The great missionary-minded congregation in Springfield, Illinois has encouraged us so much, for we are sure they are now heavily engaged in many needy fields of labor, besides the Christian Day school program they are conducting in such a fine way. For all of these helpers in the Gospel,
we are deeply grateful. Surely others will let God move them to like
readiness lor sacrifice.

living costs here are expensive and especially when we are not settled and on the move from place to place, contacting the brethren. This is the hardest work we have ever done, nevertheless we are not complainingbut brethren, how much time and money could be saved by making the investment for Christ now, in order to
speed the transfer.
Think it over! Good intentions for future help will not get us over there and
yordained that there should be equality in giving and sacrificing to carry the Word
Life to those in darkness. ^

We are so thankful for the health, the friends, the work, the field, the
goal and the Hope that God has given to our family. We thank God with joy for all of our friends and loved ones who have helped us so liberally this last year. We pray for all of you, and are so thankful to know that many of you are remem
bering us in your daily prayers also. Keep on believing and obeying and praying.
We hope to be able to send another Newsletter during January, but we pray
daily for wisdom to know how to be the best kind of stewards possible with all of
God s money that brethren are entrusting with us to do His work.
