Tahara (purification) - which is a condition for the Salat to be accepted and
enters into many areas of Fiqh. So when the Khawaarij noticed the scholars going
into detail when teaching, these people did not have the patience to sit and learn this
detail, so they left the circles of knowledge, and thus went astray. They couldn't get
past Tahara. They didn't have patience. So these days, when slandering the scholars,
the Khawaarij use this term because in their mind the scholars are still teaching
menses 25 years later!

Even though they are aware of the fact that details exist, they don't have patience to
learn it. For example, they are hasty in making takfeer, and they don't have the
patience to learn the Usool of the Religion, to learn when takfeer can be applied, by
whom, and the Mawani' (those matters that would prevent takfeer) that need to be
removed - by a scholar - before takfeer can be applied to a Muslim - again, by a
scholar.

These people who don't learn the details like to put everyone under the same blanket,
like when Sayyid Qutb made takfeer of the whole Ummah even though the Prophet
(salallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said: There will never cease to be a group from my
nation manifest upon the truth - unharmed by those oppose them and by those
who forsake them - until the Command of Allaah comes. [Muslim]

Likewise, the Khawaarij have trouble differentiating between Major Shirk and minor
shirk, so if they see from the ruler (whom they fix their binoculars on) any judgment
or action opposing what Allaah revealed, they are quick to shout from the minbar, or
behind a microphone, or type into their blog: "So and so is a kaafir, Taghoot,
Fir'awn..." to the end of these names. If the explanation from Ibn 'Abaas and 'Atta

reach them concerning the fact that this is minor Kufr (unless you know that in his
heart he declares this judgment - opposing Allaah's judgment - to be permissible, or
equal to Allaah's judgment or better), they say back to you: "Just give me a Yes or no
answer. Leave out the details." Or "answer me - Yes or no, no detail - is it Shirk?"

They don't have patience. As Shaikh 'Adil Sayyid (hafidhahullaah) said last year about
some of these people, they only believe in strength - brute force, butting heads.

They don't have patience. This religion is a religion of details.

For example, do you treat and give da'wah the same way to a person who is eager to
follow the truth, maa`sha-Allaah, as you do to an arrogant and obstinate caller to
bid'ah who has made himself an obstacle in the call to the truth? No.

Allaah said:

Invite (mankind, Oh Muhammad) to the Way of your Lord with wisdom (i.e.
with the Divine Inspiration and the Qur`an) and fair preaching, and argue with
them in a way that is better. Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone astray
from His Path, and He is the Best Aware of those who are guided. (An-Nahl,
ayah 125)

So in this ayah, Allaah commanded with different ways of giving da'wah depending on
who the subject is. As the scholars - among them Shaikh Taraheeb Ad-Dosiri
(hafidhahullaah) - have insightfully explained from the Sunnah:

Using wisdom ------> in giving da'wah to one who wants good, loves good, but is
ignorant of good: so you tell him the salat (prayer) is like this and its reward is like
this, siyam (fasting) is like this and its reward is like this, and so forth.

Using admonition -----> to one who is lazy, laxed, short in doing good, whose
desire for good is little, whose desire for evil is stronger: so it is not enough that you
call him to good, like the first type. For this type, you must also remind him with
admonition, and the fear of Allaah, and the bad results of evil.

Argue in a way that is best ----> with those who turn away from good, running
towards evil, supporting evil, have become an obstacle toward that which is good, and
pushes (calls to) evil. So the Shaikh said that it is not enough to call this person with
what you called the first two. In addition, you must argue in a way that is best, explain
the falsehood he is upon, remove his doubts, and support the truth with evidences.

etc... This religion is a religion of details. We have even been properly taught the
manners and etiquettes of going to the bathroom.

When 'Aa`ishah (radiallaahu 'anha) was approached by a woman who asked 'Aa`ishah
(radiallaahu 'anha) in a manner that people upon the truth don't ask: Why is it that we
make up the days that we miss in Ramadan (due to menses), but not the prayers? So
due to the manner that the woman asked the question, 'Aa`ishah (radiallaahu 'anha)
addressed the manhaj aspect of the question, and asked her in return: Are you from
Hoorooriyah (the Khawaarij)?

The Khawaarij (and all of Ahlul-Bid'ah) have major issues and doubts concerning the
details of the Religion.

This religion is a religion of detail, and Allaah tests us however He wills, and He is not
asked about what He wills, rather we will be judged.

When asked regarding the wisdom of praying toward the Ka'bah, the Permanent
Committee (headed by Shaikh Baaz, rahimahullaah) answered:

"It is known that the duty of a Muslim is to carry out Allaah's commands as
much as possible and refrain from committing what He has prohibited.
Whether one grasps its wisdom or not, one must believe that Allaah commands
only that which is of benefit, and prohibits that which is harmful. All of His
legislations contain wisdom which He knows; He reveals of this wisdom what
He wishes so that believers may increase their Eeman (Faith) and witholds
what He wishes so that believers may increase their submission to Him..."

Allaah, Ta'aala, said the believers are those who say: We hear and obey!

The only saying of the faithful believers, when they are called to Allaah (His
Words, the Qur`an) and His Messenger to judge between them, is that they
say: "We hear and we obey." And such are the prosperous ones (who will live
forever in Paradise). (An-Noor, ayah 51)
