The clueless, comically self-confident kid detective returns in a sequel to the New York Times best-selling Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made.
He doesnt like to pull rank. To reveal that hes this guy: Timmy Failure, founder, president, and CEO of the greatest detective agency in town, perhaps the nation. But he is. And hes about to crack the biggest case of his generation: a school competition to find a stolen globe. Its his ticket to bringing home a $500 prize, which is guaranteed to set him up for life. But someone is clearly trying to game the system. Hoodwink. Con. Defraud. So its up to Timmy Failure, with the dubious help of Total, his lazy polar-bear partner, and his unlikely new ally, eccentric Great-Aunt Colander, to find a way to avenge these shenanigans. Defeat this injustice. If he can only get his entry form in on time. Stephan Pastis is the authorillustrator of Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made, a New York Times bestseller. He is also the creator of the devoutly followed comic strip Pearls Before Swine, which appears in more than six hundred newspapers. His compilation Larry in Wonderland debuted at #1 on the New York Times bestseller list for paperback graphic novels. Stephan Pastis lives in northern California.

What in the world are Boom Boom shoewheels? His aunts invention. Theyre a type of roller skate. An exceedingly dangerous one. Will Timmy ever make peace with Corrina Corrina? When monkeys fly. What is the funniest or most memorable comment you have heard from a kid reader about Timmy Failure? A young boy in the audience of a book panel I was on asked me when the next Timmy book would be coming out. When I told him not for another year, he let out a very loud, SIGHhhhhh.

How are you managing to keep up with juggling the daily comic strip and the Timmy Failure series? Well, I love it all, and when you love what you do, its not that hard.
In Timmy Failure: Now Look What Youve Done, you have completely uprooted Timmy and put him in a different setting with new characters. Was that a conscious decision when you set out to write the second book? Definitely. For me, its fun to put Timmy in a new situation and see what hell do. I also wanted to challenge him a bit, because I feared that the success of the first book was going to his head. Tell us about the most important new character to be introduced to Timmys world. His great-aunt Colander. At the beginning of the book, Timmy just sees her as someone with a few too many holes in her head. But that perception changes over the course of the book.
