“PLAN OF THE AGES”
PARAGRAPH 1
a. “reflection of God shown in the eyes of His created” - The image of God shown in you
or your acceptance of salvation in His Christ, now shown as His Spirit living in you. We
are the temple of God.

PARAGRAPH 2
a. “Behold the Light from Heaven” - The Light from Heaven refers to Jesus the Christ.
b. “Twelve Stars” - Refers to the twelve apostles.
c. “the Framework” - Refers to Jesus’ sacrifice.
d. “the needlework” - Refers to the words spoken by Jesus.
e. “the finest of linens” - Refers to Jesus’ miracles.
f. “held fast by the hand of God” - God’s will... What He has purposed comes to pass.
g. ”worn by the twelve” - All words of Truth and miracles done by Jesus would also be done
by the apostles, through the Holy Spirit.
h. “wear and accept” - Acceptance of Truth and salvation in Christ, followed by works in
faith, through the Holy Spirit.
i. “different colors and times” - Many different peoples and nations will come to Christ over
time, between His first coming and His return.
PARAGRAPH 3
a. “pool” - This refers to Jesus and the world He created.
b. “twelve trees” - Refers to the twelve apostles.
c. “one tree withered and died” - Refers to Jesus’ disciple, Judas Iscariot, who betrayed Him.
d. “oak of quick growth” - This refers to the apostle, Paul.
e. “branches far reaching” - The Gospel has spread across time and throughout the world,
separating into many different churches or branches of the same Tree.
f. “spring forming the pool” - This refers to Jesus, who formed the earth.

PARAGRAPH 4
a. “the pool” - This refers to the world.
b. “pool in the beginning” - This refers to the Garden of Eden.
c. “soon corrupted and roiling” - Sin started in the Garden, with the devil tempting Eve,
leading to the entire world in corruption during the time of Noah.
d. “God wept and His tears filled the entire earth” - This refers to the Great Flood.
e. “cleansing His creation” - God destroyed the wicked in the flood.
f. “those few” - This refers to Noah and his family.
g. “His weeping ceased” - God stopped the rain and the waters receded.
h. “leaving its remnants” - (double meaning) This refers to the lakes, seas, etc. that were left
after the water receded. This also refers to Noah and His descendants.
i. “the new hope” - This refers to God’s covenant with Noah.
j. “arc of colors” - This refers to the rainbow God set in the sky after the flood, the sign of the
covenant between God and Noah (See Genesis 9:12-13).
k. “shown in the eyes of His promised” - This refers to the covenant God made with Noah
and his descendants, as they looked upon the sign of the covenant, the rainbow.
PARAGRAPH 5
a. “pool settled” - This refers to the earth being calm and at peace, resting from the wickedness
of men for a time after the flood.
b. “ocean of waves and raging seas” - This refers to a large population of peoples and
nations, living in sin and warring with each other.
c. “one last tear drop” - This refers to Jesus Christ.
d. “center of the pool” - This refers to Israel.
e. “turned cloudy and green” - God’s people had become stagnant and rank, corrupted,
confused, impure, through envy, lust and greed, and all kinds of sins.
f. “single drop breaks the surface” - Jesus’ sacrifice conquered sin and
changed everything (the New Covenant).
g. “ripple” - Jesus’ sacrifice and the Gospel spreading throughout the world.
h. “every end of its reach” - Jesus’ message and gift will reach every single person on earth...
Then He will return.
i. “smooth waters in between its ripple and center” - The hearts of those, who follow and
accept Jesus and the Gospel, are calm.
j. “center” - This refers to Jesus.
k. “ripple” - The waters in front of the ripple are not calm, but being moved from their place
and stirred up until the ripple, turned wave, washes over them.
l. “twinkling stars riding on the ripple” - This refers to the apostles spreading the message
that Jesus brought, which broke the surface, changing everything.
m. “lights went out” - The original twelve apostles have died.

n. “ripple continue on, becoming waves, now turned to tidal waves” - The spread of the
Gospel has continued through the generations, growing in strength until it will be
preached to the whole world. These waves will crash against the shores of all those at
rest, who have false beliefs, causing many to become clean through Christ and many
more to resist, leading to much killing and war. Then Jesus will return in full power
and glory. Indeed, Jesus’ words will come down on the world and the wicked as a tidal
wave, destroying all that is wicked and evil, until the earth is completely swept clean in
His crashing waters. These waves and tidal waves are also representative of the current
state of the world today and all its conflict, war and evil. The waves and tidal waves also
represent the literal waves and tidal waves that are occurring in the world today, and
the increase of disasters and all kinds of troubles - “birth pains” (See Luke 21, especially
verse 25. Also see Matthew 24 & Psalms 46:2-3)
PARAGRAPH 6
a. “the One is come” - Jesus is in the world now, in spirit.
(See Acts 2:17-18; Revelation 2: 7, 11, 17, 29; Revelation 3: 1, 6, 13, 22)
b. “is yet come” - This refers to Jesus’ return.
c. “has come already” - Jesus came already as a man to die on the cross.
d. “He again will walk upon these waters” - Jesus will put all the world’s trouble beneath His
feet (See Psalm 8:6; Matthew 22:44; Matthew 14:25; Mark 12:36).
e. “the waters no more” - Wickedness and troubles will be gone from the earth.
(See Revelation 21:1)
f. “even the sea has passed away” - This is in reference to Revelation 21:1.
g. “only the Mountain remains filling the entire world” - The Mountain is Jesus.
(See Daniel 2:35)
