First of all,I would like to say thanks to Mr. Amarjeet Rout(Project Head) who gave me a big opportunity to take training in his Company. He guided me from time to time and gave me dynamic ideas and suggestions by which I am able to complete my training successfully. PREFACE
The six week training is a part of our B.Tech, Electronics and Communication. Practical Industrial Training mainly aims at making one aware of industrial environment; which means that one gets to know the limitation, constraint and freedom under which an engineer works. One also gets an opportunity to watch from close quarter that indicates manager relation. This training mainly involves industrial and complete knowledge about designing, assembling and manufacturing process of various equipments manufactured by an industry.

During this six week period, as a student, there is a great opportunity of understanding Industrial practices. Most of the theoretical knowledge that has been gained during our course is useful only if it can be applied to production and services in the industry. The learnt is applied, tested, verified and rectified. Apart from this the student gets an opportunity to learn latest technology and is upgraded of the new trends immersing in the industry of interest.

I had the opportunity to utilize my six week summer internship in Events IT Solution,Madhu Vihar. I was a part of the companys new venture CAR, which provided me a great deal of learning. My sphere of knowledge was expanded both at technical and personal level. I not only got chance to work on Live Project but also witnessed the related industrial processes and got acquainted to many of the prevalent technologies.

Introduction to Microsoft visual studio: Microsoft Visual Studio is an integrated development environment (IDE) from Microsoft. It is used to develop console and graphical user interface applications along with Windows Forms or WPF applications, web sites, web applications, and web services in both native code together with managed code for all platforms supported by Microsoft Windows, Windows Mobile, Windows CE, .NET Framework, .NET Compact Framework and Microsoft Silverlight. What is .NET Framework The .NET Framework (pronounced dot net) is a software framework developed by Microsoft that runs primarily on Microsoft Windows. It includes a large library and provides language interoperability (each language can use code written in other languages) across several programming languages. Programs written for the .NET Framework execute

in a software environment (as contrasted to hardware environment), known as the Common Language Runtime (CLR), an application virtual machine that provides services such as security, memory management, and exception handling. The class library and the CLR together constitute the .NET Framework.

The .NET Framework's Base Class Library provides user interface, data access, database connectivity, cryptography, web application development, numeric algorithms, and network communications. Programmers produce software by combining their own source code with the .NET Framework and other libraries. The .NET Framework is intended to be used by most new applications created for the Windows platform. Microsoft also produces an integrated development environment largely for .NET software called Visual Studio.

Microsoft SQL Server is a relational database management system developed by Microsoft Inc.. As a database, it is a software product whose primary function is to store and retrieve data as requested by other software applications, be it those on the same computer or those running on another computer across a network (including the Internet). There are at least a

dozen different editions of Microsoft SQL Server aimed at different audiences and for different workloads (ranging from small applications that store and retrieve data on the same computer, to millions of users and computers that access huge amounts of data from the Internet at the same time). Its primary query languages are T-SQL and ANSI SQL.

Introduction to c#:
C# is an elegant and type-safe object-oriented language that enables developers to build a variety of secure and robust applications that run on the .NET Framework. You can use C# to create traditional Windows client applications, XML Web services, distributed components, client-server applications, database applications, and much, much more. Visual C# provides an advanced code editor, convenient user interface designers, integrated debugger, and many other tools to make it easier to develop applications based on version 4.0 of the C# language and version 4.0 of the .NET Framework.

Introduction to Sql:

SQL stands for Structured Query Language. SQL language is used to create, transform and retrieve information from RDBMS (Relational Database Management Systems). SQL is pronounced SEQUEL. SQL is a declarative programming language designed for creating and querying relational database management systems. SQL is relatively simple language, but its also very powerful. SQL can insert data into database tables. SQL can modify data in existing database tables. SQL can delete data from SQL database tables. Finally SQL can modify the database structure itself create/modify/delete tables and other database objects. SQL uses set of commands to manipulate the data in relational databases. For example SQL INSERT is used to insert data in database tables. SQL SELECT command is used to retrieve data from one or more database tables. SQL UPDATE is used to modify existing database records.

About the project:

LSG EXPRESS is a window application used in MLM business specially in sales marketing, It s a three layer architecture coded in c#. User can maintain data of member, product ,location, account, member structure. It has a very easy graphical user interface so a non IT person could also operate it very easy. Three layer architecture: A three-tier architecture is a client-server architecture in which the functional process logic, data access, computer data storage and user interface are developed and maintained as independent modules on separate platforms. Three-tier architecture is a software design pattern and a well-established software architecture. Its three tiers are the presentation tier, application tier and data tier. The three tiers in a three-tier architecture are: 1. Presentation Tier: Occupies the top level and displays information related to services available on a website. This tier communicates with other tiers by sending results to the browser and other tiers in the network.

2. Application Tier: Also called the middle tier, logic tier, business logic or logic tier, this tier is pulled from the presentation tier. It controls application functionality by performing detailed processing. 3. Data Tier: Houses database servers where information is stored and retrieved. Data in this tier is kept independent of application servers or business logic

Starti ng the Softw are

Double click on LSG Express application. Enter the login details in the login form.

 After entering correct details, LSG EXPRESS will be opened. .

Member Master Introduction

Member Master manages member of company. User can add , edit delete and search member and nominee information. It gives a automatic memberID to new member.

Steps to add new member: Click on member master icon or open member master form through main master menu. A form will open in which both member and nominee form are in readable mode.

Click on the add button in tool menu. now both member and nominee are in writable mode having a automatic memberID. Fill details of member and nominee and click on save button in tool menu. A message will show save data successfully which confirm successfully saving of data.

 New member can b be shown in data grid view.

Sales Master Introduction

Sales Master is the kernel of LSG EXPRESS. Here user can purchase product. Grid view shows account details, sales history. User can select start date and end date to view sales in a specify interval.

Steps to purchase product

Open sales master by clicking on sales menu icon or through main menu. Select memberID from drop down. Refer code and Refer name will be

automatically filled in textbox. Select productID from dropdown. Enter the quantity of product. According to quantity,price will be filled in price textbox. Select purchase date from date time picker. Click in purchase button. A message is shown on screen for confirmation of successfully save of data.

An automatically invoice will generate on click of purchase button.

Account Master Introduction

Account master manages account of member. Here user can see balance of member and account details in current month,previous month and can specify a custom interval by selecting start date and end date.

Member Structure Introduction

Member structure will show tree view of member. Here user can see

any member details. User can click on + expand the tree and - compress the tree.

Member Status Introduction

Member can have any status i.e. Fresh, Error, Under and Active. Member Status will show the status of every member. User can update

or edit the status of any member and can see the status of any member during a specified interval by start date and end date.

Self evaluation
These 6 weeks Industrial Training has led us to understand the various designing, assembling and the manufacturing processes of equipments in the industry, CEL. It has also enhanced our knowledge about the functioning and management of an industry, which we are sure, will be beneficial to us in our career.
