Sisonke Social Circus was

started by Lionel Chanarin and Megan Hislop in 2011. Sisonke aims to bring the diverse cultures and communities of the Stellenbosch area together through the magic of circus free of charge for all participants. The show on the 17th August at 2pm at the Kayamandi High School is a free show. Please come and support this amazing project where children dare to dream, giving a wonder-filled performance for the whole family.

Northern Harmony Choir Concert 7pm Friday 16th August in the Hall
On Friday 16th August we are being visited by Northern Harmony, a 34 piece choir from America with lots of heart and soul. They are working with Sisonke Circus towards a Saturday Circus performance, and they are also doing a workshop with our high school choir on Friday afternoon. They are then treating us to a concert on Friday evening, joined by the high school choir. Please come along and bring the children, especially if they sing in either of the school choirs. Entrance fee is on a donation basis, with suggested minimum donation of R20, so that we can at least cover the cost of supper (made by the school shop).

Dear Parents As you may be aware, Spier kindly donates the use of its stage for our School Eurythmy performance each year. Unfortunately, our available times and theirs did not coincide this year and so we will be having the primary school Eurythmy during school hours in the hall. Due to the limited space, each class will show their work to the class below them to celebrate what they have achieved so far this year. Parents are welcome to attend their childrens performance; however please be aware that the seating space is very limited and the times are approximate. Parent Enrichment Course

These workshops will take place on Friday afternoons from 3-5pm and the cost is R60 per session.
